OK so I keep getting pm's & IM's asking about this and that, repeatedly....>.> I decided I'm just gonna make you all a FAQ thread. (Frequently Asked Questions)

You can ask questions in here, just make sure you read the list of questions and answers to make sure someone hasn't already asked them. I don't like to repeat myself. Any repeat questions will be ignored.

My Committee/Council is basically made up of the people I know and trust. They are people who the I have worked with before, or I know really well to be hard workers and the best in some things. They help me manage the ball, keep me updated on issues and such and give me their opinions on, lol, just about everything. To get on it? I'm not accepting more people. So nothing really.

No you don't have to apply if you don't want to be a host/co-host. It wont impact you at all. So no worries.
Well the Advertising Committee is also incharge ofour Special Events where we hold mini events like for Halloween and Winter Holidays.
First time people? Don't expect alot to happen in a short amount of time. The whole process take a year. And I get it, you're all excited and eager to start the whole ball process. But we generally start this when most of our people are going back to school, so expect it to be slow.

If I really don't want to be a host/co-host, do I have to apply anyway if I all want to be taken seriously for other tasks? What if I'm really not all that interested in advertising or fundraising? [i.e. What should first-time people expect?]

Sorry. I think I wasn't clear.... My original question that I had PMed had to do with other tasks related to threads. Naturally the theme, thread hosts and co-hosts will have to be decided first. I had been wondering how people who fulfill those other tasks are decided -- like is it exclusively from other people who applied to be hosts [so you're SOL if you didn't apply to host], do hosts/co-hosts pick from their friends [much like with the host committee] or is there some application process.

I had mostly be wondering if first timers are limited to just advertising and fundraising only, especially is they cannot offer proof of their abilities and don't have someone that can vouch for them.

Where do you apply if you want to be a co-host (as opposed to a main or secondary room host)? Just the same thread where all the host applications are, or will there be a different thread? I would very much like to be a co-host, but I don't want to miss out just because I didn't know where to apply. sweatdrop


once the room hosts and secondary hosts are chosen, it is their responsibility to choose their co-host list. (They most of the time do it through application process)

No they are not limited to just that. They can volunteer to help out in rooms once we have them set up and the Hosts are chosen. We just haven't gotten that far yet....>.> Much to my chargrin.

Yes it is. We don't knwo yet, we're still discussing it. In the plot room.

The room plots will be chosen with the main plot this year. So that everything isn't so miss-matched and wishy washy.
