Hobbies:
Taxidermy - Going into Bebes room, you would see pink sheets, a scent of perfume, and sun pouring in from the windows on rows and rows of dead animals. It's slightly disconcerting, and can be described as intensely jarring. Most animals that Bebe chooses to perform her 'little hobby' on have already started down the journey to becoming soil, but most are still recognizable as one distinct species or another. A few are combinations of two or more animals, 'humorous presents' she's created for people that have been politely returned. Bebe believes that what she does isn't gruesome or unrefined in any way. To her, it is creating beauty and art, and people who can't appreciate it should be pitted, if anything,
Poetry - Bebe is a great admirer of poetry, and can often be found with a volume around her person. Her preference is usually for classical verses, usually romantic, or morbid in nature, but she is known to recite a 'humorous' limerick on occasion. Unfortunately, she's usually the only one who laughs, as she often decides that a 'good time' is during the most serious moments possible. She has never written her own, as her other 'art' is far more interesting to her, but takes every spare moment to flip through her dog-eared books, and is ridiculously fond of quoting verses at any moment possible.
Jump-rope - Bebe is one of those people who consider their body a temple, and makes sure to get exercise each day. She's found skipping rope to be the most enjoyable, as it's a quick, low-strain workout, easy to do in any place, and doesn't require a full team behind you. Plus it's clean, and not too undignified sport for a lady. After years of skipping daily, she's gotten quite talented, although she usually avoids jumping at speeds higher than necessary to provide a work-out. This exercise also helps her reaction speeds, and leg strength. Lately she has taken to reciting poetry as she skips, trying to time the verses to the rope.
Virtues:
Easygoing - Never getting overly worried or flustered, Bebe can take life in with a cool eye and clear head. She isn't too bothered when people lash out or insult her, and goes along happily with what people want her to do without complaint. She never seems to get angry, or upset, and can be counted on for a relaxed, friendly face in any situation. This is mostly due to her not giving too much thought to what people around her do, as they are usually background to her own thoughts, but makes her amicable and easy to get along with in most crowds.
Outgoing - Bebe doesn't mind being the center of things, in fact if she can get an audience she delights at sharing her imagination with the world at general. She doesn't care what people think of her approaching them, and is always pleased to find a sound board to bounce her voice off of. If you're shy, she'll keep the conversation going for the both of you, and is quick to approach people who she thinks look like they'll be interesting or fun. Treating friend and stranger alike, she can talk as openly with one as the other, and never seems to get tangled in preliminary introductions and awkward silences, and usually has at least a passing knowledge of whatever you might be interested in.
Ladylike - Bebe chafes at the way vulgarity and crudeness has become the social norm in our society. Growing up, she was exposed to classical literature, and draws her role models and actions from the women in them. Wherever she goes, she has a strict code of how to conduct herself according to her ideals on how to be a proper young woman. Never raise your voice, never cuss. Be polite, be refined, be respectable, be demure. Don't be undignified, preserve your modesty. She doesn't force her ideals and views on other girls, as that would be impolite and rude, and indeed sometimes enjoys watching other people making idiots of themselves in ridiculous displays, as it allows her to live a little through them. Overall, she tends to choose friends that emphasize dignity and refinement over crudeness.
Bright - Gifted from birth with a brain that functions better than most people, Bebe is approaching the higher ends of the IQ scale. She learns faster, remembers better, and generally keeps ahead of the average person with little to no effort. Never flaunting the fact, Bebe appreciates and makes use of her intellect, striving to pass her classes with flying colours (allowing her a place at the prestigious crystal academy). Outside of classes, Bebe takes a lively interest in anything that crosses her path, picking it up, looking at it, and remembering a few key interesting facts about it before dropping it and seizing something else. This has allowed her to build a rough knowledge of most common activities and interests that a young woman might run into.
Flaws:
Morbid - Do you see how it bloats after a few days? Isn't it beautiful, look at the way the skin stretches! Ahhh ~ such a sweet smell, and such an amazing way nature takes one thing and twists it, beautifully, elegantly, back into herself, back into the deep warm earthy ground! Although she doesn't usually get an opportunity (or an audience) to talk about this subject, and she realizes the danger of openly flaunting this fascination, Bebe is amazed and awed by death, by corpses, and by the cycle of nature. When she was young, she would go hunting the sides of highways for animal corpses lying around, and would hide them away, to return and watch them each day.
Uninterested - She'll smile, she'll nod, she'll pat your hand, and she won't give a s**t about your problems. Completely uninterested in anything bad that happens to people, Bebe lacks any desire to ever put herself in your shoes, she doesn't care about your heartbreak, and she certainly isn't listening to a word you say about how your parents divorce is tearing you apart. Bebe has so many things going on in her head, and she doesn't see the need to make any space in it for your issues. I mean really, if you can't be bothered to take care of you own problems, it's your own fault this is happening. Besides, she has so many other people who she can talk to who are fun! And you're so boring to her right now.
Unbalanced - Something is not right in Bebe's head. She sees the world differently from how people should, most often in small and unnoticeable ways. However, if you probe deep enough into her, it's clear to see that things are missing or wrong in her thought process. Clever enough to realize this, Bebe goes to great lengths to cover up and mislead people, keeping them at a distance to avoid unpleasant confrontations and disruptions. One of her largest problems is her lack of empathy towards other humans, and the fact that she has a incredibly difficult time viewing others people as little more than homo-sapiens, animals, amusing dancing creatures to entertain her. Most of her social problems stem from this gap between her and other people, and end up displaying themselves as her reacting to situations differently from how most people would. She also tends to treat others like you would a cat or dog, using carrot-and-stick training to get others to act how she would like them, and talking down to people. The one way Bebe finds she can understand people, and connect with their emotions, is through poetry. To her, the verses seem to make sense in a way that body language and facial expressions never could.
Fair-weather Friend - When life's good and the sun is shining, Bebe will be with you, laughing, grinning, and sharing her juice box with the tree. However, when things start to crumble apart don't expect her to stick around and watch you sigh. If you're not fun for her to be around, Bebe won't give you a backwards glance. If you pull through, she'll be back with more pretty butterflies and funny stories, but she'll disappear again the moment life gets dull for her. There are so many more interesting people around!
Eyes: Large and brown, usually half-open in a sleepy way. However, utterly obscured by her large and very thick glasses.
Hair: Purple, short and bobbed, with long strands in the front. Naturally curls at the ends, and puffy.
Face: A small round face covered in freckles.
Body: Lightly tanned skin. Short and fragile-looking. Covered in a dusting of freckles.

