Jung Young

User Image

Jung was currently in te human world, in a small city in northern thailand. shacks doted all over the area and he had his zampakuto drawn, standing over a house. "It was supposed to be a simple mission... It was suposed to be a single hollow... How the hell did it come to this?" Jung toght to himself, as three hollows started surrounding him, he was sent to take care of a low-level hollow that had shown up due the murder of a person with sightly elevated spiritual powers. Instead he found himself fighting a hollow probably with the power of a 20th seat, the honorary rank given to shinigami who stood ou, but was not able to actually reach a seated position along two weaklings. The strongest one sesembled a large, red frog with thick fur on it's back and with an aproximate height 2,43 meters and nearly as much in width. The other two resembled snakes, one in a more common manner, including a lack of legs and a tail, with large yellow eyes and a amber colour at it's scales. the other one was nearly a lizard with snake-like head and spine, all of them had holes of 55cm (2feet) at the upper torso.

Jung took a step back, even tough they were still to act it was due the fact they werre gonna play safe until they measured him. Jung entered a stance were his zampakuto was between himself and the hollows, and his right arm hidden behind his body. He would use that to call reinforcements from the sereitei using the comunicator. Luckly, they didn't move until he was done sendingg the S.O.S. but once they did, all three came at once, the frog-like hollow landing before the other ones due it's speed, but Jung was able to jump back before he was hit, but was still pushed back several feet more that he intended to, forcing him to air-walk. The old building was completely crumbled from the hollow's chage, but Jung only had to keep them from harming humans until reinforcements arived. He just hopped to survive untill then. Entering a stance for offence, Jung would wait for his enemies to strike again. "If i'm going down, might as well i go with a bit of dignity. Not to mention, this willl prove a great experience, if i survive without serious wounds." He toght, as the lizard-one bursted out of the smoke.

((OCC:I don't want to drag this for too long, as the first post warned me to, so my RPC's destiny shall forever remain a mistery. Oh, and this will be my autoformat, by the way. I'l edit it as needed.))

Sorry for the wait.

The profile is fine, and the RP sample looks good to me. Might need to do something about those typos in your profile though. Go ahead and post in the profiles thread and I'll add you to the roster. Just make sure that you correct the typos at some point, because I'll be checking back regularly.

Gaian Name: Bloodweb

RPC: Aero S. Flint

Reason to Join: Who doesn't like punching people?

RP Sample:
Aero wandered though the dimly lit alleyways, unsure if he was lost or on the right track. Perhaps the Hollow he was searching for wasn't even in this town anymore? But he highly doubted that. He knew the type of man the hollow was before he's death. He was a vicious man, murdered three women before being caught and hanged for his crime. But it seemed that he had a lot of hatred left behind, and his hollow has been terrorizing the souls of these forsaken backstreets. The hollow would be around here, eating stray cats to survive. Maybe even looking for a begger or a prostitute to devour if it's lucky. Laying low. Striking from the shadows. Aero needed to be on his guard.

"Who dares to tempt my hunger now,
are you a man or reaper?
It matters not, you tasty sow
You're now to face 'The Creeper'."

It was odd that this one rhymed when he talked. Obviously been reading too much Etrigan. But the thing was, Aero could not tell where the voice was coming from. It seemed to be coming from everywhere at once.
"I've come to kill you Creeper. You've been causing a lot of trouble around here. And naughty hollows need to be punished." Aero replied, clutching his trench knife, waiting for the beast to strike first and give away his position.

"I have no quarrel with you, guard
you only do your duty
But your task, I ask you disregard..."

From the shadows behind Aero came the beast. The Hollow had the face of a jackal, with long white claws running down his fingertips. A blood drenched mane ran down the beast's back, and where his heart should be there was a hole.
"Or I'll slit you through, my beauty!" He charged Aero, cutting deeply into his back. The cuts seemed to sear him, and for a second he closed his eyes. But in that second, the beast was gone. Seeped back into the shade no where to be found. But he was still there. Aero could feel him.

The blood from his wound began seeped into his clothes. This was bad. This was very bad. He let the best get the jump on him, but he would not let this happen again. He calmed himself and listened. Listened for any sound that was not his own. Listen for the beast's breath. It would be there. He knew it would.

