White walls. White walls, everywhere. Just a simple room, white walls, an annoyingly florescent white light, and a single table in the center of the room, complete with two chairs. When Eris attempted to move, she would notice she was also shackled to said table, which unfortunately made said table very unmovable as well. Trying times were these, when the Heir of the very element of War could not even win against a single table. Something crackled overhead: what sounded like a couple of voices muttering, echoing through the room before everything fell silent again.

And just like on the Island, Eris was alone.

OOC

- Eris has been confined in Interrogation Room B. She cannot leave the room, and the shackles restrict her from attacking anyone who enters - leaving a nasty sort of paralytic electric shock whenever she tries to do something unwanted.
- She is free to interact with herself and with anyone else who enters the room, as well as respond with the other player/gm prompts to her liking

At first, she thought she was blind.

The first flutters of motion were that of someone drugged, slow and uncoordinated, with the distinct sensation of 'discomfort' oozing from every small little movement. Consciousness was a mere formal definition -- the fog, far too similar to the mist of that god-forsaken island, was only just beginning to clear in her mind, allowing the first signs of any life since she had collapsed in the room Caelius had placed them in. It could have been minutes, it could have been years, although it mattered so little to the horsemen; what were a few more years, right? Yet this was not her first thought. Her first thought was not even a comprehensive one, but an instinctive one.

Open your eyes.

Eris made a little sound of uneasiness, not quite a soft little moan as she exhaled, eyebrows knitting together a bit as she closed her eyes tighter. For a little while, she ignored her first 'thought,' instead shifting a little where she was slumped, the first sensations of something tangible under her slowly beginning to unravel the lethargy of the drugs. Her fingers moved, twitching a little, still deathly black and stiff from her attack on the island -- she hadn't had the chance to heal herself before they'd left, being as tired as she had been from the wave of fire she'd hoped would have turned the master-hunter into a barbecue. Not by any command of her own, her fingers brushed gently over the cool metal beneath her palms, running over it like she were caressing a lover, gentle and slow. Only then did she finally allow her eyes to flicker open, squeezing them shut again for half a second before doing so, suddenly finding herself staring directly into the white light mounted into the ceiling. Making a slightly choked sound, War's eyes squeezed tight again, lips curling over teeth as she winced, writhing and arching off the seat, limbs twisting a little.

It wasn't enough to activate the shock, but it was enough for her to recognize the sensation of metal around her wrists, finally alert enough to recognize the sound of the shackles as she moved.

This time, when War opened her eyes, they opened to slits first, allowing herself to adjust to the stupid florescent bulbs that seemed to come standard at Deux, within a few moments able to open them completely to observe the situation. The room was not unlike the last she had been in, white and obnoxiously square, with no other really discerning properties. The table in front of her was smaller, and bolted to the floor. Someone had taken the time to set her in the only chair in the room, placing her arms on the arm rests and resting her head to one side on the back. Oh, and then shackled her in. The clever little things anticipated a struggle. Eris pursed her lips a little, lifting her head from the back of the chair to stare at the metal, not bothering to move her hands to test it out. As if they'd put her into a situation where she could escape -- she was starting to acknowledge that they were more intelligent than she would have particularly liked. Exhaling heavily, Eris looked away from the bindings, her eyes slowly scanning the room in a calculated motion.

What was a little unsettling was that she was completely alone. She had been alone on the island -- they often went on rogue missions by themselves, always reconvening at a later time, confident to the point of thinking themselves invincible that they would return -- but never like this. Never confined and alone. Never within the heart of the hunter lair and alone. The sound of something crackling overhead, perhaps a speaker, made her still-sluggish muscles tighten a bit, tensing as she flicked her eyes up towards the ceiling, but within a few seconds it was quiet once more.

Completely. Maddeningly. Quiet.

There was a light knock on the door, though why the captor of the Horsemen confining them to their rooms thought they needed permission to enter was another question, until the door opened and revealed an entirely different Hunter, a thin, mousy sort of woman with the most errant strands of hair frizzling out of her ponytail. She held a what looked like a remote control - but to what - and a very tight sort of frown.

