"Thank you all students of Amityville, and welcome to the Clan of Conquest." They bowed, politely. "I will explain your stay here. While we are close to the Imperial palace, all sections leading to the Imperial quarters are off limits, patrolled day and night by guards. That is, any area leading to-" And here, they pointed towards the tallest building in the center of the city- "the center of our esteemed realms. Please treat everyone with respect, this is an important virtue in our clans. You will have one day to explore the area, and I will guide you now to your temporary dorms now so you can rest and orient yourselves. Starting tomorrow, you will begin the first of your classes and training field exercises. You will have free time to explore various sanctioned vicinities after your studies, of course. Now, are there any questions regarding your stay here related to any of the above instructions?" OOC - Your student now has clearance to various areas in the Clan of Conquest! The first of note is the dorm rooms, where students can go to interact with any other students in this subforum/ clan - Next, if students wish to explore the area/ break into PRPS/ their own ORPs, there are designated areas they can visit. - After 24 hours of exploring around, the CLASSROOMS and TRAINING FIELDS will open up, which students can also explore as well. TRAINING field exercises can be taken DAILY (you can choose one out of all the training field exercises per OOC DAY/ 24 hours), classes will be updated approx every 24 OOC hours by a GM, with homework to complete for points. - Once again, all rules are here if you have any questions on how things operate. - BE SURE to read the general information on the Isle of Conquest so you have a good idea of the setting! All information here is OOC knowledge, for now. - If your student is exiting this thread/ ANY threads, be sure to note it with an ENTER and EXIT post. Feel free to post a reaction in this one before EXITING.

Of course, considering her own lineage, it was probably pretty obvious why she was immediately fond of the Conquest Isle. The minute she stepped through the portal, she was taken aback by the sheer...well, tranquility. The water, the flowers--everything was really quite beautiful. Though she had initially been quite nervous about what this exchange program would entail, she felt her tense shoulders relax slightly as she scanned her new surroundings.
She listened to the attendant silently, her pink eyes obediently following their movements as they pointed out towards buildings and gave them a few details on what their stay would be like. However, the moment they were done speaking, her attention wandered again as she took in whatever sights she could.
The urge to explore was absolutely overwhelming, but...well, first off, perhaps it would be wise for her to actually figure out who else would be her class. Tearing her gaze away from the scenery, the baku turned around to face the other students, cocking her head tot he side. Hmmm, let's see...any familiar faces...?

[ENTERING]Willow's tail flickered as she stopped among the jade pavilion, her jaw almost dropped looking at the scenery. It was almost like home. Willow was biting the inside of her lip, remembering what the lady had said about not asking questions.
Though she was itching to ask about the possibility of coming back. Their heritage, the structures, the people!! There was no way she could learn it all in a week, to appreciate it for such a short amount of time was almost criminal. However the tigress held her question, perhaps she could catch Invi or one of the other heirs and ask them about the potential. There was a pause though as she finally thought of a more appropriate question, than could she live here.
A hand raised before giving a bow and looking to their guide. "If I may inquire, is there a dress code we must adhere too?" The Byakko didn't want to be walking around in, inappropriate attire the whole time they were here.

An immense sickening feeling washed over Faustus as he first stepped onto the pavillion. There was water - everywhere. He suddenly wondered why he had signed up for this class. A floating pond had been the last thing he expected from a clan calling themselves 'Conquest'. Despite that, the area was actually quite calm, the air fresh and sickly sweet from all the lotus flowers mingling beyond the pavilion edges. The flame demon nonetheless hurried himself to the nearest marble bridge, easing carefully down onto the cool stone as he waited for the rest of his class to arrive. He tried to stare anywhere but into the water ... But wait, was that!??! ... The most gorgeous school of fish he had ever saw caught his attention. They floated through the clear water, almost seeming to be flocking to the newcomers, and the bright blue sky above caused their scales to shimmer in a way that oddly fascinated him ... maybe this wouldn't be all bad ...

Well at least these people seemed a bit nicer and less foreboding than Arel and the other horseman had sounded. Raziel listened carefully, making mental notes of where they could and could not go. After the speaker was done, Raziel just glanced around, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone he didn't know, but still wanting to find out who was there that he did know.
It didn't take long before he caught sight of Xiu, and happily walked up to her. "It seems that you fit in here quite nicely, doesn't it?" Raziel asked, a smile on his face as he came up next to her, but not in her direct vision.
It had been a while since Raziel had seen Xiu, but that was probably more his fault than her's. He hadn't been getting out much lately.

