Because it's Towel Day/Geek Pride Day!
I love celebrating silly holidays like today. I have my towel and I'm celebrating my geekiness loudly.

I used to have a holiday where me and a bunch of my friends would buy a couple Twilight books, burn them outside and roast marshmallows over it. There wasn't a specific date or anything, but we'd do it every couple of months. Now that there isn't much hype on Twilight(at least not in my area), we've stopped. That, and it was too expensive to buy and the whole global warming thing. sweatdrop

Oh my, such a violent holiday! Seems like the Twilight craze is starting to die down a bit, which is a welcome relief in my book. I had one of those once. It felt good to burn the books but I didn't think about roasting marshmallows over top! c:

Good point, very well made. although when i had mine, i was an ex-twihard with all the books to begin with orzYou're not boring by not celebrating any silly holidays. It's all diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, if you will~ c:

I celebrate Kirk/Spock day (sept 15). I basically read more fanfiction than usual and look at all the lovely art that everyone makes in celebration, and I'll have started a drawing but I never finish them. Hopefully this year I will finish something in time...
