  The Games of Minevica
Many generations ago, there was a goddess who bestowed upon the earth a charm of prosperity. This charm appeared in the form of a stone. It shone in the light with metallic colors of purple and blue.
There were three different civilizations at the time. Only three. The goddess brought one prosperity stone into the world, but the three peoples were unwilling to share it's blessing.
She decided to create a game. This game happened in four stages. Each region sent their best warriors to an island called Minevica. These warriors represent their people in the games. The winning team took home the stone, and were considered heroes of their people. This tradition takes place every decade. The last country to receive the stone was Mallandaia. If another team wins the games, the stone will pass to them.
The Games of Minevica are different each year. These games are built to test the strengths of each county’s participants. Each country sends its best and most clever athletes. These games will be especially important this time around. The kingdom of Zeladis is growing powerful. It is being taught in their country that their races should be considered above the others. They have gone so far as to enslave members of other races who were before peacefully residing in Zeladis. This has enraged Mallandaia and Ithus. The three countries are in political turmoil. If team Zeladis holds the stone, it could mean the end of a delicate balance between powers. It is up to Mallandaia and Ithus to restore the balance of power.
The first stage was an alteration of the popular game, Capture the Flag. Zeladis one this game. The situation grows more dire.
The second stage is a game called Protect Your Damsels.

  Rules of the Roleplay
Crew Listen to my crew members. They may make executive decisions. If you don't like it, you can take it up with someone higher, but chances are their opinion is going to be similar.
Posting Please have your character's name as a title, location, team, role (Knight or Damsel), ad a picture in each f your posts. The easiest way to do this is with a format. You can either make your own, or request one. No page stretching please. Keep fonts from 9-12 please. Anything larger for the body of your post is ridiculous. Coding Help is a thread that might be of use to you.
Characters Please post your character in the 'Accepted Character Profiles' thread once accepted. To get accepted, post your character profile to the 'Creating Your Character' thread. There, a staff member will look over your profile and choose to accept (or not accept). You may also create as many characters as you can handle. You may create more races than I have listed on the profile page. There is a form for it in 'Creating Your Character'. Submit your form to that thread.
Post Quality I would like your posts to have substance to them. Give other players something to work with. Let's shoot for at least one paragraph per post. Violence is encouraged, but romance is iffy. Just don't turn my fantastic action-y roleplay into a romance.
Non Playable Character's Feel free to create any npc's you wish, but please post them to the 'Creating Your Character' thread, so I can add them to the list. Npc's cannot fight. At all. They can make conversation, accompany your character, help do stuff, but cannot fight.
Frequency Please try to post at least twice a week. I will boot your character for inactivity after one week if you do not warn me ahead of time. You can warn me by posting in the absences thread.
Fighting If you are in a battle situation and cannot decide who should win, a crew member will do a random number generator from 1 - 2, higher if there are more people in the fight. One number for each character. Each character will be assigned a number by the crew member first, and then the winning number is the winner. Their team wins the conflict at hand.

Important Announcement For New Players! We did a little cleansing of the character list recently. This involved killing off a great number of players. To keep the plot intact, I had one of the characters activate a stone of Chaos. This stone unleashed an earthquake, hellhounds, and other nasty creatures into the playing field. These disasters are killing off all of the players that are not posting.
Once the mayhem calms, reinforcements can be sent from each nation to replace the ones that died due to the Chaos Stone.
I will make an announcement when new players can be sent in. In the meantime, you may create and submit characters. Just don't start them yet.
You may post in the forest as soon as your characters are accepted. But, please start from a point in which your character is arriving as a reinforcement for the players that didn't make it through the Stone of Chaos. Thank you!