The Four Clans member raised and eyebrow at Willow. "As you are not an official Four Clans member, there is no need for you to abide to a dress code, other than to dress appropriately."

However, the longer he stared, the more ill he felt, and already quite famished and desiring a nice warm place to sleep, Faustus was all too eager to follow the attendant to the designated dorms. Sight-seeing would have to wait.

After stepping from the portal and listening a short introduction by the Clan member, Wylfenne felt themselves almost at home. Respect, rules, strict society, well, this environment shouldn't be shocking. After all, Wylfenne spent all the life learning the rules and behaving with the respect. Of course, rules are different everywhere, that's the fact Wylfenne learnt in the life, but a bit of watching and listening should work it out.
..and Wylfenne definitely loved the surrounding aesthetics: very unusual, but everything was done with a perfect sense of taste and beauty.

"Raziel!"
The baku perked up immediately upon hearing the familiar voice, a delighted expression spreading over her face as she turned to face the boil. Without any hesitation, she turned around to give her friend an enthusiastic hug.
It had been so long since she last saw him! It was also quite the relief that there was someone who she was well acquainted with on the Isle of Conquest with her. While Xiu was all for meeting new people, it was definitely a nice bonus when she already knew some of the students she would be having class with.
She drew back from the hug with a laugh, turning to give their surroundings another quick scan over. "Just a little, maybe! I have to admit, I really am fond of this place so far."

It was very... tranquil here.
What an odd word.
The Púca's ears folded up in utter intrigue as the pavilion appeared, the portal forgotten as his feet felt solid ground again. "Hmm." The sound fell from his lips without thought, his tail flicking to and fro in nervous excitement. Ah, ahh, but it was a such a... reserved place. Mind your manners, A disembodied voice trilled sharply in his head, don't break anything this time. The Púca danced slightly in place before settling down into a fidgety calm as the attendant began to speak, a voice that kept his attention well, ears pricked forward like a horses, and quivering all the while.
He hardly even looked around and around until the attendant asked if there were any questions. Ah, so shiny, so intriguing. Shallow water all around, and movement in the ponds as well. Hmm. Suddenly aware that he'd started out with two playthings and now both of them were missing, the Púca turned his head from side to side, ears wavering to and fro in confusion.
"Ahh." He didn't want to lose them so quickly! And they'd said they'd be in Conquest too, hadn't they...? "Dev? Bon?"
Fallow paused and bent his head, snickering slightly.
"Hmmmm, Bonbon."
Ahh, a new nickname, but the freshly nicknamed wasn't even here! Damn.

Oh Bongani was there alright. If fact, he was barely a handful of steps behind Fallow. He hadn't seen Dev yet, but then they were in a large group of people. She might not even have made it to the island yet. However, be that as it may, Bongani was NOT about to let Fallow get away with that nickname. He supposed shoving the puca into the nearest pond wasn't an option. Pity.
Instead, Bon stalked up directly behind Fallow, all but seething. Oh, how he hated touching. He'd avoid it until necessary and unfortunately one insult was not touch inducing. A threat would have to do. "You even try calling me that and I'll rip your limbs from your body," Bongani growled, his voice deadly soft as he said the words into Fallow's ear. It was mostly posturing, but Fallow didn't know that, right?
Still miffed, Bongani stepped back in hands hidden in his sleeves again. "And I have not seen Dev. She might not have made it through yet." He shrugged, not worried in the least. They'd all be together eventually.

Lailah had stumbled through the portal, and landed body first on the solid grounded. With such little momentum, she suffered little impact. Luckily, she was not injured.. though if she had stop to think about it, it would be difficult for ghost to be injured. But her mind was filled with other things. Mainly shame and embarrassment. Falling face-first was definitely not the way to make an first impression, especially in front of the clan leader. Tears gathered in her eyes, though she resisted the urge to cry.
it was only the first day, after all! It could be better.. or worse.
Negative thoughts again! With a violence shake of her head, "Nonononono!" She willed herself to think positively. She needed to look forward, or in this case.. up. Lifting her head, the sight that greeted her was breath-taking. Lailah's eyes widened in awe at the tranquil, beautiful surroundings.
It was almost enough to make her forget herself. "T-this is.. conquest?"

