"Tarooo," he dragged out, sprawled out on the floor, panting lightly, "I..need...food. ...and a shower." Shin finally got the motivation to sit up, glancing over at the Rattata next to him, their clothes laying in various parts of the large room. He hadn't intended to come back to the boy's house since the night they'd had to deal with the 'boring man', but already he'd been back a few times now to 'discuss business'. It really was his intention to discuss business at first, until they were left alone behind closed doors. They didn't get to do what they had come to do after that, and it ended up like this.

The Haunter got up off the floor after a moment, walking over to snag his pants up off the floor near the wall and sliding them back on, tilting his head a bit in thought before glancing back over at the boy.
"How about pizza. It's 'commoner' food but it's not bad," he teased, grinning a little. Truthfully, Shin hadn't had pizza in quite a while. He usually just snacked here and there throughout the day since he was almost always moving around and doing something, so some 'actual food', if that's what you'd call it, sounded kind of good for a change. He looked around for his coat, moving over after spotting it next to the door and crouching down next to it to pull out his phone, flipping it open. He'd just finished dialing the pizza place's number before he spotted some motion through the keyhole in the door in front of him, smirking a little deviously.

"Heeeeellooo~" he said after the other end picked up, leaning a little to peak through the keyhole, spotting some maids shuffling around. "I'd like one large 'Supreme' pizza sent to the following address," he ordered after chuckling to himself, standing back up and giving the address of the Rattata's mansion home. "Thank you~~" he finished, flipping the phone shut and sticking it back in his coat. "I ordered one with everything on it, you can scrape off what you don't want," he said, smiling a little, "Now I'm off to take a shower." The Haunter turned back and flung open the doors after a moment, grinning a little deviously at the gathered maids in front of the door. "Why hello ladies~ See or hear anything interesting during your stay~?" he asked teasingly. The maids eyes went a little wide having been caught, their faces turning an amusing shade of red before dashing off down the hall with a few squeaks, acting as if they'd been working the whole time. Shin chuckled to himself before closing the doors behind him, walking down the other end of the hall towards the shower.

There was nothing luxurious about being a pizza delivery boy, when he wasn't delivering he was helping in the back packing away the made pizza's to be delivered & since he was only 16 & had no car he was left to do this on his two wheels. A mere bike was his only means of transportation & it was hard on his body considering he had little to no meals everyday, he was only lucky his boss was nice enough to spare him pizza every now & then. It wasn't healthy, but the high calories sure did provide him for a while when the drugs wore off. Just as he finished packing another pizza away he heaved a heavy sigh securing the warming box but turned his head slightly as he listened to another employers conversation on the phone, apparentally yet another order being made. He whined mentally, throwing a crying fit, but remained calm on the outside or as calm as he could while giving out a heavy sigh just as the employer called to him. "Gais! We got another order! Supreme to a Taro Nezumi!" The older Shuckle male grinned deviously as he called back to the Teddiursa, waving the paper with writing on it in the air. It was like that guy was out to make his life even more miserable than it was already, he hated every blonde hair on that guys head, even those stupidly odd pink eyes of his that always mocked him.

With a tired & strained frown he trudged over, swiping the paper away & crumbling in his grasp. It probably wouldn't be this bad of an emotional strain, not just mentally but physically, if it wasn't for the fact he was crashing, & anyone who knew his secret would be able to tell by the shaking in his hands as he continued forth slipping a premade warmed supreme pizza from an oven into a cardboard box & walking it to the thermal heated box. "I'm going out now then." His voice showed obvious exhaustion as he called out to the other employers, placing the last box in the thermal one that was now completely full. "None of the money should be missing this time Gais, I don't want to have to rat you out to the boss again." Another more feminine voice piped up, but upon further inspection would see it was a guy, a rather pretty one at that whom no one had any idea why he was even working here. The Slugma always seemed concerned for Aret's well being, luckily for the Teddiursa. "Got it." He lazily called back, slouching his way out of the door with the black thermal box in his hands. He waited until he was outside & placed the pizza boxes into his basket on his bike before slipping around the corner of the Pizza Parlor where no light reached. It was a perfect creepers spot, & Aret was already partially one.

