Personality/Short: At a glance: Illystria doesn't exactly understand how most of the outside world works. Her solid work ethic keeps her out of most trouble, but if one trips the triggers that send her into a fury she has no issue with taking blows and dishing out more than she can handle. To those that don't know her she is quiet, to those that get to know her she is friendly, and those who gain the inner circle of her trust get to know exactly how far the rabbit hole goes. She detests being cooped up, but she will put herself through it for her favored activity of reading. "Good lord you make me sound like some dreary mouse....Where's the sense of adventure? The real nitty gritty of WHO I am?" ......"Oh wait...we're supposed to let them know as we go on...Heh..."Likes: Books, Sleeping in trees, sunlight, moonlight, dancing, and chatting with what she likes to call "pretties." Dislikes: Betrayal, those who don't pull their own weight, being looked down on. "Are we going to get somewhere with this, or are you simply going to skim my surface? Come on, we have to let them know a little bit more, right?"Down the rabbit hole:Illystria though she does not know who her mother is, feels that she strongly resembles her in attitude. Never one to back down, she rises to the challenges that others give her, does her best, and tries to get it done the first time. She has a unique sense of hatred for the word failure, as this is all she was called by her father. Thusly it is one of the things that triggers her sadistic and ruthless temper. Once she is truly angered, her words become venomous, filled with poisonous phrases that tend to rend others emotions at the time. If words are not enough to get whoever it is to leave her alone, she will escalate, though she is not the strongest, she is rather fast, and through her rather distinctly troubled background, she has found that she is able to take more pain than most humans. Fatal injuries to her spine would likely stop her, but anything less than permanent damage to her spine or brain is unlikely to keep her down. In her mind, Illystria often feels as though she has something she has forgotten, and is searching for. She does not remember a thing about her mother, and her father's words of her are often scathing, as the "Hussy who ran off to leave him with three wretched brats." When she catches a glimpse of something that triggers a memory, she shuts down completely. her body crumbling, and her eyes blanking out. Something with her mother having been traumatic, but she is unsure why it triggers like this. For the most part she avoids things that trigger those...memories. Happiness is something that Illystria can fake very well. She can paste on a smile as bright as the sun, but the truth is she is unsure as to what happiness is. It baffles her, though she hides it. Unsure of how to respond to others, she simply imitates their happy look, with no knowledge of how to actually feel that emotion. As to not being sure how the real world works, She was in some ways sheltered by her father, in other ways it was more like being secluded from society. Though she has adapted more recent years with the need to take care of her siblings, she still is somewhat confused by how freely others express things towards their parents, or how other families interact as she was sure that hers was the basis. In many ways she felt being of a lower class she would never be able to raise her head, and feel respected, however, with her powers growing, her ability to see past what was done in her small world and understand more of the world around her she is beginning to see that the way the real world works is much easier than what she thought it would be. "Oh now that is nice. Though you forgot that I'm not just a sadist when I'm angry, I like to show affection by little bits of pain...since it's the way Father dearest showed affection to me."

Short Biography/background: "Do I have to write this bit out? It's not exactly..." Shrugs, "Well, better to get it out now, right?"Being of a rather dubious background, Illystria isn't sure exactly who or what her mother was. She knows her father is a good for nothing, and likely drunk off magic permanently, so she was able to raise herself, and her two siblings fairly well. At her current age she shows great promise in the magical areas, though she swears that it's only a small gift and nothing more. Wishing to train and perhaps find a way to really make herself known, in order to take care of herself and her family. (Not her father.) She was born under a full moon, and some say that the moon phases affect her personality, or perhaps her whims. No one's ever actually witnessed a change, but being from her family the whole town she lived in, believed it. The longer History: Illystria's earliest memories are those of her father striking her across the face for being a "No good dirty little wretch, just like your mother." This is from when she was about six. She has no real recollection of her mother as the woman disappeared before her sixth birthday just after having had Illystria's youngest sibling. Illystria's father was depressed seemingly to start with, though the memories are hazy, and soon after she was the one receiving physical and mental thrashings from her father's seemingly unquenchable rage. If she did not clean properly she was to receive punishment, if she did not keep her siblings safe, she was punished. Every responsibility of a parent was thrust upon the child at an age where she had no understanding of how the world was supposed to work, so this was the way it worked. As she grew older, the anger seemed to subside, though the lashing out at her was something that still happened. She took care of her siblings, hid her secret, and kept anyone her own age at bay by seeming unapproachable, aloof, and scary. Anyone knowing her secret would result in only trouble for herself. She continued on through her primary years, and tried to stay out of the sight of anyone who might spot anything, not wanting to incur the wrath of her father. Sadly on a midsummer's day, Illystria found that she had an inclination for magic. Nothing massive, simply an odd power to create a flame, the flame shifted and changed, creating a beautiful butterfly, it danced around her, as she watched in awe, thinking that she would love to keep the little flame she reached to grab it, the flame shifted danced down her arm and through her body, magic flowing all at once. She laughed happily, the power of it the first time she'd ever felt such a sensation. Then her face fell, someone had seen her and they were running off...her father would know...she would be... As she neared her house, she found several of the locals talking with her father who looked irate. She heard slightly as she hid in the bushes, that her mother had been a good witch, a strong one, and it was high time that her eldest went to the academy like the mother had wanted should she show any inclination. The punishment that night was a terrible one. Her siblings tried to defend her, but she shut them away. That morning after it all, Illystria packed her things and left, a small warning leaving her lips. "You will take care of them, or when I return, I will burn you and the house to ashes." Her father simply scoffed and slammed the door in her face. Now, she is here to prove herself, praying she makes it, to make a better life for her siblings, and perhaps herself as well.

Magic Flutter flame: This is a small fire that takes the shape of a butterfly. it is nothing more than a pretty flame, not really anything that can do damage, unless she decides to set it in someone else's hair. It is more so a decorative spell at current, also the flame only lasts for at most 2 hours. Fluttering Swarm: A much stronger version of her Flutter flame, a large number of her flame butterflies. This has actual offensive applications, though it is hard to command.Other stuff to come as I figure it out.

Plots Wait...what's a Majin?
Illystria has never (to her knowledge) known a Majin, or ever seen one. SO with that little fact, I'd love for her to run into one. Witch Eaters welcome(Though I'd prefer her not be eaten. >.<) [Kian] Just eat me already.
This is after Illystria finds out about Majin, which until coming to the academy she did not know about. Falling in with a witch eater or a majin who is destined to be a witch eater, she asks why not just eat her now? [Kian possibly] Damsel in...Distress?A possible plot where someone gets the wrong idea about her conversing with a witch eater and feels she needs to be saved. Marked? What?Illystria finds that there is a mark on her that is abnormal in her mind, as she did not have it in her life previously. Curiosity is abound as she tries to find out what the mark is. (there's a lot to this one that I won't put here.) More to come as I figure them out. also Some of these might already sorta be in the works. >.>;;;; I have to double check with peeps.