Upon seeing only the Heir of War in the room, the woman backpedaled two steps, looked around in confusion, and pulled out her cellphone again. For the moment, it was just the two of them in the room.

"So.... hi." The Hunter finally attempted, shuffling a bit backwards despite the security of the chains imprisoning their captor. "I'm here to make sure you don't you know, burn anything down. But seeing that they already installed the chains, I guess I'm not needed so I'll... just... wait here. Peacefully."

And she stood there, peacefully for a whole five minutes before she took something from her pocket - a cigarette - fumbling to light it for a second before attempting to use smoking to alleviate the growing tension.

OOC

- Julie is waiting for the trainees to get in, once they do they can take a look around the room, and interact/communicate with each other and Julie. It is assumed the trainees were summoned here for maintenance duty, though it did not specify in the text what kind.
- In addition Eris can attempt to communicate with Julie/the trainees if she so wishes as well.

Dakota had changed his usual lazy clothing for his full uniform as he got summons for what Caelius had been talking about before, Maintenance duty? He was a little bit excited, and well hoping that whoever they were maintaining was at least pretty. Too many of the monsters had been far to ugly...except that red wolf girl. She had a nice bod about her.

Yeah yeah. He laughed, brushing the thought instantly aside.

He stopped in front of the room before knocking politely, and then opening to enter. There in front of him stood Julie, the moon hunter from the Sahara desert and across the room, at a table was what Dakota would remember as one of the horsemen.

Oh man...She's a beauty.

Doesn't sound like a bad way to go...at least at the hands of a babe, He joked.

Okay Chama hush now. He urged before looking at Julie.

"Sup boss Babe. How you feeling?" He said, attempting to ease a fellow Moon hunter's tension, looking back and forth between the two females in the room.

There wasn’t much to do on the island. Eat, train, perhaps a bit of socializing, sleep, and then repeat the cycle all over again. He had attempted to peruse through the vast collection of books the library housed, but endless streams of words could occupy his mind for so long—which was why Wilson took it upon himself to rediscover his lost love for naps.

Absolutely glorious.

Wilson had missed his procrastinating ways, way back when he hadn’t arrived on the island to take the test. What kind of normal person didn’t enjoy lazing around? It was partially why he didn’t bother to pick up his phone when it rang the first time, but then it rang again. [Youngin’, the phone’s ringing.] Adsadkflahrrrrgh. Reluctantly, he obliged. Eyes still shut, he reached out and clawed around for the phone, dragging it off the table and flipping it open. His eyes snapped wide when he realized what the message was. It was mandatory maintenance duty. What kind of things did that involve, he wondered as he slipped out of his room.

When he arrived, Wilson was relieved to see that he wasn’t the first trainee here—bonus, it was Dakota. “Hey,” he called out softly, half nodding to both moon hunters. He quirked an eyebrow as he observed Dakota flipping between Julie and War. Was he….? “I thought you weren’t into bestiality,” Wilson remarked in a steady tone, staring at the horseman’s wings. [Oh? Is that War?] He mentally shrugged.

And then, suddenly, it wasn't.

Had she been worried before, all traces of it completely disappeared as the knock suddenly echoed from the other side of the room, reverberating despite how light the sound had been in the first place. Eris' eyebrows furrowed a little in skeptical bewilderment at the sound, her eyes flicking a few other different directions as if she were trying to understand the thought process behind it before returning to the door, looking no more enlightened than she had a second ago. Even as the door swung open, the mere act of the knocking had erased any psychological warfare the hunters may have been trying to build, and War's eyebrows lifted even more skeptically as the thin little woman-hunter entered, looking quite erratic and not at all scary.

In fact, the girl looked far more intimidated by her than she was of the hunter. Which was a rather backwards situation, considering the horseman was the one bound to a table in the midst of her enemy's stronghold.

Interesting.

