From Route 1 Adventures Chael got up after a moment's rest. Argos racing Fear up and down the route. That was certainly a sight. He whistled once and they soon rejoined him. Hmmm. They'd need a few more party members if they wished to stand a chance against other trainers, let alone gym leaders. "So let's see. The next badge is for flying type, no? So we should catch an electric type, so we'll have a member with an advantage. Believe it or not I'd also like a bug. They tend to be deadly fast." he said to his Pokemon. A patch of grass was shuffling in the distance. What was it? Well, he'd be sure to find out soon enough. Getting up, he gently walked across the tall grass. This one might not be a new member so he'd be prepared to just knock it out. 4

Chael would soon find none other than... a Skitty. An uncommon Pokemon but easily found none the less. "Quick Attack." he said to Fear who ran into the cat at an amazing speed. The Skitty giggled as she whacked Fear's head with her tail. The Ratatta cringed, then Chael face palmed. The cat knew Fake Out. Luckily it would only work once. "Tail Whip!" he commanded and Fear whipped her tail back and forth, distracting the Skitty. Argos jumped in front of her and shot a blast of water at the Skitty who was blown far back into another patch of grass.
"Well that was... unexpected. You learned Water Gun then? Good, let's be off." Chael said as he walked further down the road.

Now there was a Starly in the way. The trio probably walked into his turf and by the looks of it, he didn't like that. Not one bit. Lifting itself in the air it chased the trainer in the form of Tackle. Only Chael did not move. Instead, Argos lept and slashed the bird down with a swift Scratch. The bird got up only to be Tackled by Fear. It moved its wings but soon fell unconscious. A bored look on his face he left it where the bird lay and walked away. Argos and Fear soon followed behind.
This was a relatively quick battle, meaning only one thing. It was time to move onward towards the next route. He had stayed long enough and needed a challenge. Defeating a weaker foe was in short... boring. Just like this match. However he'd stay for one more and one more only.

A sign reading Route 2 was in front of Chael. There was also a Sentret, who's eyes turned to hearts when he saw Fear. She hissed but the loverboy started walking towards her. Argos walked over and gave the Sentret a shove but Mr. Loverboy returned that with a Tackle! And thus the match began. Argos used Water Gun, blowing the Sentret into the sign. Damp and still in love the normal normal type made kissey faces to Fear, who used Tail Whip before nodding to Argos.
Argos leapt and started bashing the Sentret with countless Scratches. Chael stood, watching this for about 10 seconds before saying "Halt." Argos frowned and stopped his fun. Walking to the unconscious Sentret, Chael moved his foot and pushed him to the side of the route. Well at least they made it across their 1st route. A small victory in his head, the trainer stood still on the first route.

Chael stood at the edge of the first route, reflecting. Then a furry little mammal nudged his leg. An Eevee!? Those things were rarely seen at all. In fact he had never even heard of someone owning one. Well,... for now at least. Fear jumped and used Tackle, knocking the evolution Pokemon over. It growled and Tackled her right back. "Water Gun." Chael said as Argos joined in and spit a large quantity of water at the furry normal type. Receiving another Tackle from Fear the Eevee found a Pokeball being dropped on his body....

Taking a single breath, Chael took his first step onto Route 2. It was a whole new ball game here. Speaking of new, he sent out his Eevee and sprayed him with a Potion. Most of his wounds were healed for now. The trainer would have to go to a Pokemon Center after getting to Blyse City. The youngster needed a name as well... Tsuki. It meant moon and Chael had heard about a Dark type evolution Eevees had. "So you like the name Tsuki?" he asked as the newcomer smiled and jumped on his head. This was probably a yes.
A few more yards away he decided to take a break. After catching some team members and fighting some others he decided a rest would be well deserved.

In the distance was a tanish creature with a large plank of wood in his arm. Curious, Chael had never seen one. Walking over he said "Tsuki, use Tackle!" The Eevee jumped off his head and rammed into the Timburr. He swung his plank across but Tsuki ducked just in time. Then he lunged and used Tackle once more. The Timburr finally got him and Pounded him with his plank. Argos stepped in and slashed it across the chest with Scatch. Raising an eyebrow, Chael flicked a Pokeball at the fighting type. Only time would tell if they caught it.

