Hey all! I know that this guild is very inactive except for a few very steadfast members, but I thought I'd post a NaNoWriMo thread just for the spirit of things!
So, who's going to take on the challenge this year?
(Also, I know this post is a day late, but there was just no time yesterday)
I've got a story ready to go! Geez, I'm excited!

Hmm...I never though to update for NaNo here...
I will get on that tomorrow. Also wrote a bit more of that new thing I was doing, which is part of NaNo. Three projects running concurrently. Gah D:

Woohoo! We've got some legitimate responses going on here!
So, it's the fourth day of the month, and I'm at 2k... which is getting behind. But I've still got time tonight, so I might get another 1 or 2k in.

I'm going to give it a shot! I won in 2009 and skipped it last year. I honestly have no idea if I'm going to be able to pull it off, because school is really, really killing me. (20 units plus a 12-hour part-time job means I don't have time to SNEEZE, let alone write.) But I'm going to try! Glad to see others are still writing, too . . . !

Hi. I'm one of those non-posters, but I have to say something.
I joined this year's NaNo.
I just jumped in, throwing reservations to the wind. I joined a day late and been keeping up with daily totals matching my days of writing, but tonight, I caught up to a fourth day total. I am now at just over 6k words. I don't think I've gone this far before in any story before and I can still feeling a broad story before me.

Title: Lords and Ladies (place holder. I never name my story til after it's written)
Word count: 6.7k
page count: 15
I'm still behind, but I'm not worried. I tend to write 2k every day once I'm serious, and that leaves me five extra days to get things done. So far I've used up... three of those days.
I'm excited to see the action here! We still have writers! Congrats to everyone who's getting it done, and good luck!

Currently I've about 16k but rather behind in actually finishing episodes on time. I'm really really glad I outlined this all in October in another guild because it's flowing really well now. It's not always what I want and I've recognized patches I'll have to edit but it's...good.
Very few things in my life are.
So that means something.

I've been lagging for the last few ays. I didn't even write yesterday but a friend helped bounce my problem off and now I think I know how to continue so maybe I'll get back into this.