Eris watched the girl shuffle around the room a little with the same skeptical, almost questioning look, feeling far more at ease than she had been a few moments ago. In fact, she seemed almost amused, warm brown eyes following every little motion like a predator stalking so obvious, helpless prey. As the minutes ticked on, War's lips began to curl into a slightly... maniacal little smile, especially as the Hunter flipped open her cellphone, practically exuding an air of incompetence and inexperience and uncertainty. She couldn't attack the hunter -- that much was obvious -- but perhaps the master-hunters were not as intelligent as she'd given them credit for.

Wars were not only about the fight.

Lifting one hand from the arm of the chair, Eris rested her fingers delicately against her cheek, listening thoughtfully as the other girl spoke. It could have even been considered politely, except for the look she was giving the girl, like she would devour her whole the first chance she got, eyes never leaving the other form in the room. She waited until the very end before she made any sound at all, the very last word coaxing a little laugh from her lips. "Peace?" Eris replied, her voice even more an amused little purr, slow and sensual once again, "Of course you will."

Allowing the air to settle into silence once more, War continued to smile for the entirety of the five minutes, merely watching the girl with casual interest. When the cigarette came out, accompanied soon by a lighter, there was a flicker of distinct excitement in the horseman's eyes, growing just slightly wider as she watched the flame flick on, watching the tendrils of smoke and inhaling slowly, her eyes fluttering shut. There was a temptation growing in her gut, and she twisted a little where she sat, but ultimately retained whatever sense of control she had apparently deemed appropriate, leaving the Hunter be. For now.

So intoxicated by the smell of the smoke, Eris had not even noticed as two trainees filed in, not until their voices began to echo in the small room. Wilson's comment drew her attention away from Julie, flicking her eyes between the two boys before focusing on Dakota. Looking him up and down slowly, suggestively even, the horseman's smile took on a distinct 'come hither' look, and she lifted her hand from her cheek, becoming to him with one finger.

The other one be damned. If she had her way, he would see just how much of beast she was by the time she was through.

After the past couple of missions and talking to Julie all, Tedan was considering maybe hitting one of the obstacle courses today ... when his phone went off. Pulling it out of his pocket, he glanced at the message, then re-read it with a slight frown. Maintenance? What was that supposed to ... oh hell, hadn't Caelius mentioned something about that?

Arda put in, somewhat helpfully.

He trailed off with a little growl and just. Headed for where the message said to go. No way to find out except to go there, right?

But he wasn't at all expecting the scene that met him when he walked into the room. That was one of the Horsemen. Or Horsewomen in this case? s**t. So Caelius had ended up bringing them back ... here. Some part of him couldn't help but think 'this can't be good' but the chains were reassuring. Kind of.

"Hey, Julie ... hi guys," Tedan greeted the others that were already there, wiggling the fingers of one hand at them. "So uhm. What's this mission, exactly, anyway?"

Julie, taking perch in the furthest corner possible away from Eris, gave the trainees filing away a rather visible expression of Pure Relief. "T-trainees, nice to see you here. Ah, you've been requested to be bai- I mean clean up duty. Just try to keep the specimen under control okay, psychological warfare is only half the battle to greatness and intense stares, is what something Caelius would say. I guess."

She shrank again at the expression the Heir of War was giving their group. "Anyway this is the observation room so, see whatever information you can get out of it? I guess?" Bad times indeed when even the Hunter in charge was not too sure exactly what to do and was more than happy to use the Trainees as psychological, and a little bit of physical, scapegoats.

Dakota cocked his head at Julie and shrugged.

I don't think so Chama. His eye's caught the horsemen's beckoning gesture, hot damn before he looked at Tedan and grinned. "Sup Bro! Look's like we get to ask the pretty Horse..woman over there questions." He smiled again before frowning at Wilson.

"Does Wings mean Beastality?" he grinned again.

Beyond all warning though, he was the first to approach the Female and sat down at the table with her. Did he worry about his safety? Not at the moment.

