IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY POSTED ENTRANCE INTO CLASS YOU MAY STILL COME IN AND JOIN IN EVERYONE IS STILL WELCOME THERE WAS NO SIGN UPS ITS AN OPEN CLASS <3Finally the Classroom door clicks unlocked. Late as usual, it becoming the norm for the nicotine addicted teacher to be running late. Good teacher or not... Upon entering you see that Cadmus Is not in the room, he's no where to be seen. However there is writing on the board. Welcome Back Student's Glad to see you all survived the Class Trip.
Herbs and You II
Today's Lesson Plan: Feed the Plant Survive
Homework: Well Seeing the board and it's strike outs isn't exactly a calming sight perhaps you heard of the student eating plant that was upon the Seaweed for the previous boat trip? The Classroom is calm and seems relatively peaceful though. OOC Note Cadmus will be showing up, and it will tie into today's plans. We shall be covering Magical properties of plants today so prepare for some dice generating Random numbering fun. Long story Short by the end I"m sure we'll have a very magic induced plant. And lets not forget what we learned last time >.> Maybe we can dig up some sedative herbs

A bright eyed siren peeked into the classroom. How..odd. It looked like no one had arrived yet. Skipping up to the front row, Israfel plunked down. He liked the biology teacher, he was nice, and Riley liked him too! She liked him lots. And Riley was very good about such things. The board's...notes did make him pause however. "Survive?" That was okay, oddly enough, for Israfel. He'd been on a boat and lived. And that meant he could totally take on a plant right?
......right?

((ooc: If Tess needs to have attended a prerequisite class, please let me know @.@))
Maritess was nervous when she entered Professor Cadmus' class. She only hoped the botany professor wouldn't judge her for all the nonsense she'd asked over on groanspring. She was surprised to find that she was one of the first students to arrive and decided to take a seat that was fairly close in the front. She gave the siren a small wave, hoping he still remembered her before she turned her attention to the blackboard. A lump seemed to form in her throat at what was written. This did not bode well for some reason.

Johan was likewise surprised to find the room mostly deserted when he arrived. Only two other students, and a distinct lack of teacher. He gave the chalkboard a dubious look, wondering what he should expect, considering the strikes through both points. It was the latter point that had him double-checking the corners for carnivorous plants.
As nothing immediately jumped out to eat him, Johan took a seat towards the front, and it finally registered that he recognized the legless ghoul nearby. What was her name again? Maritime? No, but close. She'd been on the ship with him, and Christof had attempted to make some legs for her. Mari- Maritess!
"Good day, Maritess." he greeted her, while setting out his pencils and journal.

It had been a while since Astra had last attended this class, and she had missed it thoroughly. So, once she had heard it was back on, the fairy had made a beeline for the classroom, although when she had arrived, she noticed only a few students had turned up. Plus, the processor wasn't here yet.
Looking at the board, she noticed the scratched out writing on the board. Her antennae twitched in thought; Why were the words crossed out? Where they going to be dealing with a dangerous plant? Though, for once she did not appear to be phased by such a idea.
Picking a seat nearby the other students, she jumped onto it and began to set out her school equipment.

Another OOC Note Thanklies for those who have showed up so far student wise. I'm going to give the class till Friday evening for more students to show up and then the fun stuff shall start. Now so that everyone knows, Steve will be involved and while he's happy to be back on land he's becoming quite cranky for some unknown reason. Now no one will be able to use their powers against Steve. The Goal is to rely on what you've learned in class. So if you didn't look over the plant book to see the magical parts in plants you may want to do so. I shall be giving points based on the originality of the plant/herb used (Meaning someone else didn't use it Only exceptions being if they are posted within a minute of each other) Please take this time OOCly wise to Ask me questions while we wait for more students to arrive <3

The manananggal didn't expect to hear her name being called, but it was a pleasant surprise. She recognized the boil from the ship, and tried to recall his name, "Good day as well, Johan and Astra" she smiled to both reapers, trying to resist the urge to fidget about with her own things while they arranged their things. "Have either of you attended the previous classes?" It sounded like a good question to ask and it might help her catch up.
((ooc: Would it be weird if I also signed Petro up for this class if there aren't a lot of students by the time you start, SJG? :3 ))

