It has come around once again!
Riverruns annual Avatar contest. Soe get thinking, get creative and come join Riverruns greatest tradition.
Last years rules were well recieved and worked well, so we will be using a similar system this year.
The competetion structure/rules are as follows:
1-There is no set theme
2-You must own the items on your entry (so no tektek dream avis im afraid)
3-Entrance is FREE
4-A name for your entry is desirable but not compulsory.
5--Voting is conducted by entrants
6--You cannot vote for your own entry.
7-You have 2 weeks to submit your entries -By the end of the of April 4th GST (Gaia Set Time)
8-Entries are to posted on this Thread
The voting will be conducted via PM's. For those of you who remember last years contest, the voting system is the same. Once all the entries are in, each entrant sends a PM to me with his/her top 4 in order of 1st to 4th.
The 1st choice gains 4 points, 2nd place Gains 3 points, 3rd Place gains 2 points and 4th gains 1pt.
Once all of the Votes are in and the points are totalled. The winner is the person with the most Points.
In the event of a tie, the winner will then be the person with the most 1st place votes.
The Prizes for the contest are as follows.
1st Place: Any single current shop item (Including bundles) with value equal to or less than 1000GC
2nd Place: Any single current shop item with value equal to or less than 500GC
3rd place: Any single current shop item with value equal to or less than 250GC
There will also be a Mystery item last place consolidation prize.
Most original entry
There is a prize for entry voted as most original entry, the prize is Any single current shop item with value equal to or less than 250 GC. This way even people who do not come in the top 3 still have a chance to win something. To that end, on voting an additonal vote for most orignal entry is to be sent along with your top 4.
NOTE: Despite being host of this years event I shall be entering the competetion. However regardless of where i come, I will NOT be claiming any prizes, if i do however find myself in a prize posistion the relevant prizes will be awarded as if i had not.
e.g If i come second, second place will be awarded to 3rd and 3rd place awarded to 4th.
***Rule Amendment***:
I should have put this in when i wrote up the rule set but didn't, each user is only permitted one entry in the competition.
***Rule Amendment***
You may modify your entry as much as you like up until the closing date, at which point the entry's must be left as they are.
