 Hill-Strider is not a fan of males. Well, let's be clear: She doesn't DISLIKE them. In fact, she prefers to be friendly with them instead of females who don't reciprocate her feelings. But she's never actually had a male as a mate. This needs to change. Come with me on a magical adventure, to find Hill's perfect mate for a one-time edited breeding! This contest will end on March 1st, 2012, at 6pm EST.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Male
-Colors that compliment Hill-Strider's
-Markings that would create an interesting combination with her own
-A personality that would work well with her own
MUST BE WILLING TO RP THEIR MEETING WITH ME. It can take a month or two while we wait for an edited slot to open up, but a) I want to RP it out, and b) I want to have as many babies as possible in her litter so that lots of people can benefit.
WOULD LIKE TO SEE:
-Edits, especially other hair edits
-Doting fathers, since she will have very little motherly instincts of her own
-Any type of male! You don't have to enter a Kio for her, Kimeti and Acha (and Totoma and Zikwa) are all welcome!
YOU WILL GET:
-First pick of the babies in her litter
-Bragging rights
-The satisfaction of knowing you helped add more gorgeous edited Kio to the Matope world

Personality: Shadowed Moon is a very nice kin; gentlemanly, extremely gentle and very kind. Though occasionally acting a bit child-like he's rather mature as well as very accepting. He's a very loving and caring father, protective over his children and often thinks fondly of family, mates, friends and acquaintances. He doesn't feel the need to push anything, like commitment, on others and is happy with whatever they wish to give (or not give). Some more examples can be seen in the roleplays he's participated in, but I think I covered everything important. Personality: Starsign - The Familiar.
Likes - Poppies, brightly-colored things, birds, foals.
Dislikes - Brackish water.
Fears - Alienating others, large insects.
Strengths - Very kind, artistic, attentive. He's quick to make friends.
Weaknesses - Shy at first meeting. Can seem rather unintelligent when watching what he says. Comes off as a ditz. He's a total worrywort, too.
Habits - Tends to dig his left hoof into the dirt when he's feeling inspired.
Disposition - Gentle, Kind, Jovial, Shy, Clingy.Bright would be the sort to be insatiably curious about the kiokote in general, and trying to learn how to paint moving lines to evoke the idea of a running kin... which involves him getting to know a couple kiokote, and having someone who's patient enough to answer his questions and humor his quirks. In short, a good friend would be an ideal companion for him. And he's a sweetie and can crush on pretty much anydoe who smiles at him. He's the most child-adoring spoil-the-babbus sort of buck you'll ever see. If he's a friend, and she wants a clutch, he'd be willing to, umm, help her with that if she'd like? Though he'd take a long time to offer and be long-winded in doing so because he'd be worried about potentially wrecking their friendship by asking. Because he's smooth like that. And, it would be impossible for him to not take an interest in his own kids. Heck, he'll be so worried about raising them well that Streams of Silver, his mom, might have to step in to butt him in the side and get him to calm down a little. Previous litters: None. He's a blank slate, and is willing to have buddy-babbus with a friend. Actually, it's probably a good, low-pressure environment for him to start off with trying for kids... after all, having a mate to impress on top of everything? Wouldn't help matters for him. RPs: Prank Wars, Arranging Hearts. With Arranging hearts, it's important to note that it's currently set in the future - I'd imagine he met and had kids with her before his whole liking-Clem thing popped up.

Not submitting an official form yet because I have to talk to Pixie about this, but I'm just putting forth that Wave-Strike would looove babbies. A lot. And her brother Forked Whiskers looks pretty similar to her and would, I think, make beautiful babies with Hill. We could RP out their meeting with him and asking him to surrogate for them, if Pixie is up for it. I will PM her asap and then be back to you. ;3 EDIT: I got the okay from Pixie on this, if you're interested! She'll probably post an official form for Forked Whiskers sometime soon.

After a lot of inner debating, i've decided that the best match for Hill-Strider for this particular event would be As Bright As Can Be! Plotting shall commence shortly. :3 HOWEVER, i'd like to offer out prizes for interest to both les vagues and SerinaNight... You both will be receiving a baby from Bright and Hill's breeding. :3