With an over exasperated grin he reached behind him into his 'tail', popping it open swiftly & pulling out a syringe & black tying elastic. In a hurried, shaking manner he tied the elastic tightly around his arm, slapping it a few times & sticking the needle into his arm, feeling the sweet embrace of the drug take over once again. A faint smile rushed over his face as his eyes clouded over, a heaved sigh of relief came as he slowly removed the syringe & untied the elastic, placing both back into his 'tail'. Once his deed was done he slipped back out of the darkened side of the parlor & hopped onto his bike, all the exhaustion seemed to have just slipped away, & whether that was a good thing or not didn't concern him as usual, instead he pedaled quickly down the streets. One by one he dropped off each pizza & came to the last one, stopping in front of a mansion. Just before he hopped off his bike he took out the paper again & looked over the address, & back up at the mansion. "Mmm, I guess this is it. But why is someone like this ordering pizza...?" He murmured to himself while scratching his head in confusion, then slipped off his bike, stuffing the paper back into his pocket & retrieving the box as he made way to the door, not wasting a second to ring the door bell. His orange & gold flecked eyes couldn't help but wander while he waited. It wasn't often he got to see such a high class place.

His hips were sore, his arms were sore. In fact, every part of him was sore. Taroro didn't have a single drop of energy left in him. As the Rattata lay motionless on the ground, he could hardly find enough energy to glance back at the Haunter while he made his comment. How could he still be so lively after what they just did? As usual, his 'assistant' never failed to amuse him. The boy was definitely worn out. Not that he could complain about it though. What was supposed to be a meeting, turned out to be something much different. How it ended up this way, the boy couldn't remember very well. Or at least, he tried not to.

Taroro laid on the floor, back towards the ground and tried to compose himself while the man did whatever he had to do. He stared up at the ceiling for a brief moment, then his eyes searched around the room, until it met with the Haunter. The man was ordering.. Pizza? It wasn't that the boy didn't know what it was or knew nothing about it but rather, he didn't eat pizza very often. Especially not delivered ones. The boy flipped around on the cold floor for a moment, before finding the energy to push most of himself off the ground. Even though he was feeling slightly lethargic, the boy was actually strangely refreshed. His mind was clear and he was in a pretty good mood. Staring blankly at the Haunter while the purple haired man made his way out of the room, he noticed a few maids scrambling away and sighed, his face turning a little pink. "Even after I told them not to..." The Rattata mumbled to himself, eyes still locked onto the door, until Shin shut it and left to take a shower. The maids were there the first time they did it too, it didn't take long for the boy to find out that they knew. Especially when they started giggling every time he walked past them or blush when they brought him snacks. Even his father was acting a little differently towards him...

Shaking the thought off, he searched around the floor for his black shirt and pants, grabbing them and slipping only his shirt back on. There was a reason why he couldn't reuse his pants but he didn't want to think about it. Instead, he tossed it to one side and rummaged through his closet for another one. The closet was neat, arranged weekly by the servants and sometimes, Taroro himself. It was convenient to search for the things he needed and it simply made things easier for him. Putting on a new pair of white shorts, he moved himself towards his bed and threw himself on it. The Rattata could really use a shower and a nap right now but since they were going to have pizza and the Haunter would probably take up the pizza's delivery time in the shower, he had nothing to do.

Not long before the boy was about to doze off to sleep, the doorbell rang and the boy awoke in alarm. His eyes widened, staring at the wall on the other side of his room for a moment before his mind finally realized. "That must be the Pizza." Quickly, he pushed himself off the bed, grabbing some cash from his wallet. Then rushed towards the door, making his way out towards the main hall. A servant had already beat the Rattata to the door and the girl stared at Taroro, wearing a confused expression on her face.
"It was Shin..." The boy added, receiving a nod and a giggle from the maid before she walked off to continue her duties. Sulking a little, Taroro turned his attention to the half opened door and was greeted by the sight of a frail looking brown haired boy, with a crescent pinned to his fringe and what seemed to look like bear ears.