 Negaverse Alias: Lieutenant Sugilite
Challenge:

Uniform Colour:
Main Colour: #2F2A2E
Secondary Colour: #FFD5D5
Uniform:
Top -- A shortened version of the traditional negaverse uniform jacket, with short sleeves and shoulder pads. underneath is a low-cut blouse.
Bottoms a high-waisted skirt.
Shoes -- simple heels, with pointed toes.
Accessories -- A flower-like accessory in her hair, modeled after the center pattern in a gyroscope. Two metal rings around each wrist and ankle, one around her neck, hoop earrings, and a large metal ring resting loosely around her waist. All the rings should be vaguely gravity-defying.
Weapon -- Gyroscope
toy gyroscope > larger weapony gyroscope > spiked gyroscope she can ride on
Theme -- 50's dress style. Contains multiple elements that refer back to her weapon (metal rings and hair accessory). Skirt and blouse are based on this image.
Why the negaverse? -- Bebe has always classified other people as 'fun' or 'boring'. Apart from that, she has always felt a bit detached, and rather bored with humanity in general. A feature that has been with her from birth, her cheerful demeanor has always disguised this fact from others. Always preferring to hear her own voice over others, when she becomes corrupted she will completely loose an interest in other people's thoughts and feelings. 'Fun' people will be those who run and fight and give her a run for her money, 'boring' people are those who don't. And when she finds people boring, she has no more use for them. Either way, your starseed is hers!

