Voting Time!!! It's time to vote on the path you want the main plot to take. We've had some really good ideas and suggestions, so vote for your favorite path. This is anonymous, so you don't have to worry about offending anyone or hurting anyone's feelings. However, since this is anonymous, I am holding all of you to the honor system to only vote once, and not to use mules or friends to boost the voting in your favor. One vote per person. No more than that. Make sure you read the descriptions for each plot direction before voting! SandmanThe sandman shows up at a lavish ball where everyone is celebrating 10 years of Annual Balls, and puts everyone to sleep with his sleeping dust, giving them the challenge of finding a way to escape the world of dreams in three days or else be trapped forever. T-CorpT-Corp shows up again after not appearing since the 6th Annual Ball. They tell the guests that they have created a machine that lets them share dreams. When they are asleep, something goes wrong, and they become trapped in the dreams while the T-Corp staff tries to fix everything. MixtureWe would mix the Sandman and T-Corp ideas so that somehow the Sandman and T-Corp work together. Possible ideas include T-Corp making extra strong sand for the Sandman, and the Sandman taking over T-Corp. OtherIf you don't like any of these ideas, pick this one. If you have a better idea, share it with us!

I, being the biased person I am, love all of the ideas, however I'm for the Sandman idea, even if Gaia's Sandman is a woman. (Does it really matter??)
This gives the guests a more natural (if one can call it that) reason, and all of the guests can be controlled while they're asleep(as a twist, herr herr ;3).
Plus, I think it will give the guests a reason for feeling more important, as then they know that they are asleep and need to get out ASAP. This could ALSO be interpreted into the rooms (The one I'm co-hosting, Robayn's and Spotted's High Flying Adventure especially as we all love mysteries there!) and could create a contest, giving out clues and hints to how to get out of the dreamland.
(As you may tell, my imagination setting has been switched to "high")
Thus, I vote Sandman. The Sandman "The rosy clouds float overhead,

Comes stealing through the town.
"White sand, white sand," he softly cries,
And as he shakes his hand,

Odd Cinderella But, Gaia's Sandman is female... sweatdrop Also, T-Corp? What's that? xp Since it's our story, we can make the Sandman male or female. It doesn't necessarily have to do anything with the item. 3nodding

I voted for the Sandman [even though she's female on Gaia] just because I have no clue what T-Corp is.
The Sandman plot puts the guests in 100% control over their fate. If they don't even try to escape, then they become trapped forever to spend all of eternity in the dreamlands. Maybe the various rooms can have plots where they are trying to entice guests to stay. [This feels very much inline with the dreamlands that I originally used as an example.]
As for why not T-Corp? It feels like something that is either going to be prohibitive towards everyone who wasn't around for the 6th ball due to not knowing who/what T-Corp is or like we couldn't come up with anything new/innovative for anyone that remembers it. Worst of all, guests have zero control over their eventual fates. They're really just killing time and waiting around for this t-corp [whoever they are] to rescue them.

I voted for a mix of Sandman and T-Corp (even though I have no earthly CLUE what T-Corp is because I wasn't even on Gaia until AFTER the 7th Annual Ball was already over, so this was a year after the ball with T-Corp in it) because I really liked the idea of having the Sandman, but at the same time, the idea of a corporation offering guests the chance to use technology to enter someone's dreams a la Inception really appealed to me. But really, I don't care whether we include T-Corp or not; the Sandman idea is the main one I like. 3nodding