"Sup Babe?" He cocked his head at her, "Your not what I expected for a horsemen." He kept his hand on Chama, just in case. Hopefully Eris wouldn't be intent on attacking him, otherwise he'd have to rethink his thoughts on the pretty girl.

Ryan was really beginning to dislike the sound of that ringtone. Every time it went off, the moon trainee stared at the device like it was some sort of vicious beast capable of killing. Then again, whenever he got a text message from someone other than a fellow trainee, it might as well have been.

:Its just maintenance duty. Nothing serious.:

This was true enough, and it had been announced that they had been voluntold for this detail. If anything, he should have expected the call...

About fifteen minutes after receiving the message and there was a knock at the door, just before Ryan entered, eying his fellow trainees, and the female moon hunter, Julie they had come to know during the Sahara mission. As usual, the latter was like a ball of nerves, keeping as far away from the creature chained at the other end of the room as she possibly could. That creature, now that he looked at her, he realized was one of the four Caelius had brought back with them. The others called them the Heirs, the Horsemen Heirs...

"It's a girl though..." He said, pointing out the obvious.

:So observant...: Locke added sarcastically.

Ryan resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the pesky voice in his head and instead walked over and grabbed hold of Dakota's coat collar, before he could make any decisions about moving close to the... horsewoman... All the while, keeping a wary eye on War.

"Umm, not that I'm arguing against orders or anything, but... how exactly are we supposed to do that..?" He asked, looking directly at Julie.

This was a horsema--woman they were talking about here. Not some weak little monster and they were just trainees. New trainees at that.

That little temptation started to rise in her chest again as Julie moved to stand as far as humanly possible from her, eyes straying only for a moment from the hunter boy to their 'leader.' Her first mistake -- she'd admitted they were trainees in the room. While her pride was wounded a little that they thought trainees would be a more than adequate guard, there were certain advantages to fresh meat. The fact that the moon hunter slipped up, almost calling them bait only provided a double advantage; the girl was no better than the trainees themselves. Flicking her gaze down to the smoking cigarette in her hand, Eris smiled with just a hint of something more than pleasantness, her voice sugary sweet.

"Peace. War. You should make up your mind -- someone might find your indecisiveness... pathetic."

Beyond that, War seemed to lose complete interest in the moon hunter, her mousy ways far less interesting than the stare from one of the trainee-boys across the room. Dakota was proving to be, by far, the most interesting of those whom had entered, not even glancing in Tedan's direction. The boy didn't seem interested in her, it was only right she return the sentiment. Instead, she focused on the more interesting of the three as he sauntered directly up to the table, amused by his unwavering confidence and deciding he either must not have been one of the ones she had crushed during the island experiment, or he didn't recognize the horsemen as the giant horses.

Although she didn't fail to notice his hand go to what she assumed was his weapon, Eris didn't seem perturbed as he sat down with her, mimicking the c**k of his head. "And you are not what I expected for a Hunter," she replied coyly, unmoving but for a slight tilt of her head, so as to give him her attention. It wavered only briefly, as Ryan spoke, watching him grab the collar of the boy she was conversing with, as if to restrain him.

Good, at least one of them had the sense to recognize the potential danger they were in.

"Well you see, sweetness, when you open your mouth, sometimes intelligent things come out," she replied in a pleasant, honeyed tone, quirking a brow at Ryan with an amused smile, "Even more interesting, occasionally they are posed in an inquisitive tone, which generally invokes a response."

Kat was taking a small nap when her phone went off. Groggily, she sat up and began a search for the phone that she had..somehow lost in the room somewhere. Thankfully, the phone itself was loud enough for her to follow and locate the damn thing. Rubbing at her eye's, she flipped the phone open and tried to focus her gaze on the text. It was from Julie--maintenance duty. Wonderful.

Snapping the phone shut again, she brought her hand over her face before bringing it back up and through her hair. Well, she had fair warning that she would be called for this. She only wished she was more awake for this. If she had time, she would run by the cafeteria and grab a coffee--but she didn't. She still needed to get dressed and get over there as soon as possible. Well, guess we have no choice but to go.