Quirks:
Be inscrutable when suitable - Bebe is a master of the 'cant read me' face, with a faint smile and friendly eyes no matter what the situation. When people demand to know what she is thinking, she usually scolds their rudeness and lack of manners, but in the same amused and friendly manner that she always displays. She finds it easier to hide her emotions and feelings rather than having to explain herself, as she's found that her mind works differently from most people. Also, this allows her to make friends and interact with people without them realizing her flakeyness and disinterest in them.
Sugilite vs Bebe:
Outgoing - Sugilite is very much the cartoon villain, loud and flamboyant, and the kind who explains exactly how their death ray will activate once the timer reaches zero. Talking incessantly during fights, she tends to act more like she's at a social affair than in a battlefield.
Ladylike - As Sugilite, Bebe's self-imposed code of behavior twists into her being genteel and dainty in battle, yet with a mocking, morbid, and sadistic attitude. She has no problem with unladylike physical activities, although if possible she will avoid placing herself in a fistfight, preferring to use dainty kicks or some kind of weapon instead.
Uninterested - Not bothering to hide her disinterest in people's thoughts and feelings as Sugilite, she is cold, contemptuous and dismissive towards the pain and anger she inflicts in others. If your anguish is overwhelming, she might even find it a bit amusing! You should see the look on your face.
Unbalanced - Free from having to deal with societies reactions, Sugilite openly looks down on other people as animals. However if you're one of her targets in battle, there isn't any kindness, carrot, or petting. You're the bad dog, the one who bites and foams, and needs to be put down.
Outfits: Bebe prefers to dress in vintage 50's style dresses, in any colours. For her hair she enjoys headbands, hair ties, and silly or over-the-top accessories. She is never, ever seen in pants.

If you needed it, Bebe would give you the shirt off her back. She often showers her friends in lavish gifts (usually her idea of lavish, so they tend to border on the bizarre) and will lend you a couple of bucks at a moments notice. She loves helping with homework, giving out advice on where to get the best pair of really warm socks, and sharing her taxidermy 'masterpieces' with anyone who will take them. However, she enjoys putting together other home-made presents, and on birthdays her packages can always cause a bit of excitement, or in a few cases, small fires.
One moment it's all talk about that new antique tv show, the next moment her eyes are un-focusing and she's staring past you not listening to a word you say. Then suddenly she's back asking you what rhymes with 'eviscerate'. She promises she'll show up at your party, only to end up inviting half the people you invited to go down to the beach, the same day as the party. If she runs an errand for you, she might come back bringing a bag full of cheap plastic rings, a small dog, or maybe not come back at all. Then there are the times where she brings back exactly what you wanted. She does whatever catches her fancy at the moment, dropping responsibilities and expectations whenever she feels like it. Bebe is utterly tied up in her own little world, which is far more interesting than whatever one you happen to be in, that the most you can expect from her is a smile, a laugh, and a shrug when you confront her. She doesn't expect you to understand, or care if you do, because you don't really matter.

Hey AA.
Bebe is an interesting character, but she seems torn in two seperate directions ATM, at least to me, when I read your profile.
On the one hand, you have the "lady-like" premise of 50s attire, wanting to be prim even down to jump roping, colors, etc. On the other hand, you have the morbid and... well, I hate to call it "taxidermy" since it really seems more like Frankensteining, but that hobby.
Both of these have the potential to be fun and interesting, but they are not intertwined. Instead, they're polarized--some aspects touch all on one or the other, but no aspect touches on both.
Kind of a similiar crit in the design of her negauniform--you can see the two halves clearly, but they don't quite come together. Where does the bathing sit bottom come in and why? It doesn't seem to really fit the prim-proper feel you've given her, although the pastel pinks show that influence. Why acrobat/circusesque? Does her morbidity draw her to circuses/side shows/the like? That would make sense, but is never explained.
I think if you can find a way to mesh these two halves then Bebe will be a much stronger character. Hope this helps!

