NAME Rosemarie Tumbriel AGE 17 OCCUPATION Daughter, searching for a husband. FAMILY Ailing mother, no siblings or extended family known beyond some country cousins which Marie and her mother are not currently in contact with. Her father died shortly after she was born.
POSITIVES Charming, idealistic, optimistic. NEUTRALS Very, very young -- still believes in "true love," that adults just don't understand, and that things will always work out. NEGATIVE Can be manipulative, easily distracted, places exceptionally high value on social status.
APPEARANCE Slender towards the taller side of average, Marie has an olive complexion and light brown hair. Though her hair is very much plain and straight, as is known to run in her family, she wears it in complex, intricate styles done either by herself or her mother. With careful choices of hair ornaments and light touches of make-up, she also works hard to accent her dark green eyes, as she considers them to be one of her best features. In truth she is not an unattractive young lady, but neither is she an exceptionally beautiful one -- but she is always well put-together, with in-style dresses worn in excellent taste. Her bright personality also lends itself to her appearance, her smiles making her that much more attractive.
PERSONALITY Though she is still young, Marie possesses all the signs of a manipulative intelligence that could serve her very well in the future. She is easily distracted by her peers, and equates 'belonging' with success. For all of this, she falls easily and thoroughly in love, and situations where she attempts to be coy or flirtatious often get away from her. She tries to pretend that she is jaded and cynical, like some of the older youths she spends time with, but at heart she is a true romantic waiting for 'the one.'
SKILLS Nearly all are related to the upkeep of her appearance and the upkeep of her home. As Marie and her mother are rather less well-to-do than the families of many of the young men and women she spends time with, Marie has any number of tricks for appearing just as wealthy as they are. Where they have hairdressers, Marie does her own; Marie also knows how to repair and fit her own clothing, make and apply all of her own make-ups, and what jewels can be made to look as if they are more expensive then they really are. She is familiar with all the skills a young lady of her breeding ought to possess -- hosting a party, running a household, and providing for her husband's comforts. This does include managing the financial aspect of a household, which is perhaps her only useful skill.
HISTORY The Tumbriels are minor nobles, well within the ranks of nobility, who have fallen on hard times economically. Marie's father died shortly after she was born, and as there were no surviving males, the family fortune was left in the control of creditors, who have left their affairs in ruins. While this was not so apparent when she was very young, it is becoming more and more of a problem for Marie and her mother. Marie's mother is housebound, and cared for by the handful of servants who remain; Marie herself is set on finding a wealthy older man to marry. However, Marie is young enough to think that she can take her time doing so -- and idealistic enough to think she can find some dottering old fellow to bamboozle, while she spends his money and sleeps with whatever young men take her fancy.
Currently she spends a great deal of her time with the other members of the younger set, most of whom are second or third children, or considered unsuitable for success by their families for one reason or another. Though gently reared, these second-string youths spend their time being "rebellious" -- drinking away what little money their family gives them, sleeping around with each other, and making bets on which of their siblings are going to be married off soon.

Possibilities
Often Found Marie is a budding socialite -- she loves parties and social gatherings and rather dislikes being alone at any time. Fortunately, in a city like Palisade there is almost always something that she can go to; a tea, a show, a card game, a party .. she is especially drawn to any event which might have eligible bachelors in attendance. When not out and about she is often attending in a distracted way to household duties or with much more attention, repairing or remaking a well-coordinated outfit. She loves everything girly, and often browses shops without buying, just to look and see what's in fashion.
Opportunities Marie is on the hunt for a husband, and as such especially drawn to attractive young men known to be single. Money is an even bigger draw than physical attractiveness -- the richer he is the more she'll put up with, to the extent that she'd be perfectly satisfied with a much older man with an extensive fortune. For those without money but plenty of good looks and charm, Marie also enjoys temporary flings and brief affairs, and is very quietly rumored to be especially skilled between the sheets. She loves flirting, pretty things, and thinks Guardians are just big adorable fluffy things that exist for her to coo over.
The Dreaming Rules, authority, and proper behavior does not suit Aramis well, even from a young age. He is given to pranks, flippant responses, and rash behavior; impressing others is a favorite activity of his. His handsome coat with its beautifully contrasting colors is also something of which he is very proud, so he is fond of bathing and grooming.
Breeding I have my eye on someone at the moment, but it's always worth an asking .. x3
