To prevent people from cluttering the RP threads with too many RNGs and dice rolls I've created a thread specifically for it. Please be specific and say what you're rolling for in each post. Linking to and from that post is also helpful.
Remember: You ARE allowed to RNG IN the RPs but you MUST say what each RNG/Dice Roll is for. That means if you roll ten six-sided die you have to say by order of first to last what each die is being used for.
To determine if a move hits or misses use the RNG function Gaia provides. Make sure the RNG's set to land between 1 and 100. Use the accuracy values from the game. If you roll a number equal to or less than the accuracy number of the move, it hits - anything else is a miss (so a move with an accuracy of 75 would hit on a 1-75 and miss on a 76-100). One-hit-knock-out moves (OHKOs) must have numbers between one and thirty. No exceptions. Accuracy debuff moves will lower the accuracy of all moves used by ten each time they're used.
Aura Sphere and other never miss moves naturally will not miss though there are some moves or abilities that will allow you to dodge even that. Swift can hit anything but Pokemon hidden with Shadow Force. Aerial Ace can hit flying foes. Two turn moves that pull you off the main playing field (Dig, Fly, Dive, et cetera) are immune to almost all types of attacks excluding things that can hit it even there like Thunder with Fly or Earthquake with Dig.
Remember that Abilities can affect attacks so Leer won't hurt someone with Clear Body.
Please remember that the RNG idea is only for people who think that doing so will make the RPing more fair. If the crew members see or have someone come to them complaining about someone being unfair in a battle then the RNG system will be a mandatory occurance until the battle ends.