Levi raced into the class. She'd been up early, but apparently finding her classes would prove to be more time consuming than anticipated. Herbs... something she would hopefully take on and learn more about given her background in agriculture. Mind you- it was only for one sort of crop, but the woods back home had some greenery to be reckoned with, for sure.
This is why she raised a brow at the scribbled out bits. Some plants you knew to steer clear from; apparently, she'd be greeting them head on here. Well, alright then Levi cracked her neck like she was getting ready for a roughing up. With some plants... it could be rough.
Curiousity filled her head as to just what kind of creature-eater she'd meet when she plunked down into any old chair and screeched it forward to sit in attention. A few loose pieces of paper and a long slender bit of graphite were what she brought for notes. The class seemed small so far; not unlike her classes back home.
(( okay to join despite being completely new and not having attended the trip? ^^; ))

Q & A Q: Huni Pi - Would it be weird if I also signed Petro up for this class if there aren't a lot of students by the time you start, SJG? :3 A. No It would not be weird ^.^ The More the merrier so long as you can handle having two students in class, so long as their is a distinct difference between the two such as a different color font or something of the sort <3 I do read over the posts but I'm easily confused at times OTL Q: nekoluch - okay to join despite being completely new and not having attended the trip? A: A-O.K. I love everyone and Cadmus does not discriminate at all I only ask that you take a peek at the other classes least the beginning of them see how Cadmus starts it all out and that you look over the plants and herbs book provided for the class in the links above.

Malodore padded into the room with a little trepidation - it hadn't seen Professor Cadmus since the trip, and while it still respected the Botany teacher, it had to admit there was a little... twitchiness there.
A twitchiness that was brought to the fore, thanks to the note on the classroom. No thanks to you, the thought bubbled up, treacherously... and was just as quickly stomped down. It was here to learn, damnit. And it would learn.
It would just be more careful this time.
The plague doctor sat down, giving the lesson plan a suspicious look. It wondered if the plant would be the same one from the Sea Weed. Had Steve survived the whole ordeal along with his master?

(( didn't realize this was open for sign ups ))
Sheridan eyed the classroom curiously and maybe with a touch of suspicion. He still wasn't sure how he felt about classes or professors after that 'field trip', and yet he was intrigued by the idea of learning about plants, a subject he had limited knowledge on.
Stepping through the door, the dragon scanned the room for familiar faces before settling into an empty seat next to Tess, his head bowed in a greeting, then a greeting to the plague doctor. His gaze then turned to the front of the room, silently wondering where the professor was and why it seemed this class was far less crowded than the others he had thus attended. Hopefully those absent didn't know something he didn't...

Truthfully Tsetsiliya was a little nervous at attending classes again.
She still felt a slight twinge of resentment for the happenings of the field trip and the distinct lack of faculty during the whole of it. The threat of impending detention still hung over her head (when in Halloween was that supposed to happen, anyway? She just wanted to get it over with and move on with things). Regardless, her love for plants won out in the end, and clutching the text to her chest she made her way into the classroom. A few of the other students had already entered and sat, chatting away - some she did not recognize, but she recognized the plague doctor from her group in the last session. Granted, he was a hard figure to miss, being so tall. She did not know it well enough to sit nearby and make at conversation just yet, so she gave the room a timid smile and glance-over before sliding into a vacant seat near the front. Her fingers drummed nervously on the book's binding, which remained tucked close to her body.

Johan had actually just been looking through his notes from the previous class when Maritess spoke up. He glanced over at her and quickly scrawled a rune onto a blank piece of paper. Laying the blank piece over his notes copied his spidery script onto the paper, and he held it out to her. "I did attend one of the last classes. Ve vere looking through the book to see vhat herbs vere effective against vhat creatures. You may read mine, if you like." he offered. "I'm afraid I missed the most recent class, however." Hasuko checked her school map and then fumbled for her schedule again. This was the correct classroom. Maybe. She hoped.
Amityville was so big, much bigger than her dinky home river and the tiny school she had attended there. That school was backwater both figuratively and literally but at least it had been comfortably familiar and she didn't get horribly lost when trying to find the ghoul's restroom.
The kappa gripped the straps to her turtleshell backpack, and stepped into the room. She eyed the board: Botany Basics: Herbs and You II. Yep, this was the correct class. She breathed a sigh of relief, glad she hadn't walked into the wrong classroom yet again. That had been embarrassing.
Hasuko glanced uncertainly around the classroom at all the other students she didn't know. Though wait, one figure she did know. She hurried down the aisle and gratefully took a seat next to the plague doctor. "Hello, Loreto." she said, happy that the class at least had one familiar face. "I didn't know you were also taking this class?" Somehow, she had thought the plague doctor would have been attending far more advanced classes.
