This stall was not like the others, it was filled with tapestries, walls covered in rich fabric. Shades of green and teal to red and black and in between that brightened in the soft glow of the paper lanterns that was strung from the ceiling, warding away the dusk bugs with its warmth and light. The actual front of the stall had a simple felt display area, with notches along the inside in neat columns, the wood was well worn and fragrant, Lavender and Green tea filled the air with each inhalation.
It was only at that time did the duo in matching scarves owning the stall and its wares made an appearance. Ying's rosy cheeks puffed as she waved an arm in the air and made a high pitched noise of irritation and went to go fiddle with something in the back. The two jade cups in the back were filled, steaming and piping hot tea sat in the vessels waiting to be indulged.
The other shop holder made its appearance, lost in the pile of garments that sat in its arms as the boil grunted with the effort of taking it all to the front in one trip. Bits and pieces of clothing began to unravel and drop as Jing went about sorting the pile into more manageable sections, the garments themselves were scarves, laid out on every peg for display. some were simple, others rich in style and texture as fine and luxurious that the boil would raise an eyebrow in question as you went closer to touch it.
Maybe he was checking to see if your fingers were free from any grease.
Wares & Prices Basic Scarves: 15 Seeds
Custom Scarves
On the table is a small notice about customarily made scarves. Yes you too can have your own special IC scarf for just 5 seeds!
Simple select a thread that you think matches the fabric you'd like. If you match it correctly, Ying or Jing will happily make you a scarf! If you don't match it ... well you'll just have to try again.
Each time you try to match strings, it will cost 5 seeds.
Roll 1d10. If you roll a 4 or 8, Ying and Jing deem your fabric/thread combo matching, and you win! If you don't roll 4 or 8, the colors didn't match. There is no need for Ying/Jing to confirm. Just rp the thread not matching the fabric and try again!
You can roll 3 times a day.Roll as many times you want for today! (Please only roll up to 3d10 in each post though, thank you!) If you fail just assume your character was told it did not match/they figured it out on thier own, you don't have wait on our reactions.

Ying very neatly folded a scarf on front of the display. The twins had worked hard on this display, and she was feeling nervous, nitpicky even. She just hoped they would sell well. They were monetarily well enough in the clans due to their trade, but in Halloween? In Halloween they had next to nothing.
So today was their day to right that wrong. A scowl at the scarf she'd just folded. Tiny hands picked it up and refolded it again. She couldn't help it- she was nervous! This was their life!
"Do you think we made enough? What if we run out?" she asked her brother nervously. "I hope we have enough ..."

As Lan approached she smiled to the twins. Lovely craftsmanship as usual in their wares. Scarves were not commonly used but she did like them. Plus? She could perhaps get one for nearly free if she was lucky.
"You two are busy at work I see." She smiled, picking up a thread to twirl in her fingers. "Perhaps you can give one of your more loyal patrons a bit of a discount?"
After wondering around a bit Nessa noticed a booth full of beautiful scarves, she was about to pick one up when she noticed that the holder of this booth was watching her she pulls her hand back. "these are very nice." She looked over and saw a small sign about custom scarves she went on reading it and then dug into her pocket, pulled 5 silver seeds out and placed them on the booth. " I would like to try for one of these please." As she picked up a string and showed it to the pair of booth owners.

Ying lit up as Lan approached their booth. With her nerves, it was relieving to see a friend she knew well enough to make conversation with.
Unforunately, Ying completely missed Lan's subliminal question. "Ah ... I don't think so. We worked very hard on these. To discount them would be an insult to the materials ..." She bit her lip. "Do you think the price is too high?" Ying looked up at Lan with big worried eyes. She didn't want anyone to pay too much!
A little ghost ghoul came up to their booth and asked for a scarf. "Oh no, no, no. That thread doesn't match the fabric at all. Bring me the right thread and I would be happy too!"
" hmm alright." thinking a little more carefully this time she studies the pile of threads and sorts through them looking for just the perfect. She reached out and snatched one up holding it out. " how about this one?"

These Halloweeners clearly knew nothing about fashion.
Looking at the thread in her hand and back to the girl she puts the thread on the side and goes back to searching. " There has to be one in here that will work." she mumbles to herself. After a few more minutes she thinks she's got it, holding it up.

Shaheen was being sneaky, darting around, keeping her eyes peeled and her head constantly swiveling as she made her way around the various spirit week event areas. Shik was out there somewhere, grumping around like a bear with a sore paw over what she had done to him, and she was fairly certain if he caught her there would be hell to pay.
That thought alone was not nearly enough to wipe the smiley smirk off of her face, however. Stupid, lumbering, aggravating, mule headed man! He was getting just what he deserved.
Still...carelessness now was likely to get her killed.
At some point she ended up in the horsemen craft faire, and she darted around the assorted booths, idly eyeing the wares until one particular booth caught her attention. Now, Shaheen was not the most fashionable sort. As long as her clothes didn't get in the way while she was in the midst of battle, and left lots of room for her wings, it was wearable. However, as her golden eyes scanned the various scarves on display at the booth, she somehow got the ridiculous notion that if she bought one, she could conceal her face, and thus be harder for Shik to find.
Never mind the fact that she was the only 6'2" horsewoman wandering around with a wing span to match her size. This idea was fullproof.
Fullproof.
So she approached the booth to get a closer look at what they had for sale, but wasn't so sure she really liked the colors or patterns on what they had. She noticed a sign for customs, however, so made her way over there instead, reaching into the front of her top and pulling out five silver seeds to place on the counter top.
She then grabbed some thread and fabric and held it out towards whoever was manning the booth at the time.
Sigh. Siiiiiigh. Lan gave a nod and set the seeds down. "Fair enough. Week." She looked at the thread she had chosen. Good enough. And they would not tell Lan she as wrong after all. Nope. Not directly anyway.
Shagreen got a smile however. "Pleasure to see about Shaheen. Enjoying the festivities?"

Shaheen whirled at the voice, dagger suddenly in her free not-holding-a-string hand. When she saw who it was, however, the dagger was just as instantly gone again.
Somebody might have been a bit jumpy.
She gave Lan a wide smile, a rare sight on the war chieftains face. "Yes, very. As long as a certain executioner does not find me, that is." She was sure the noblewoman would know who she was referring to.
"Though if he does I am sure it would not be difficult to put him back in his place." She shrugged, nonchalantly, though on the inside she was still tensed and ready to take flight at any given moment.

Wearing a bright orange sweater and carrying a bouquet of orange flowers, Mayaa wandered into the booth, looking around with bright eyes. So many scarves!
She was tempted to reach out and touch one, but the look the boil gave her made her pull back and give him a sheepish wave. Mmm, Papi wouldn't be happy she was wasting her money, but, these were just so pretty!
Taking up an orange and black scarf, she brought it over to the counter and placed it in front of the boil, pulling out 15 silver pumpkin seeds.
"I'd like to buy this scarf please!"

Heidla was really amazed by the Conquest booth she stumbled upon. Carefully examining the scarfs provided she almost decided to buy a blue striped one with the horsemen mark, when she realized there was an option to get a custom one! Of course, the priestess will got for it. But which colours shall she choose?...
It took her a while to study the threads and colours provided, and finally the Death priestess picked up some warm, wide threads of light grey and navy blue colours. "Those... I'd like to have a custom scarf with those materials, please!", she handed the materials to one of the booth owners.