His eyes moved down towards the pizza box in the petite boy's hands. No mistake, it was definitely the pizza they had ordered. Smiling, the Rattata asked, " I assume it's the pizza with 'everything' on top?" He only said that to criticize the Haunter, only to make himself feel slightly happier, not that he wasn't already. "Anyway," The boy laughed softly, not wanting the Teddiursa to get confused by his awkward remark towards the pizza. " Here's the money," He slipped a hundred dollar bill into the boy's hands while he took the box with his free hand, away from the small boy. "Keep the change," he added with another soft smile, before shutting the door. It wasn't because Taroro had the money to waste, but he kind of felt that the boy needed it. A Hundred would probably be more than enough for the pizza and the boy both.

It didn't take long for the door to open, making the drug induced male slowly look back to the door & stare blankly forgetting why he was even standing there but came to when he felt the heat in his hands. "Oh!" The Teddiursa quickly reached into his pocket as he continued to speak holding the pizza with his free hand. "I have an order for-" Just as he was about to read off the name a purple haired male came to the door saying it was Shin, & double checked his paper to find the names to be different leaving him lost. "Uh-" He was cut off again as he seemed to make some sort of joke by his expression, making the male give him a quizzical look & if he was in a better physical state of mind he probably would have made a small sexual statement about the 'everything' being on top to the pretty face. Maybe try & catch another bed to sleep in, maybe even a few days, but was currently too lost to even think of anything. The Teddiursa remained silent jumping slightly when a hundred dollars was passed to him instead of the just the mere $5 he was supposed to have gotten. Shocked his eyes looked at it as if it were a precious jewel worth millions, or perhaps a buffet of his favorite foods, but snapped his attention back up briefly as the male again told him to keep the change. His orange eyes locked onto his as the door started to close, looking a bit as if he was asking if it was really okay, but that smile seemed so sincere & kind & full of... pity. Where it would probably anger others, it touched him so much he just wanted to thank him but instead started crying on the spot with a smile in place. It had to be his lucky day.

As creepy as it may have been he stood there for a few minutes staring at the door as if Taro was going to come back out, then look at the money in his hands, it was enough to buy some food, maybe enough left over for refills on his drugs, but he'd have to figure out how much would go where. After all his addiction wasn't cheap. Finally he started to walk away back to his bike, staring at the money the whole way, but packed it away in his 'tail' just before hopping back onto his bike & speeding off away from the mansion with his new cash. Sometime after dropping off the money from the deliveries he slipped away from his job after requesting to be let off early, but before taking off anywhere again he had to secure his high & replayed his ritual, injecting the drug into his body but this time slipped a few pills after as well, something further known as "ecstacy" something he took before feeding to intensify the flavors & feel of everything. It was all so addicting & felt amazing. With another contented sigh he smiled wider & headed off to a restaraunt, but took much longer having stopped at everything that caught his interest, making people stare but he was soon off again after & finally arrived to said restaraunt that was famous for it's sweets. If there was anything he loved more than his drugs it was honey & sweets.

Not bothering to put his bike's kick stand down he dropped it & charged forth into retaraunt not wasting a second to grab a seat & start ordering a long list of foods forgetting all about his drug doses getting low, becoming more worried over his empty stomach & all the calories he could ingest. As expected the food was amazing, to him almost orgasmic & unshamingly showed it even though many people were staring in disgust or confusion. The meal seemed to have taken longer than needed to eat with how slowly he ate it but by the time he left the place, leaving his hundred behind for the bill, it was getting dark & he had a full stomach that felt as if it was to burst at the small poke to it. It kind of hurt which made him wince & without much thought to it slipped in a dark alley to take morphine along with a little cocaine, unfortunately he lost track of how much he was taking & started feeling a bit drowsy, slowly leaning against the wall for support which held so support in the end as he slid down it & fell asleep. A sleep he wouldn't wake from by morning, or perhaps not any time so soon as it turned from a slumber to a coma leaving his drugs out in the open.

