Prior to entering Amityville Academy, all guests are required to check-in at the booth at the entrance to the school. A bored-looking gnome is manning the table, giving envious looks towards the suspicious-looking bushes on either side of the school interest. He grumbles and mutters something about getting the short end of the stick and how life wasn't fair and all sorts of other things that gnomes like to grumble about.

Perhaps it would be easiest to sign in and grab a guest badge, then move on.

The OOC

Welcome to Check-in! Before you can participate in any booths, please RP your quest character arriving at Amityville and grabbing a guest pass. Please also provide a link to your quest thread in your post, that way we'll know who your quest character is and what you look like!
- Dont have a quest character? Get one started here! All student quests are YEAR ONE and are from another school; feel free to make one up!

Remember, quest characters may not use Fear or natural forms or abilities! Enjoy Fright Night!

In addition, ALL HORSEMEN are required to wear a guest pass as well regardless of whether they are quests or not. And, yes, they do need to link to journals/enrolled/quest threads too! Horsemen also may not use Fear or any natural abilities during this event!

You may only play ONE quest character per person! If you wish to play multiple quests, you can "switch out" which character you're playing by visiting this thread again and RPing your quest leaving and your other quest arriving.

A bald ghoul appeared at the entrance, unaware of the faint wisps of toxic gas seeping out of the rotten bits of her body. She adjusted the mask positioned over her mouth and with a trill and a chirp, skipped on over towards the gnome. Cheerily, she began to wave to the gnome, leaning close as if trying to take a sniff with that hook nose of hers.

Once familiar with the gnome's scent, Marigold attempted to sign her name to receive a guest badge. Of course it may have come out wobbly and more like chicken scratch. With an equally cheerful melody, she entered the school grounds.

Kemnebi was headed back home from the Valentines field trip she'd just finished when the signup booth caught her eye. After a brief hesitation, Nebi shrugged and switched course. Ignoring the grumbling goblin, Nebi signed herself in, snagging a pass and sauntering back into the school.

Hua Bao Yu was excited. She had heard whispers of this Fright Night and thought maybe she'd meet up with other Horseman here. So, she sauntered over to the booth and signed in, grabbing the badge. Slowly, she pinned it on her sleeve near her collarbone so it could easily be seen. Who knows? Maybe she'd find her sister here tonight. She hoped so. Bao Yu was so lonely, lately.

Tseng wondered just why he needed a guest pass since he had a booth up and running, but he didn't object. He got one for himself, then moved on his way to get to work.

Eldrid loved events like this. Fright Night was everything he had been waiting for to check out the duds here at Amityville. Besides the obvious, he was a canine, and energy and excitement really resonated through his dark fur.

Grabbing the little badge after he had messily signed his name, he looked around his body for somewhere where it wouldn't melt before almost skipping forward, content to know he was going to have TONS OF FUN tonight.

---------------

On the flip side, Hua Lifen shuffled forward a short while after the canine had made his way through the building - taking sure steps and just in awe at how much was already happening before her. There was so much to do already and so many people around - whether they were Amityville students or whatever else.

Clearing her throat lightly, she shifted fluffy to one arm, the ghost dog peering around and riding the waves of excitement, and signed her name elegantly. Accepting the pass she clipped it to the sash at her hip, before taking her leave, going to help set up the stall she was assisting with.

Soren signed his name and got a pass.

He looked slightly less than pleased about the evening ahead of him.

It had been a rather uneventful day with nothing going on at all. He hated those days… the days when nothing happened… So he ended up spending most of the day just sleeping and laying around until nightfall. When the sun finally went down he figured he would go for a walk… that and he was hungry. After getting something to eat and enjoying a rather good run Micail came across a flyer. A flyer that advertised Fright Night going on at Amityville Academy. He had heard talk about it but never actually thought about going. He just stood there looking at the flyer for a moment before turning to leave. He managed to take two steps before turning back to the flyer and ripping it from where it was pinned. Holding it in his hand headed down the street toward Amityville Academy wile reading all the information on the flyer.

He had planned on enrolling in the Academy, so what better way to look around then going to Fright Night? A smirk crossed his face as he found himself standing at the entrance. Apparently before he could go in he needed some sort of pass. Glancing around he spotted a gnome at a booth. He looked rather bored and didn’t seem all to happy to be managing a booth like everyone else were having a good time. He glanced back down at the flyer before shrugging and making his way over to the booth. He slid a hand into a pocket as he stopped before the gnome. Looking down at him one of his ears twitched at the sound of someone laughing on his right.

“Hey… I need a pass to Fight Night.”

His three tails flicked behind him as he waited for the gnome to hand over the pass. For a moment he thought he wasn’t going to get one from the look on the gnomes face. After a few moments however, the gnome handed over a pass. Reaching out he took the pass and raised an eyebrow as he looked at it. The gnome quickly explained that he had to pin it on him somewhere for all to see. Shrugging Micail did just that. He pinned it to his chest, stuffed the flyer in his pocket then headed into the school.

As the line progressed, allowed guests to slowly sign in and make there way into the event, a variety of different signatures were scrawled onto the sign-in sheet. Some were neat, others were messy, and one...well.

Frankly, it looked like a scareling had written it. Besides the fact that the signature was quite large, it was also practically illegible. There might have been an "a" or an "i" in there if one were to squint...but one couldn't be certain. At the very least, the first letter--a big, bold "Z"--was pretty easy to recognize.

The tall horseman who possessed this terrible handwriting dropped the pen back onto the table once he was done with it, waving his arms out on either side of himself as he let the surge of the crowd carry him forward. With his guest pass hanging from his wrist, Zhiqiang grinned with childish excitement and glee. He was certain that he would enjoy himself at this event.

Lan got right down to business. She had a business to run after all. Sort of. Signing her name, grabbing the pass, she stuck it on her sash and walked on out.

Fright Night, a festival held by Amityville Academy. From what she heard from her resourceful Uchitels, it is a school "open day". Although it isn't the first time the shadow ghoul visited Amityville, Arynek was sure that it would be another new experience for her. Since she longed to enter this school, why not having a glance of how successful their organization was.

She signed and grabbed the pass provided by the muttering gnome at the booth, and wore it onto her neck.

Would she able to meet some friends this time also?

Az just happened to be passing near the school grounds when she noticed the flags announcing the "Fright Night".
No being enrolled yet the walkyrie saw her opportunity the see the school and the students close up.
Plus the booths promissed loads of fun.

So she walked up to the gnome and, paying no attention to its grumbling, signed her name on the guest sheet. She then gabbed the pass and attached it to her dear sword's hilt before entering.

Acerium had been looking forward to this FOREVER! Fun? Festivals? Boys? She scribbled her name on the sign in sheet- as best she could with branches- and hung a guest pass around one of the branches.
Wheeee! This would be so fun!

When Faint had heard about Fright Night, he'd been intrigued. Now that he could feel the buzz in the air and hear the chitter chatter of excitement? He really wanted to go experience it for himself. He signed his name in quick sprawling script and tied the guest pass to his belt, and then headed for the booths.
