"Who's laughing now assholes!?"
-Kat Lewis
[Name]Kat Lewis
[Handle]Gnosis
[Age]23
[Location]Lawrence, Kansas
[Occupation]Student
[Description]Short black hair usually contained under a hat. She likes to wear classy button ups and dark jeans, usually with a tie to bring it all together. It's hard to find her without her headphones near, either on her ears or around her neck. Her messenger bag sometimes holds books for class, but mostly just her laptop.
[Background]She has parents. A mom and a dad who are both living happy lives in Kansas City, where Kat was born. Well, their
bodies live in Kansas City, their minds? Those are somewhere in the cloud. When Kat was born her parents were around every now and then, but they had enough money to almost constantly immerse themselves in their online gaming world. They hired a nanny for their infant daughter, and proceeded to spend 98% of her life within the computer.
You won't hear Kat bitching about this however. She was given everything, money, toys, attention lavished on her by a never ending stream of nannies. But because she never bonded with her parents as a child, she has a hard time trusting people.
Not bitching about it is much different than not being bothered by something, which anyone that attempts to befriend Kat will find. All her pent up abandonment issues and the fact that her only human to human interaction is through the internet makes Kat a ticking time bomb of rage. She overreacts as only trolls on the internet do, making life miserable for any who go against her. The joy she feels from screaming at people in forums was soon to be magnified by 1000 when Ty. got there.
By the time Kat had hit college, she was mostly a recluse, coming out for classes and occasionally allowing her rarely seen roommate to drag her out. But then she discovered her hidden talent. She was tired of people? She could just program herself the perfect friend! Someone she could trust, who did what she said because it wanted the same things as Kat. Someone who wouldn't judge her by the semi-illegal things she did. And the most important thing of all, someone who could mess s**t up.
Thus was born Ty.
[Why In God's Name...?] Kat was tired of the crap she'd get on forums. She was embedded in the most perfect country in the world, her life given to her on a pedestal, and she was female, holy crap! Therefor she couldn't code for s**t, according to them anyway. "Who let you out of the kitchen?" and "Shouldn't you be having a baby or something?" were hilarious on the forums for now, but things were about to change. Think babies are funny huh? How about
these babies? Kat knew the ultimate, and most hilarious, revenge would be to create someone that did "what God intended women to do" all over their computer systems. They really never should have screwed with her, because this new b***h was going to ******** things up for EVERYONE. Kat's mood at the time? Very Pleased.
[Personality]She likes to think of herself as the 'artsy' type, but mostly that only applies to her computer programs. No 'real' friends to speak of, only a roommate she rarely sees. Her trust issues have applied themselves to any outside interactions she's ever had. The only was she can feel safe with someone is if she's created their code herself.
Simply speaking, Kat would rather talk to computer programs than real people. She isn't nervous when faced with a human, she just doesn't care, doesn't deem them worthy of her attention.
She's happy in her own constructed world, and she'll be damned if she lets anyone ruin that.
The only thing stopping her from spending all her time in the 'cloud' is a back of the mind horror that she'll end up like her parents.
