About Ismiril
Name: Ismiril Keifuin Nickname: Miri Gender: Male Race: Dovaa Age: 26
Hair Color: Long and blond and bound in a braid Eye Color: Lavender Skin Color: Peach Horns/ Color: Two small straight horns and two large antler-like horns/ Dark purple Jewelery: Golden dragonscale earring and bright purple ear cuffs
Likes: Calligraphy, cleaning, cooking Dislikes: Violence, being left to his own devices for days at a time
Weakness: Slow to trust, sarcastic, hot headed Strengths: Wary, flexible, honest, blunt
Personality: Ismiril is shy- stalker shy that is- with a healthy dose of gender confusion. To him there is no difference between female and male, only that half carries the baby and the other helps create it. Because of this Miri is often found lacking in most 'masculine' traits. He has no desire to show off his strength, no chivalrous attitude towards females, no childish desire to play in the mud and eat bugs. He simply..is. He knows what's he's good at, which is reading and calligraphy, he knows what plants to use to heal injury and illness. He knows that he's terrible at talking to strangers under normal circumstances but in the event of an emergency or life threatening situations he's the first to take charge and just go.
Post color: #6633FF
Family: Mother: Umryil, banished when Ismirl turned 11 Father: Unknown, deceased Step-Father: Kowan, banished, Orderite
Half Siblings- Umil, female, aged 6, banished Tokra, male, aged 3, banished
History: Ismiril's father died when he was very young, or so his mother Umryil told him whenever he asked. The truth of the matter is that Umryil refused to name the man who sired him, as he was already bonded to someone else and had a thriving family. Ismiril was the product of a moment of weakness and too much drink, and not once did Umryil regret conceiving him. As it was it was all too easy to fib just who his father was, as there were many reports of dragons attacking the small settlements outside of the safety of the city.
But Umryil wasn't always...healthy... mentally. Growing up Ismiril would often find himself held tightly to a parent who seemed terrified of everything and everyone, others he would go for days without seeing her. He learned to be self sufficient and to only rely on himself as his mother wasn't able to care for him, let alone herself. But he didn't hate her. When she was there she taught him everything he needed to know to survive. He could cook, clean, heal, and mend things by the age of 5. He couldn't afford to be as clumsy as his steadily growing body demanded and so forced himself to adjust so that his movements were graceful, if odd on the small child.
Then his mother came home shortly after his fifth birthday, with the news that he'd have a sibling soon, and a father. Ismiril was delighted. He didn't care that his new father was an Orderite or that he didn't have horns and looked different. Kowan cared for him and took the fact that Ismiril prefered the tighter fitting clothing worn by women in stride. It wasn't his place to judge the child nor try to mold him into something that he wasn't.
Soon Umil was born and the family had to leave the cities outskirts. The girl thankfully looked more like a Dovaa than an Orderite, but questions would arise and they couldn't afford it. The place they moved to was small and so long as Kowan was seen as strictly a 'friend' the family would be alright. But when Tokra was born the happy life was shattered. Umryil and Kowan knew it would happen one day, and that day had come. Tokra was born with the coloration of his father, pale blue tinged skin and hair the color of the sky with a set of stubby curved blue-ish horns. His existence was quickly found out and the family banished. Only Ismiril was kept as Umryil kept insisting that he was adopted, that he was her sisters child and a full blooded Dovaa.
He was returned to the city, to the place where the orphans lived, and this is where his story starts.
