At the very far end, a long distance away from the Imperial Palace, is a long set of stairs leading into a sharp incline. At the very top of the stairs is the students resting quarters. Each room is separated only by a thin paper wall, the floors and ceiling made out of a soft, pliable wood. The key here is to not damage anything. The rooms themselves only have a bamboo mat: essential and basic. It can be easily assumed that the Clan of Conquest considers students the lowest of their ranks. The area outside the building is actually larger, the dorms themselves seated on a cliff that overlooks the rest of the Imperial palace. With only natural lighting, it can get dim, though it also creates a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

There are two Imperial soldiers standing on guard at the quarters: it is important to keep quiet and not attract attention. A series of trees, what look like peach and cherry blossoms proudly decorate the otherwise humble dormitories outside.

Willow walked into the dorms and looked around it was... homey enough. The walls were thin, and she paused as she looked at the mat that was in her room. She couldn't say that she wasn't slightly disappointed she couldn't use her natural form, it'd be a lot more comfortable for sleeping as she sighed and sat on the mat looking around the room.

It was quiet,quiet was good. Her tail flickered softly as she closed her eyes. Letting the tranquility settle over her.

And then the peace ended. She sighed, standing up and straightening her Qipoa and then moved out of her paper room and into the one where the boil was having trouble.

Her hands found his shoulders and she steadied him. "Woah there boil." She said looking at him, "Stand still for a second."

Her ears twitched as she observed the damage done to the room. That was going to be impossible to repair without getting new paper. Her tail twitched as she looked at him. "Hi, I'm Willow." She introduced herself after a second and the observation of the damage.

She was attempting to keep him still as possible. "Do you want help in learning how to navigate this stuff?" She asked her ears perked up in curiosity.

Willow watched as the other's lip started to quiver, her ears tucking back suddenly, "Hey... there's no need to cry." She said softly smiling at him. "These aren't as bad as they seem. They're just like...." She paused what would be a good thing to compare it with? He sorta seemed dressed like a doctor.

Her eyes lit up as she thought of something, "They're just like fragile bones... you've seen corridivus bones right? How they splinter if you're not careful with them?" The walls were pristine white surely this would work for a connection.

"You have to slow down, take it easy. Like you're working on a... project. Yes a project. One wrong move and you've completely ruined it right?" The tigress looked hopeful. "Now just stand still for a second, take a second, close your eyes and breathe in and out. Calm down. You can't work if you're all shaky."

Of course if this didn't work maybe she could locate some cider and calm him down that way.

This place really was quite beautiful.

Xiu felt, needless to say, as if she were in her own element. While the rooms would not appeal to some, she knew, the simplicity of them was actually quite refreshing to her. It reminded her of home, and while she was really very happy with her current home in Amityville, a part of her did miss her traditional little house. The gardens, the rooms--everything here reminded her of the modest, Asian-styled house that she had grown up in.

Of course, it was obvious that they would have to take the utmost care while residing in these rooms. The walls that divided each section was made of rather delicate looking paper. So delicate, in fact, that it would only take a light, accidental nudge to--

The baku froze when she heard a light tearing noise from behind her, followed by the voices of two students. She turned very slowly to face the other students, her brows shooting upwards as she realized that she actually knew one of them. Xiu cringed slightly as poor Valentino ripped through one of the paper walls. And then another.

And then--

Oh Jack, the clan of Conquest was going to kill them. Fortunately, it appeared that another student--one who looked vaguely familiar--was attempting to give him some pointers. Hoping that it would help, Xiu turned to look at one of the ghouls nearby--Olivia--and offered her a small smile. "I suppose we'd best be careful here. Don't want to destroy this place by the end of the first day."

Close his eyes? Take deep breathes? Think about gentile delicate movements? What were students these days learning? What did they think of him as, a doctor of healing? Valentino was a boil of science! Where once Valentino had felt sad, a wave of nausea was now sweeping over him. Dark vile words such as patience creeped up into his mind, threatening to poison his thoughts. By fire and brimstone and all that was fun, yet slightly frowned upon by the authorities, Valentino would be no nurturing nannying nice nurse!

Steadying himself, and adding another hole in the wall, Valentino rose a little to quickly, creating a new door into the next room. It did not matter however for Valentino, he was no longer afraid of these thin walls, he was fine with everyone hearing him, for his words were mildly important.

"I will not stoop to any level of caution, it is unbecoming for a boil such as I." with that said, Valentino turned and saw Xiu and anther ghoul staring at him.

This was bad, very bad, now he could be identified, Xiu, having recently removed Val's arm, was not to be trifled with. Seeing her brought strange signals to Valentino's brain, mostly cold fear and a dull ache on his newly reattached arm, but something warm as well, maybe terror?

Seeing as he was practically surrounded, Valentino knew that for his own safety he had to escape. His pathways were blocked, Valentino tried to think of a way out. Turning, Valentino took a long look at the window, wondering if his room faced the cliff or the courtyard.

Willow's ears flicked back as she stared at him unhappily. "We were told to respect the people here. We are visitors and in their house we play by their rules. Which means as unbecoming as it may be. You should do very well not to get us kicked out on the first day." Willow scolded.

"Would you want to ruin the trip for everyone Valentino?" She was stern with her words her hands moving to her hips as she watched him. She then turned and shrugged, "If you want to fail then so be it, it's by no means my place to stop you from looking like a fool in front of the clan. I hope you're okay with making everyone else look bad as well."

She hoped that would kick some sense into the stubborn boil. She looked at Xiu giving a bow to her and Olivia. "My apologies for any rudeness, some boils are beyond rational help it would seem." Willow perhaps would've shown him something to be worried about if it wasn't for the fact her natural form was on lock down.

There was no way that they'd be able to cover up this many holes, and even if the horsemen of Conquest were feeling generous enough not to kill them, she was certain that Arel would be none too pleased to hear what had happened. Especially not after that speech about being respectful and being very, very careful while they were doing this exchange.

Xiu sighed as Valentino's words reached her ears, and it was with a frown that she turned to look at him. She remained silent as the tiger ghoul scolded the zombie--she had the right idea--and Xiu simply offered her a small smile and a shake of her head at the apology. "Why are you apologizing? It's no--" She cut herself off, frowning as her gaze flickered back towards the undead boil... Just where was he looking?

She looked at Valentino.

She followed his gaze to the window.

"No, Valentino!" Voice firm, she hurried towards him, reaching out in an attempt to grab the back of his shirt just in case he got any funny ideas. She just hoped that he wouldn't leap out of the window before she had a chance to grab him.
