Personality:
She was born in a forest in a middle of nowhere. Her family, loves her very much. Until the age of 6. Because at the age of 7, she goes to school, and she got a singing lesson! She showed her whole family her singing. And all of them... Passed out. Freaky? You betcha'. She looks like a 9 years old girl, even she is 13 years old. She loves to help people, and she thinks her singing is.... BEAUTIFUL!!!! But when someone criticize her about her singing (expect for her mom, she's afraid of her!).... She will became super mad! What she will do? She will jumped high, bash her criticizer with her wooden forest hand (that became bigger), and sings at the same time. The result? Well, don't ask. She cares more for other people than she is, and she dares to protect her friends, family, from the enemy that is even stronger than her.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Leera's mom, can't stand her daughter's horrible voice!!! All of her sons and daughters have beautiful voice (even for a monster... Weird much!). Leera once sings in the court (she's on a singing contest), which is full of people, and her sound makes the whole people in the court dizzy. Leera wants to learn to sing well, and use her 'singing' as an advantage (really?). She also wants to learn more how to fly (she can only jump from high places, and then glide), and use her wood hand bash (she can make her hand bigger, in case of emergencies (which... She can't use her wodden bash hand real well...). So she asks her mother to go to Amityville Academy, and the whole family accepts.
FEAR: WODDEN HAND BASH!!!!
Leera has a super strong wodden hand. She can use her hand, to use as a.... Advantage. If she used it, her hand will turn big, and look liked roots, but bigger and stronger. But if she fails, her hand will be same.
Physical Description: Looks like a little girl, with her left part of the body (includes hands and feet/foot only) is wood. The other sides are normal. There are also some branches in her messy hair. She has a dwarf - ish ears.
Eye Colour: Moradito and also black. See ref. for eyes refrence.
Hair Colour/Style: Strawberry Sauce. Messy hair, with a few little branches on her hair.
Skin Colour: ? (click for color, on her normal parts of the body) and also ?? (click for color, on her 'wood'skin).
Clothing Style/Colours: The clothing style are still the same, but the colors of the clothes (clothes includes : scarf on her neck, shirt / somethin, skirt, and bracelet) are dark green. And also, add a pumpkin pin to her neck, colored dark orange, or usual pumpkin color. For her wings, color it dark green, but darker than the clothes.
Extra: Dwarf ears (color = see normal skin color), branches on her hair (color = see wood skin color, for leaves, add a light green, see ref.). She also has a tattered little wings (color = see clothing style).

Monstropedia Might be useful to you if you want to look at existing nature species and see if there's anything that appeals to you, instead of just referring to her as "monster". I haven't sorted through all of them, but there may be something similar to what you're looking for. ((Though I don't think you want the Sheela na Gigs)). I don't understand why her forest has a different calender than Halloween, since monsters are -from- the Halloween Setting, with the exception of some ghosts and similar undead, who don't get much memory, if any, of the human world. I might skip the horrible signing as a Fear, and replace it with her ability of changing the size of her wooden hand. Again, auto hit is totally unfeasible, but it would be an effective tactic. I imagine an good weakness would be making it somewhat slow moving though, given the weight. Again, you need to take a more careful check of spelling and grammar, but these are a couple things I might consider checking out.

your first part for your personality should be:
"Her family loves her very much until the age of seven, when..."
does she have any tolerance if someone insults her singing? it doesn't seem that she'd have a lot of friends if she attacked everyone who insulted her singing. i mean, if she sucks so badly, i doubt people will say it sounds good.
why would she protect her family if they didn't love her because of her voice? o . o
how did she get her fear ability- is a natural gift for her species?
how did she find out about the academy, and is she going there specifically to learn how to learn how to combat? ;<
she doesn't seem to have a reason to want to get stronger besides improving, which is a bit too general.

care to crit back? c; Yeah, ill' crit ya back. But, here some stuff i wanna say: 1. She doesn't have many friends. But i ment, the people around her keep teasing her, so she became mad. Thx for reminding of the 'friend' part. 2. Ok, lets just put a sample about family stuff. Imagine you had a stepmother, and you hate her. But still, she loves you , and wanted to protect you, because you are part of the family. Got it? 3. Hmmm.... Well, some of wood monsters had part of their body as wood, but not much. SO it can be considered a great gift for lucky ones (but the power of forest magic is the luckier ones!). 4. She found it out when her brother (when she still has him), told her that she wants to go to amityville academy, so he can surpass her, and even the gods! 5. Yes, she is going to learn more about combat and also some singing lessons. 6. Well, she does have another thing to improve, her voice!
