i feel that participation in this guild isn't that great, which is okay. but comparing that number to the number of actual members, there is a HUGE difference.
i wanted to change this. do any of you guys have any ideas on how to do this?
ex. games, debates, etc.

I am busy, which doesn't leave me much personal time. The personal time I do manage to use for gaia is generally directed toward friends and my primary guild, Proud Christians of Gaia, since I am the vice captain.
A lot of people are probably just busy.

I'm sooooo sorry. My aunt got married and I'm now a freshman with algebra 2 homework every...friggin...day.
And I was hit with a terrible case of writer's block. I'll get something up here sometime.

Firstly, I wanted to apologize.
I didn't mean to intrude your personal lives.
I just thought participation should be more apparent.
Secondly, you didn't have to explain to me your problems.
I have no right to know what goes on in your personal lives, unless you wanted to share stories about it, of course.
Otherwise, I'm more than ears. I'm willing to learn more about your lives.
Thirdly, I was simply just looking for ideas.
I'm glad that you guys are willing to tell me explanations of reasons why participation has been so little.
This makes me happy.
So any ideas on participation?

I'm in another guild that does that. I'll start that up asap! I like the idea.

I like the idea. oh I like it! but adding to it do one for each type of writing, poetrry verses stories or whatever cause I don't think it would be fare to judge a poem against a story. =] heart also other types of compettions, like mini avi contests, or trivia compettions. That's some of the things I do with my guild and people seem to like them

Who would be the judges of the challenges? I'm volunteering to be one!!
Also, I love the contest/trivia copmetitions, BUT, what if people don't volunteer?
I guess we can give them a shot!

Hey guys... sorry for being gone for almost 2 months, maybe even more... had some personal struggles to deal with, but thanks to God's never-ending grace and love, I'm back and at peace.
Um, I don't know what to suggest, except maybe something related to Christmas? Maybe have a Christmas song making contest? eek
