⇒ literacy
This is a semi-literate and literate roleplay. Please make sure your posts have enough information for others to work with; meaning have at least 400 words per post. I understand writer's block, but if you continuously post too little of information, you will be warned. If it persists, you will be booted. It is not that hard to think on a post. If you're having constant trouble, then you might not belong here. I understand that many people are upset about the posting minuinum, but as the beginning of this paragraph states, it IS a semi-literate to literate guild. It isn't fair to other people who put time and effort into their posts and the replies they get are short. Besides, the shorter the posts, the harder it is for your partners to reply to. Another thing, song lyrics DO NOT count as posting content. Don't put them in there and expect them to count as your post. No txt tlk plz, same goes for any shortening of words. Try and use Spell Check if you are incapable of spelling correctly. You are also expected to understand the difference between words such as "there," "their," and "they're." As well as "knew," and "new." And so on. It's not that hard, believe me. If you are seriously having issues, Google it or ask for help.
⇒ profiles
All profiles will be posted in the appropriate thread and profile layout. All profiles will be accepted and if one of the mods see a problem with the profile, you will be sent a PM telling you to fix it. If you ignore the PM and do not make the changes, we have the right to delete that profile. I highly suggest that you make sure that your profiles are correct, and if you are told by a mod to fix it, I'd fix it as soon as possible. I honestly don't want to delete anyone's characters. Especially if you don't have them saved anywhere else.
⇒ availability
There are times when we have problems with the balance of characters. If myself or one of the mods believe that there is too many slaves or masters, we have the right to put a ban on characters. I hope that this will not become too much of a problem, and everyone will try to make sure to keep the balance equal.
⇒ posting
Be sure to put your character picture, and name in your posting layout. Do not use action marks ( - : * ) for actions, but do use "bold quotations" or
⇒ pictures
You may only use anime pictures when it comes to characters. Also, please make sure your pictures are appropriate for Gaia. We want this guild to last, yes? So keep it appropriate. We also have the right to deny your character picture if it is showing too much, or we are not comfortable using it in this roleplay. Another thing, I don't want HUGE pictures that will stretch the page. This goes for profiles and posting layouts. I absolutely HATE seeing huge pictures. It annoys me and there is absolutely no need for your picture to be that big.
⇒ characters
There should be no Mary Sue's or Gary Loo's. People are not perfect, and they surely won't be in this guild. Everyone has fears, weaknesses, and strengths. If you think your character does not, then think again. This also goes to say, know your strength. There are no all-powerful characters, and they cannot do everything perfectly. On top of that, do NOT godmod. This means, do not auto someone's character in any way shape or form unless you have their permission. Characters may not be killed unless there is permission from the owner [if the owner is present in the guild], and a mod.
⇒ activity
This guild has went through much inactivity before being rebuilt, and I really do not want to do the same thing again. So, with that being said, BE ACTIVE. If you do not post at least once a week (without notifying someone of an absence beforehand), then this may not be the guild for you. Activity warnings will be sent out at the two week mark, and from the first warning, you have exactly three days to get a post for that character out. Failing to do so will result in a second warning PM, giving you yet another three days. Failing to do so again will result in removal of your character(s) and/or removal of the guild. If you are recovering from a number of absence warnings, you will be put on a tight leash and mods will not be lenient with you. If something is happening in your real life, and you will be absent for more than three days from gaia, then you will need to post that in the Hiatus thread. This allows all of the people in the guild to know that you are going to be delayed or gone for a while, and that way we will not wonder where you have gone. It is only fair, correct?
⇒ romance//violence
Romance and violence are allowed and extremely encouraged. HOWEVER, I do not want this guild deleted after all this hard work of rebuilding it. If you become too graphic in your posts (detailed talks of sexual acts, extreme gore in kills), you will be warned and made to redo your post. If you fail to do so, you will be removed from the guild. With that being said, be sure you time skip if sexy time occurs. This rule also applies to swearing: keep it to a minimum. I'm not entirely too strict on swearing, as I do it quite a bit myself, but keep it in line for the kiddies, yeah? Not every other word, and try not to use the F bomb too much. It happens, I know, but try for the kids! Remember, follow GAIA ToS - I mean, you did agree to that when you joined, anyway.
⇒ other
If you are wanting to use something from this guild, you will need to ask the captain, Elena Tresemme. If we find something in your role play that has been taken from this guild without permission, you will be reported for stealing. However, if you are given permission to use something from here, you must give credit back to the captain, as well as the guild. Failure to do so will result in you being reported for stealing. On another note, pay attention to the guild announcements, as they may have very vital information in there. Respect the mods and listen to them, as well as everyone in this guild. If you are harassing another member, you will be told to stop. Failure to do so will result in you being kicked. If there is a problem in the role play with another guild member, please take the problem directly to a mod rather than dealing with it yourself. We try to keep this guild drama free, and the mod will attempt to resolve the issue as quickly and easily as possible. However, if your problem is with a mod, you must take this to the guild captain. If your problem is with the guild captain... tough luck. Post "Yes, my mistress." in this thread to show you understand the rules and agree to follow them.