"So you gonna sneak out of the shadows again?" Aero asked. There! The stench of death was on the creeper's breath. Aero bolted towards that sent. There he was, ready to burst from the shadows. Aero sunk his knife into the beast's stomach. And in a flash, he pulled it across his chest. Gutting the creeper.
The beast, wounded, sunk back into the haven of it's shadows.
"To have my entrails strung about,
you make the creeper pissed!"

From beneath him! The Creeper's claws sank into Aero's legs, and Aero could not help but scream in agony. But the creeper had made one fatal mistake. When it clawed into Aero's flesh, it left itself vulnerable. And god damn if Aero wasn't going to use that to his advantage. Aero stabbed his trench knife into his own leg, pinning the Creeper in place.
He began to give the Creeper a solid one-two punch, knocking it's sharp teeth out of his mouth. One punch after another, the beast tried to pull away but to no avail.
"You've kilt my rhyme with blackish hue-"
But before the beast could finish, Aero punched it's head into the pavement.
"That's okay. I got the gist."

Gaian Name: The Desolate Sonata

RPC: Rei Kanashimi

Reason to Join: I was told this squad is active. Oh, and it's a good fit for Rei.

RP Sample:

[[ First, this sample is really long so I'm making the text small, sorry. Second, it is a different rpc (Birdie Vara, Bount in various guilds) but it portrays my RP abilities so it shouldn't really matter. ]]

Birdie walked into the chamber, her footsteps echoing around the stone and mortar walls, as if the chamber had a heartbeat of its own. It was cold, but why wouldn't it be cold? After all, the chamber was hidden in the very depths of the damp cave where the sunlight never even reached. It felt like all of her warmth was being sapped away and dispersed into nothing. It was particularly dark, despite the torch that Birdie had been carrying. The light only reached about a foot in front of her, which really wasn't much help at all. Nevertheless, it was better than pure darkness. It had taken her nearly two hours to finally reach the desolate chamber; her legs were slightly sore and her palms ached from scrambling up the large boulders that blocked her path. Now she stood, in the center, wondering when this whole she-bang would actually get started. Little did she know that the object of her journey was waiting for her, hiding in the darkest corner of the room, watching Birdie's every step with disturbing interest.

"Birdie Vara." Came the voice of the hidden figure. It bounced around the wall of the chamber, making Birdie's spine tingle in a not so pleasant way. It was a female voice, girly and high-pitched, but it had a slight grating quality, as if the person speaking had a piece of tinfoil stuck in their throat. It wasn't a very comforting sound at all. "Gee you're so pretty..." The voice said again, even closer this time. Birdie's mind went on high alert, every sense flaring up, trying desperately to locate the source of the noise. "It almost makes me want to rip that pretty little face right off and put it on myself!" There was the voice again, this time directly behind her. Birdie froze as the blade of something that felt like a sword pressed gently against her cheek, the horrible voice laughing hysterically in her ear. But the sword lifted off of her face without so much as a cut and a tiny hand gripped her shoulder to spin her around. In the poor lighting of the chamber, Birdie finally saw what had been in the chamber with her the whole time. It was a girl, with dirty skin that was cracked, as if she were a broken porcelain doll. The clothes she was wearing were ragged remains of a gothic style dress, frayed at the edges and stained with dark splatters of dried... well Birdie couldn't really tell, and she didn't really want to think about it either. At each joint, there was a thin cord connected to it. 'Like puppet strings, only broken,' she thought. In the girl’s right hand was a machete that bore the same dark stains that the dress had, the bits of blade that weren't stained, shone brightly. But the most terrifying part of her was her face, framed by locks of muck-covered blonde hair. Her mouth was twisted into some hideous grin that revealed the way to sharp pointed teeth. Her eyes were completely missing, and when Birdie stared into them, it felt like she was falling forward into an endless cavern... unable to stop herself... unable to call out for help.