Dev would enjoy her stay with the Conquest Clan, she could tell. Although she was unaccustomed to the scenery of shallow water and aquatic life, she definitely appreciated the sense of tranquility the isle offered. The architecture was ornate, filled with details the ghoul would have loved to have observed right then and there, but she convinced herself that it was important to pay attention to the horseman in the room. She spent a few more seconds examining the scenery before tearing her gaze away and back toward the room and the other occupants. Students were still filing in when she swept her gaze across the area, taking in the other occupants before her glowing eyes caught sight of a pair of familiar boils. Dev’s tail swished to and fro briefly before she quietly trekked toward Fallow and Bongani.
She burst into a pleased grin when she heard the puca call out her name just as she strolled behind him. The demon tapped on one of his shoulders and playfully shifted to the opposite direction of wherever Fallow chose to look. “Ahm right behind ye.” Dev quirked an eyebrow at the mention of bonbon. “Is ‘at yer new name fur th’ Bongani?” One of her ears twitched, focused on the attendant’s each and every word. Her expression turned serious at the mention of respect. She nodded once. Yes, she could understand the importance of respect. It was a virtue upheld in her pack at home as well. Dev slipped back into a grin when she heard about classes and exploring. Excellent. "Now, now, Bongani. Nae need fur violence." Her smile suggested that perhaps she wouldn't mind seeing some violence for entertainment. "Wonder where 'at other ghoul is."

With a foomp! she felt herself nearly trip as she came through, propelled by her attempt to catchup to the others she had barely encountered. Teetering on her tiptoes she calmed herself and fell back happily on her feet, secured back to the ground. Her ears twitched at the lack of sound and she glanced outward towards the gleaming reflection of the pool.
Shell-shocked at the lack of sound versus the plethora of sound only moments earlier she found the clacking of her shoes as she wandered the group to be unnerving. Half-listening to the attendant and hopping closer to the one who had spoken to her before, she reached out a slender hand and pulled at his tail with a simple, quick tug.
Toothily she grinned up towards him. "Found you, found you!" She repeated happily while her ears bounced with her body. The rabbit had yet to see the other and blinked as the other figure came into view. "Such anger." Alamea muttered with a pout before bouncing back to attention to Fallow. "Sorry about before, I didn't have a snack and when I don't have a snack I zone out and when I zone out I'm slow!" She continued on hurriedly, taking in a deep breath before blowing a quiet raspberry.
"Anyways, sorry sorry! I'm Alamea or Mea for short... or just a friend if you have a snack." She said with a grin. "So who are you?"

Flicking an ear backwards towards the sound of footsteps, Fallow's head turned, only to come face to face with - ahh, this wasn't good, was it? - a seething witch doctor. Huffing against the others cheek, or close enough to it for the Púca, Fallow folded his ears backwards at the threat, shuddering like a horse from head to toe. "Hmm." Prickling a bit under the imminent danger in Bongani's words, the Púca managed to shake his head a bit and leaned into and against the other, privately counting the seconds before he was dropped. Nickname number one squandered, he turned his head enough and peered back at the reaper, eyes glowing just as brightly as they'd been in the auditorium. "Bon - ah - gani. Alright, okay. Hello again. You are very warm."
A familiar voice managed to - probably - save him from imminent death, and Fallow straightened immediately when Dev appeared, a carnivorous grin splintering across his ace. "Oh! There she is. Hihello." Managing to nearly prance his way over to her, the Púca rumbled happily, tail flicking from side to side in obvious satisfaction at his two friends making it here. When questioned with the nickname, Fallows ears nearly comically fell as far as they could go. "Ah. No. No, he does not like it hmm. Bon - ah - gani is very fine anyways. Very fine." Reeling backwards and nearly into Bongani, the Púca smiled, content for now with the two surrounding him. "Yes, I need my limbs - aaah - as much as you need yours. Maybe."
And then - "Ha - AH!"
Tail.
Tail being touched.
The Púca's head jerked up like he'd been electrocuted.
Tail aaaaaah.
"Who are y -- oh." Turning around to the petite girl, his tail swished around as though particularly miffed all on its own accord. "Rabbit. Hello. Yes, you found me. Now we can talk, yes." Folding over as though to make himself smaller for her sake, Fallow grinned. "Ahhh, you should eat hmm. I'm sure there will be food at... somewhere." His tail paused uncertainly. Food where? Well... he'd just have to explore to find out, he supposed. After all, food was good. Especially in foreign lands.
"Hmmhmm. Hello. I am Fallow, aah. I don't have snacks though. Can't feed you. Yet." Rumbling deep in his throat, the Púca's ears curved back in mild concentration. "That is Bon - ahhhh - gani." Unfortunately, saying the second part seemed to be harrowing to Fallow now. Brain full of sawdust, check. He gestured to the witch doctor, and then to the Cu Sith. "And that is Dev. They are ahhh - " Mine, "friends."
Another shark toothed grin, another high-pitched laugh.
"Shall we be friends too?"