:Oh please. You always have a choice. Its just that other choice is not so appealing. You could choose to disobey and not go, and then later receive an a** kicking. Either way--you always have an option.:

Riiight.

After having changed and rushing through the halls, nearly running over several hunters along the way; Kat made it in time just to catch Julie mention something about 'getting information out of it.' Rotating her gaze back and forth between the moon huntress and the other trainees in the room--all who appeared to be ones she knew or knew little of--it was then she realized that it wasn't just them in the room.

Oh s**t--is that--?

:Sure looks like it.:

Horsemen Heir, War, was it? This woman..whoever this woman was, she was intimidating.

So, they were supposed to get information out of her? Interrogation or whatever ... though Julie said "observation" she also said the thing about information in the same sentence. Ugh, the Moon Hunter really needed to make up her mind. Still, Tedan figured that information was probably the real goal here. And somehow, he also got the feeling that playing nice the whole time wasn't going to get what they were after.

There was a moment or two of mental 'silence'. Then,

Tedan sighed, muttering just a little under his breath as he glanced back and forth from the little scene over by Eris to where Julie was perched on the opposite side of the room. He didn't know if asking her would do any good at this point. But well, it would be following procedure at least, right?

"Dakota, if you think she's gonna give us all the answers just for the asking, then I'm starting to have doubts about your intelligence," Tedan tossed at the other trainee, though he managed to couch the words in such a tone that they could be considered teasing. Like, 'come on, I know you have something better up your sleeve, get on with it'.

Then he walked across the room to Julie and lowered his voice. "I wanna know too. How are we supposed to get info out of her? Or maybe what I'm really sayin' is .... how far are we allowed to go to get this information?"
PostPosted: Wed Nov 30, 2011 11:55 am

"Um, I wouldn't do that if I were you..." Julie began as Dakota practically sauntered next to Eris as if she were a cute fluffy bunny. Even the Moon Hunter herself didn't have cute fluffy bunnies that were that approachable. Thankfully Ryan pulled the errant trainee away before Julie had to put her reprimanding shoes on. Or was it gloves. Or maybe socks.

Unlike the trainees however, the Moon Hunter did not take the insult but simply pressed onwards. "I just wanted to sleep in, why do I never get to sleep in. Moon Hunters are defense I keep on telling him, we don't do this sort of questioning or attacking thing, no, peace is really the same as war if you don't keep your promises. Oh, what should I do, I-"

- and then, in the middle of her fumbling, she dropped the controller. The object clattered to the ground, button side down right at Julie's feet, which wasn't a huge issue in itself.

The problem was that the was an audible beep as a very tiny portion of the ceiling seemed to remodel itself into what looked like a hose-

- and spewed out soapy water all over Eris and half the room.

"Oh crap, I, wait, don't panic, sorry I got this-" Almost comically wide-eyed, the Moon Hunter leaned over to pick up the control, managed to grab it, and then dropped it again. This time, a generous helping of what looked like shampoo dribbled over the Heir and her table, covering half the floor with wet, soapy, liquid.

"s**t, its so slippery, the controller you know, I didn't mean to-" And the controller dropped again, water and shampoo ejected at the same time, effectively getting most of the trainees soaked too.

It was really hard to tell if Julie was doing this purposely - it seemed like an honest mistake, and the Moon Hunter seemed to visibly be panicking as she reprimanded herself - or she could have been a very good actress.

Before Julie had a chance to answer his question, all hell broke loose. In the form of some kind of automatic shower or something like that? Oh what the ********?! Tedan spat out a curse as he was suddenly drenched in water and shampoo, feet slipping a bit on the floor now.

Great, just great, why did they get stuck with fail!Hunter here anyway? He was starting to revise his opinion (greatly) of ever wanting to work with her again. "You're just making it worse, s**t, here, look," the Sun trainee muttered, bending over to try and grab the remote himself since he was the closest to Julie right now.