Quicksilver the Archangel Hm, well Bebe likes to think she's ladylike, but she's not entirely balanced in her views on death, and she doesn't see what she's doing to the animals as anything other than artistic, fine, and the height of beauty. I guess i should mention that in her profile. I have to admit the outfit was just a bit of fun, I didn't think too much about designing it only that it would afford movement in battle, as i find even prim, proper characters in sailor moon end up in ridiculous outfits. lol I could fiddle around a bit more with it, try and give it more of a feel similar to her preferred fashions though. X) thank you!

Ill skim it over later but lyrics in your virtues/flaws probably shoudnt be there! You can add it in an extra post but it makes the virtues/flaws incredibly hard to read and distracting! Stampers prefer people to keep to the form D:
Also, her challenge is probably way too long for the cert! It's usually a short sentence long and at max, two short sentences! <3

ah, sorry. those aren't lyrics though, they're verses of poetry, to fit with her hobby. i'd love for her to recite some in her cert, since she is always quoting, but i suppose i'd better find a shorter bit, or cut it down X)
also i tried to separate them from the actuall information visually, but i guess i can stick em down in the bottom and keep them for the day she (hopefully) gets a diary
and that makes two of us! cool

she was originally based on a spinda, and i'd seen that style being used around a lot, so i used it to represent swirly eyes for her. it works perfectly in the sailor moon universe due to melvin though!

hee hee. melvin is instantly what i thought of when i saw this xDD anyways; person: i think the taxidermy is an interesting hobby, i dont think anyone in the shop has it yet xDD but just as a curiosity, where did she pick up her love of taxidermy ? you stated she just started picking up dead things, but didnt her parents ever care to throw the animals out? i feel like if my mom saw dead things in my room she would flip xD i dunno if that applies to bebe though, because i dont know her parents o v o for her "bright" characteristic, does she offer help to those who need it? or would she consider them a boring person? rather, how is bebe about helping those who need it? just a thought for future RPs also, i find theres a bit of conflict between outgoing and uninterested/unbalanced. i cant very well see someone being outgoing if they have bad people skills. is there some way she gets around this? i definitely like the morbid and fair-weather friend flaws though. they stick out in stark contrast to her "ladylikeness" and i really like the difference. o v o (if that makes sense OTL) nega: i think her challenge is a bit long. it depends on the certist of course, but i think just "death pursues the man who flees" would be fitting enough. your choice though o 3o loving the fifties style outfit <333 i like the acrobatic sort of one more, but i think this outfit is much more fitting for her character i think the metal ring around the skirt is a bit out of place though ? i dunno, these are just style opinions, and as such you can ignore them xD as for her weapon, i dont really think she could stand on it well unless she had insane awesome balance skills. but then, im no physics major so i couldnt exactly tell you xD but i do like her weapon, i think its really creative and could do a lot of damage in its later stage it reminds me a bit of (avatar) aang's air ball thing xD her reason for joining the nega is awesome as well, i think that her fun or boring ideology is a recurring theme in the negaverse o 3o also as part of the negaverse, do you think she would be ambitious about it or not? would she work well with others? and why exactly would the negaverse want her? these are just questions to ponder and maybe jot down some ideas if you want. xD also ! i wanted to ask; do you draw all of your own art ? maybe crit back if you can too > u< hope this helped, and i hope she comes into play 8D

8D thanks! um, first off she has a abnormal family situation, i suppose i should type it out. basically, she had a very free childhood, and she took up taxidermy to change her interest in dead things from 'creepy' to 'creepy yet socially acceptable through tradition'
um, bright yeah she's fine with helping people, if they can get her interest for long enough.
she IS uninterested but she tries to camouflage her disinterest and distance from people by acting outgoing and friendly, plus she always loves to hear her own voice. X)

aand the ring around the waist is supposed to relate back to her weapon, and the balancing is supposed to be the 'magic' part of the weapon. smile
uhh, nega, she'd be pretty uninterested in rank and the actual war part, and only focus on 'having fun'. um, i'd say they would want her because she does what needs to be done, keeps a cool head in battle, won't let her emotions interfere, and generally be reliable to be efficient in combat. um, she'd work with others without complaint, but probably isn't reliable at all when her life is on the line X)
