Personality :
This feisty lady can have a bit of an arrogant side to her at times. She is a lean, small thing with muscle and she will make sure you don't dare mistaken her for any typical lady. Nori has a dream of one day becoming as good as the Wardens of old once were. Though this has been a difficult task, as she first had to acquire a Guardian and then convince people that there was still need for something of the nature. Needless to say, Nori is a firm believer in the Old Ways. And anyone that dares to try and tell her otherwise or change her beliefs will find themselves with one feisty chick! Not to mention she does have a bit of a competitive side to her, which likes to rear its ugly head when she is 'proving' a point about why carrying on in the Old Ways is important. Nori also is not opposed to telling you when she's clearly better at something then you. Especially if she does not like you.
Right along side that arrogant streak she can have, Nori also suffers from the unfortunate disease of having a temper. When growing up, her brother always joked she should have been born a redhead instead of the pale hair color that ran among their family. Typically, Nori can put up with the small things fairly well, just finding them annoying or ignoring them all together. However say the wrong thing or be the cause for her to drip ink on the map she worked hard at sketching and Nori will turn around with her nails bared. Oh and if you even dare to mess with her impressive stash of wine, best pray you can flee the vicinity fast. That is her stash, damnit! Don't touch it!
If there is one thing Nori positively loathes doing, it's letting anyone know how she truly feels. Knowing such things could give you a weapon against her. And sharing feelings made her look weak. Something she can't afford to be seen as. Not if she wants to maintain the strong warrior image she's worked hard to achieve. It proved to people that she knew how to work hard and could be trusted to do her job. But more importantly, sharing how she felt meant letting someone get close to her. And Nori is not ready to let this happen yet. Or to be more exact, is afraid of losing someone again. She will work in a team or with a partner, but at night, she always returns home alone. Or used to until Nightlark claimed her. She still finds she prefers being alone eight out of ten times, excluding having her bonded there. Him she can't see herself being without, which both confuses her and frightens her. It is her one real fear, allowing anyone to get close to her and forming bonds. Only very select people manage to weasel their way into such a position. Unless you cheated like Nightlark did!
Hobbies :
xxxxWine tasting and collecting ~ She's got an addiction to the flavor of wine's, preferring the red variety but never opposed to whites. However she is not an alcoholic, just enjoys having bottles of it stashed away for when she does want it and has developed a bit of a hobby in collecting vintages.
xxxxStudying the Old Ways ~ A firm believer in the Old Ways, she appreciates any literature she can find to learn anything she may not have been told yet. She also adores the mystery the Old Ways provide!
xxxxExploring ~ Has a knack for venturing into the Wardwood and exploring the outskirts with Nightlark until something, like a strong feeling of unease, finally drives them out. She tries to venture deeper and deeper each trip to the Wood.