Chael sent out their latest member. "I'll call you Bruce." he said to the Timburr, who looked at his new team mates. Well it'd be useless to stop here so they continued onward.
He kept all of his Pokemon out of their Pokeballs. It felt more naturally and would hopefully intimidate any idiots who wished to battle him. True they just started but Chael could feel the makings of greatness within them. All he had to do wax guide and instruct them. All four following behind in a square another patch of grass shuffled. With that he walked towards it...

Chael saw in the patch was none other than...... a Shellos? A pink, squishy snail. Lovely. Deciding not to harm it he walked away. "C'mon guys we just need to find one more to be ready team-wise." Chael commented as he started scanning the area. He was looking for a Blitzle, an uncommon sight here. Then he'd save an open slot for any newcomer he'd meet on his journey. Argos chomped Fear's tail who proceded to whack him, playfully. Tsuki remained on his head while Bruce assisted his trainer in looking around.

Chael soon found himself in the midst of a lone Blitzle. She was stunning as she trotted along her merry way. Behind her Bruce leapt onto onto her back, like a cowboy. Yee-haw! She whinnied and jumped around, trying to shake him off. Argos got in front of her and doused her with a Water Gun. The water loosened Bruce's grip and he fell off. With a quick swing he brought his plank onto her side, knocking her over.
She got up and met Fear, Quick Attack on Quick Attack. In the end she was left more hurt than the mouse. Chael took out a Pokeball and threw it.

Chael sent outbid newly caught Blitzle, Elizabeth. Well it was Lizzy for short. now he had an almost concrete team. Only one more to go. Why've like to preset his team at the beginning of his journey. It provided more time for them to get to know one another. He felt like he had his own small militia in his service. Argos, Fear, Tsuki, Bruce, and Lizzy.
"Well," Charl said to the five ", I guess we can stay a little longer to train. Then... We'll challenge the gym and get that Aero Badge!" The boy looked towards the road. His father was out there in Etrua and this boy was going to get some answers.

Chael soon found himself at the entrance to the Gabron ruins. A sign pointing back where he had came read 'to Blyse City.' then had a wing insignia next to it. He face palmed. He' have to backtrack to get his first badge, as it seemed. Well no worries he had caught a pretty good team on the journey here. The journey back would just refine them. Like a diamond in the rough.Turning around Chael sighed as he started marching back the way he came.

Chael stumbled upon a Purrlion, yet another feline. It hissed and lunged at he boy, who took a step back. Argos lunged and starte repeatably beating on the Purrlion. "Stop." Chael said, but Argos did not listen. Instead he kept bashing his arms on the cat. "Stop!" Chael shouted but as before, he gained no response. Eventually the trainer was forced to return his Totodile. The cat lay unconscious and barely alive, bruises and cuts all over. As it appeared Argos just learned Rage. A move that the boy would have to take caution if he eve decided to let Argos unleash it.
Putting the Purrlion in the grass, Chael sent out Argos. "You need to control that blood lust. I don't want to risk you going in a frenzy every match." was all he said before continuing back down the route.

Chael soon saw a Marill, waddling about. Being from Johto he had grown accustomed to seeing them. It hopped along and jumped into a pond, to enjoy its day. Having a water type already and no Pokeballs he let it be. They normally werent hostile. Unless provoked that was. Fear looked at him, to as if they could fight it. "No," he said ", let it be." Then he continued down the route. They were almost at the halfway point for route 2. So almost a quarter way! God, would he get bored soon. And tired.

Chael continued walking, Pokemon in tow. Argos was to his right, looking straight forward. The trainer wondered how he got so many scars. At least two on each part of his body. He probably tried fighting stronger foes. The boy would probably never be completely sure. Fear was to his right, sniffing about. Curious as always. Tsuki was still on his head, clinging. Probably just more than a babe. A for Bruce, he was riding Lizzy in front of the group like a cowboy. His plank remained in his tight grip as they trotted along.
Chael realized he'd need a bird on his team. A means to fly around. Well they didn't have the HM yet so there was no need to worry. Not yet at least.