But she snapped out of it and dropped close to the ground, picking up one of the cords that lay coiled on it and pulling it as hard as she could. It turned out that the one she had grabbed had been connected to the puppet girl’s right hand, causing her to drop the machete she had been holding. As soon as the blade clattered to the floor, Birdie dove for it and managed to get across the room, brandishing the machete in front of her. "Now, you have to listen to me, because I have your weapon and you have nothing." Birdie stated, voice wavering just slightly, she still didn't know exactly what the puppet girl was able to do. "You know, I really like you. You've made the game fun. You'll be such a pretty addition to my collection." The puppet girl said, clearly unconcerned by the fact that she was unarmed. "I suppose I should tell you who I am. You may call me Marionnette Cassée." The puppet, Marionnette, gestured to herself elegantly. Then the hideous grin became even wider as she swung her arm, the cord connected to it elongating and wrapping around Birdie's ankles. Birdie kicked her legs in a vain attempt to get the cords off of her. She couldn't feel the tips of her toes anymore and knew that if she couldn't stop Marionnette, she might end up losing her feet. She grabbed at the cord and pulled herself up, launching herself at Marionnette and hacking away at her chest with the machete. The blade pierced through her porcelain skin, shattering it and revealing the interior of the puppet girl’s chest.

Inside of Marionnette's chest, there lay a beautiful red shard of a substance unknown to Birdie. It pulsed and flickered with an energy that made the skin on Birdies hands tingle. She reached inside and attempted to grab it, but an immense energy rippled through her body and the faintest brush of her fingertips. Birdie was thrown backwards and she hit the wall, falling to a crumpled heap. Her arm was numb and she couldn't move her hand, probably caused by the energy wave. She lifted her head weakly and saw Marionnette crawling on the ground, frantically trying to piece her chest back together using the shattered remains on the floor. "Look what you've done... you insolent creature. I'll make sure you never..." But she dwindled off at the end, muttering inaudibly in angry tones, not even paying attention anymore as Birdie picked herself up, using the wall as support. Birdie could hardly see in the dim light, and pain racked up her arm, making it hard for her to focus on anything. But nonetheless, she had managed to stand up once more and take shaky steps towards the puppet girl who was crouched on the ground. "Marionnette," She began. Her voice gaining a new-found strength, "You will obey me!" Birdie jumped and landed on top of Marionnette, crushing her between her body and the floor, earning a scream from the girl as even more of her body cracked and broke. Marionnette pushed off of the floor with whatever was left of her arms and pulled Birdie off of her. She attempted to hit Birdie, but she found that her body was no longer functioning as it should. "What did you do to me?" She screamed, strings flailing as she tried to regain control over her body. She turned her faceless head towards Birdie who lay pitifully on the ground clutching something tight in her hand. "You will o-obey me... now...Marionnette..." She strained to speak. Birdie looked at what she was holding in her hand, and felt a rush of relief as she saw that it was the red shard that had been hidden inside of Marionnette’s chest. "Give it back! That's mine!" the puppet wailed, trying to take it back, but her legs gave out and she fell instead, sobbing and whimpering, begs and pleads escaping past her sharp pointy teeth and falling upon Birdie's ears. She lifted herself to her knees and crawled away from the shattered puppet, gripping the red shard tightly. "You will obey me and become my doll." Birdie said firmly, holding the shard threateningly. For a while the puppet girl didn't say anything, lying motionless on the floor. Appearing lifeless and unmoving, but Birdie knew better. "I said-" "I know what you said." Marionnette's voice lost its cruel quality and now sounded like a lost little girl who had been abandoned on the side of the road. "Save me..." the doll pleaded.”You have to agree to stay with me and serve me." Birdie stated firmly. There was no way she'd do anything until the puppet had made the promise. "I'll do whatever you want, I promise... just don't let me die!" Marionnette sobbed, her pride washing away. Birdie crawled over to the doll and turned her over so that she could replace the shard back in the doll's chest. The instant Birdie dropped the shard, the shattered pieces of porcelain began to drift back to Marionnette's body, fitting back into their places like a jigsaw puzzle. Then, with a pulse of light, the puppet girl disappeared, and a tiny piece of thread was wrapped around Birdie's left pinky finger. "If you need me, just untie the string and I'll come." Marionnette's voice whispered in her mind, echoing through the depths of her mind. Birdie stood up, finding that her injuries had been healed except for various cuts and scrapes that still adorned her skin.

Birdie felt her way around the walls of the chamber until she discovered the way she had come in. It took her another three hours to get out of the wretched chamber, but when she got outside, she felt more elated than she had ever felt before. The sun was long gone, leaving behind the mist covered moon to illuminate the area around Birdie. She lifted her hand slowly, staring at the simple piece of string and thinking about the horror she had gone through simply to get it. With one last glance to the entrance of the cave, she slipped her eyelids shut and fell into a gentle slumber.
