While the Heirs had made several attempts to infiltrate Deus Ex Machina beyond the walls- and only once partially succeeded - they had never been so openly invited to the center of the maelstorm before.

The room itself was set in a poor mimicry of a classroom: a long rectangular table filled with chairs decorated the center of the room, nothing less nothing more. There were no visible windows or doors, just white walls. Something buzzed above the horsemen in a constant shrilling tone: the halogen lights burning into the landscape below.

Caelius had not yet arrived, and neither had anyone else.

OOC

- Horsemen can sit /destroy/ attempt to destroy the room as they see fit, but the walls will not yield, though the furniture and chairs are rather breakable. Whether or not that achieves or upholds their end of the 'truce' is another story though, or does it really matter?
- They can also talk to each other, though it is hard to tell if indeed, anyone is watching, despite there being noone in the room. After being stuck years with the Hunters, the Horsemen Heirs know better than to trust them...

Well this was a quaint little room. If by 'quaint' he meant he wanted to tear it asunder, punching one of the walls testingly. Said wall didn't yield to his fist, so from there he left it alone, flipping over one of the chairs as he passed by it, but not taking a seat at all.

Instead, he began to pace feverishly, angrily. He was unhappy to be in such a room - though the circumstances were less than favorable in this instance. Never the less, it shouldn't have come to that, and that was what they got for letting children think they could play in the big boy games.

"Stupid.." he hissed underneath his breath, slowly riling himself up.

"Pesty~" Cymbeline crooned as she passed through the portal behind the shorter heir. "I can hear them buzzing..."

She strode over to sit on the desk closest to the smaller boil's pacing. "I can hear their thoughts, can you hear them? Like a thousand humming, buzzing insects? Little ants, carrying their leaves and scents and silly little bodies around left and right trying to communicate. Can you hear them?" The blonde might have been talking about the lights overhead, or maybe she was making an abstract reference to the many hunters that were only one classroom wall away from destruction at her hands.

Sadly, it was not a wall she could break, she knew that much without even trying. After all. If Pesty were still here, clearly there was nowhere to go but in circles!

"Connie. You're making too much noise." Aisa remarked testily, although she made no move to pick up the legs of the chair that stood rebelliously, her long legs folded over one another as she seated herself on the table. Her fingers trailed across the table, the edges of her nails running through it-- what might have caused a normal table to break in half due to the amount of fear strength that concentrated at the tips of her fingers, remained indestructible at the moment.

"They've leveled up." She commented, looking around the room that successfully contained the heirs for now .. Or perhaps, their lair had always been at this sort of level. The outer walls definitely differed from the inner walls-- They really had all the bases covered, outside and inside. Her arms crossed, one finger tapped against her elbow, listening to the seconds of an invisible mind-timed clock, tapping her heel a few times in succession. But with the third tap, it seemed that something set off the heir of Death without warning. She suddenly stood, making another chair clatter noisily to the ground.

"This white."

This ridiculous infuriating shade of white-- everything that it symbolized, like the scarlet letter, it symbolized too many and all of those symbols were just as insufferable as the room. Aisa didn't need to elaborate for the other heirs to understand her short curt words. Even within the realms of insanity, the heir of Death would not throw a tantrum. She had done so once in her life-- as prone as Cym and Eris were to doing respectable ones, Aisa's tantrum was not something that should be witnessed idly. But she wasn't far from it, which was saying something.

She would not flip tables-- Flipping tables was Cym's job.

The length the heirs had forcibly held onto to their senses was slowly unraveling-- especially Aisa's. She had held on remarkably so in the meeting they held and retained it nearly throughout the battle .. but back within the confines of hunters and their insanity runic nonsense, the academy's calming fear effect was quickly losing it's grip. She mumbled and mumbled about the room dying, red flowers and plucking golden feathers. Although one could clearly tell what those referenced to.

The lights flickered for just a brief second as a strange hissing noise filled the room: that was odd, where was it coming from? There were no vents in the roo-

- it was too bad the Heirs were entirely unconscious before they could fulfill that thought, or perhaps already too consumed by partial Insanity to care.

"Yes, Cym, the are hissing quite lo-..." Invictus was cut off as the hissing noise took over, ringing in his ears, and further more, his lungs as the Horsemen suddenly went down. If he'd had the facilities to do so, he would have been swearing. Swearing a lot.

But even that had been taken from him.

From the moment she'd stepped through the portal back to the island, War had been completely silent. Even as the others descended into madness, likely driven by their already-rising irritation for the students, Eris held completely still where she stood in one of the corners, her eyes fixated on nothing in particular across the room. There was nothing particularly agitated about her posture, no tension to knot and coil her muscles beneath her burned skin, although she held her arms loosely by the elbows, perhaps a little closer to her body than her regular stance. One hip cocked to the side, she leaned a little on one leg, away from the walls which seemed to be driving them all mad, her head tilted just slightly away from them and towards her kin.

Aisa was right -- the white was almost infuriating, and might have sent her into a tantrum, had things been different. She might have even attempted to char them black, not even to destroy, just to sooth the piercing pain of white that burned the eyes and practically bleached the skin. But not this time.

The sound of the hissing drew her attention, but Eris didn't look anything more than a little perturbed, a flicker of something sparking in her eyes. Whatever it was, it was gone as soon as the gas had fully filled the room, the horsewoman swaying on her feet before collapsing, a pile of skirts and feathers on the white tile floor.
