Ilyia stepped into the room, looking about for a moment at the dank surroundings. Certainly not Silverlight, but it would be a place for her to part from all the confusion that had so far greeted her. She silently dropped onto the bed, not much surprised by the duration of time between that and when her head struck the wall behind her. A single cabinet and a large dresser stood opposite her, neither of which she saw much use for, given her nature.

Standing at the doorway, Tuomas gave a humble bow. "If you require anything else, please do not hesitate to inform any servants. They will see to it that your needs are met promptly." The youth excused himself to allow the woman to rest.

"Thank you," Ilyia began to say, though as she looked to address Tuomas, had found that he had already left. With a sigh, she pulled herself back to the wall, arm wrapped around an upraised knee while leaning on her free hand, head low in contemplation. Despite how used she was to being without need of rest, she suspected this would be a devastatingly long evening. "I need to find her... or at least someone with some measure of information..." she mused, dropping her forehead to her knee.

After several long minutes of contemplation, the Divine creation decided on the notion to seek out a general place of information. Closing her eyes, she pictured the most logical place for any such wealth to be, and as she stood away from the bedding, threw her hand to the side, opening a sputtering portal which nearly blasted at her, though she quickly closed it off before any harm could be done. "I really need to assess my limitations more carefully... I'm definitely not in Keiris any longer." With a resigned shrug, she stepped out of the room, making her way to the library on foot, at a loss for any faster means of transportation.

Some two hours later, Ilyia arrived again, immediately dropping to her knee at the window and closing her fist, the telltale shimmer of silver light surrounding it for a moment, allowing her some relief. Still she looked back to the door repeatedly, hoping beyond any real sensibility that her message had been conveyed well enough to Tuomas. "Don't fail me now..." she whispered, again inspecting the light of her hand.

With a hesitant hand, Tuomas knocked at the door to the chambers. As he waited for a response, the youth paced back and forth in the hall. The events occurring reminded him all to easily of a very dark past for the kingdom.

Ilyia sprang to her feet and spun to face the doorway, slightly alarmed by the knock, though she quickly came to and opened it, stepping to the side and giving an appreciative yet worried nod, trailing her hand to the side in an invitation to the room. "Thank you for coming," she said, "I do apologize for the inconvenience, but... regardless, please, do come in."

Tuomas bowed his head in acknowledgment as he entered. "Thank you." He removed his glasses with a trembling hand and wiped them nervously on the sleeve of his shirt. "You must forgive the Lord, he is not himself and I fear for the worst."

Ilyia closed the door before any action or word was to be made on her part. She drew her blade and tossed it spinning to the bed, effectively disarming herself. "So I hear," she remarked with a frown, "though in all this time I've searched for information, it seems I'm left with few options." Her shoulders dropped, helpless as she was given her prior failed attempts at retrieving any information of value. Still a light of hope struck her face. "Still, you seem knowledgeable on recent matters, and if my suspicions are correct I may have stumbled across something of interest..." She held up her hand in front of her, a faint image of Hazel and Leto appearing in rotation above it, flickering on occasion. "These two, if I'm correct in guessing on the cat-figure... are somehow or other involved with Nyx, and if what I've heard holds true I'm afraid nothing goes by coincidence. Still... anything you can tell me would be a great help." She flicked her wrist, dispelling the image immediately and dropping her arm against the wall.

The youth studied the images, unfamiliar with any but the catlike creature from a previous encounter. "Nyx?" He paled, though seemed a bit relieved. "That would explain quite a lot. Especially the recent darkness throughout the castle grounds. What would you wish to know? I will help to assist you if at all possible."

Ilyia nodded grimly, affirming the evident association she had exposed - however strange the occurrence of finding out was - and sighed. "If my assumptions are correct, I'd been sent here to prevent... something, although this recent news of the late Lord's corruption leads me to believe I'm either far too late, or just on time without any real assurances to what's happening. You say he's not himself, but judging of his explanations... admittedly what I've heard is little, but if it was at all due to a rise of power since a confrontation with Nyx herself then the word 'puppet' strikes me very clearly... what happened?"

Tuomas began pacing through the room nervously as he recalled the events leading up to the previous Lord's demise. "It was at the Festival of the Vernal Equinox where Nyx first made her appearance in this realm. I am not certain what her main objective was, though she slaughtered numerous residents as well as unleashed some type of darkness into the Lord's heart." He paused, taking a moment to peer out a nearby window. "We had thought that Nyx had been destroyed along with Lord Katsuto when he made his sacrifice, however those hopes proved to be mere fancy on our parts. Now, I have been doing some research and there was a temple built to Nyx somewhere in this land. If it were possible to find this place, we may be able to destroy her link to this kingdom permanently."

"A temple to -!" Ilyia's look of alarm, had she seen it, would have alarmed her for the sheer disbelief of what she had been told. "-have there been any sightings of unwarranted activity, then? If indeed this temple may prove a linked location to some other place where Nyx's power reigns supreme, then could nearby figures not be traced to a central point?"

The youth paused to turn to Ilyia, nodding gravely. "We are not certain if this is their location for gathering, however it cannot be too far from that area. There have been many supposed council members coming and going as they please from this very castle. Perhaps if one were to follow them, Nyx's location may be easily determined." He gestured to the door. "If you wish, the book is still located within the library. Shall I retrieve it?"

Ilyia thought for a moment, a look of worry crossing her face in contemplation. Her eyes darted to and from, as though weighing the advantages and drawbacks of several plans forming in her mind. "I would take up the chase, but I suspect the hand of a goddess of purity might be at odds with going undetected by such a darkness as Nyx's council. Regarding myself at least, it may prove more effective to determine a location by design. It would be much appreciated, though... one thing." She moved to open the door, but stopped as she spoke her last thought and turned to Tuomas. "We haven't even been introduced, and yet it seems trust has already run high. My name is Ilyia Nerian." She gave a small smile, despite the recent troubles as she proceeded to open the doorway.
