Ah, yes, I do have my hand in the Eastern European ancestor pot as well, you're not alone. The Latvian part of my family failed to hold strong when the soviets took over though, leading to a mix of Russian and Latvian. Other than that most of my family is Irish, due to some odd ball moves, along with German, Dutch and English.
It's always best to remember no one knows what is back in the gene pool.

Apologies... but I have probably the most generic nationality ever... being Silesian German, Saxon German, English, and French.
Generally... whilst I only have my hand in Western Europe for the most part, nationality cannot create borders... thus... we all have a hand in the larger picture.
Being singled-out nationality-wise, whilst sometimes is considered a burden, is actually a huge benefit. And I'd much rather be something less generic than the same-old-same-old.