He was on his way back to Taro's room from the shower, ruffling his hair a bit with a towel when he caught sight of the boy walking quite a ways ahead of him. Shin was going to call out to the Rattata carrying the pizza box but caught sight of something in his peripheral vission. Glancing over, he noticed a boy standing on the other side of the main door, though it wasn't exactly easy to see through the door window since it was a decent distance away. But, something bothered him about the look he could vaguely make out on the boy's face. His eyes squinted a little, trying to get a better look before darting back over to his 'boss' who'd just returned to his room. His eyes wandered back over to the apparent 'pizza delivery boy' suspiciously, watching as he finally retreated from the door.

Shin didn't usually let his emotions cloud his judgement, nor was he ever very territorial, but something was bothering him about the look the pizza boy had on him, and he didn't really like it. But, he shrugged it off, for now, and went back to walking down the hall and into the Rattata's room, putting a grin on his face at the sight of the pizza, and secretly, Taro.

______________

It was morning now, the light coming in through that same window it always did. The Haunter had slept over, again. He didn't really want to make a habit of staying at someone else's place, but he had to admit that he didn't mind, since it was Taro's. Besides, the two of them had clearly crossed a variety of lines between 'boss' and 'assistant' already, why not just cross a few more? At least, that's how Shin saw it, anyway. He finally stirred, sitting up in the bed after a moment and rubbing his eyes with a hand, that familiar alarm clock going off. The Rattata had work today, and he intended to tag along at least some of the way, until he had to head in a different direction for his own 'work'.

Shin finally slid off the bed, stretching out with a yawn before turning to glance over at his 'boss', chuckling a bit at his morning face. He eventually wandered off and took a morning shower, he seemed to be taking them quite a bit lately, and found his way back to the boy's room. He quickly got dressed and made his way back to the large staircase that was laid out just before the main door, waiting for his companion to finish his morning routines. The Haunter was already pretty awake, and probably had more energy than the boy would've preferred for him to have. With a grin, he greeted his 'boss' and followed after him as they started heading out to the city.

________________

At some point in their walking, Shin caught sight of a familiar looking patch of hair. If it was styled some other way he probably wouldn't have recognized it, and if the person it belonged to hadn't left an impression on him, he probably wouldn't have remembered it as well as he did. His eyes glanced over into an alleyway that Taro and him were passing, spotting a familiar looking figure laid out on the ground and leaned against a wall, pausing in his steps. For a minute, his face was expressionless. He wasn't really surprised, if anything he was a little amused. His eyes eventually spotted the drugs that were in plain sight, becoming even more amused. But, Shin was going to wait. If it was just him, he'd probably leave the boy. He wasn't in the habit of 'picking up strays', nor did he really care, but he wasn't by himself, he was with Taro. The Rattata's reaction would have to determine his own actions. Though, he vaguely worried that the boy would see the Teddiursa as a sort of 'injured animal', in which case they'd probably get involved with someone he'd rather not get involved with, for more than one reason.

"I can't believe I let you stay over again..." The boy groaned, his eyes half opened and staring back at Shin as soon as the alarm clock went off. Trying to clear his head from sleep, he stared blankly at the man for a moment, before slipping out from under covers himself. He was far too worn out to head off to work today but if he wanted money in his pocket, he had better be there. Having Shin over the night before work was draining up his energy. Maybe next time, he would think twice before allowing the Haunter to 'visit' the mansion.
As the man went on doing his morning routines, so did the boy. Still feeling slightly drowsy from sleep, he decided to take a shower right after the Haunter was done with his. He glared at the man as they passed on their switch from the bedroom to the bathroom. Taroro hadn't been enough of a 'boss' towards the Haunter lately and he was starting to miss it. What ever happened to the hatred he had felt towards the man before?

The refreshing warm shower was just what he needed. He was a little slower to prepare compared to his 'assistant', but he didn't mind letting the man wait. In fact, he was happy to. Making his way back to the bedroom, the Rattata slipped into his usual clothes and fixed his hair in the wall mirror next to his closet before heading out to the main hall. By the time he got there, the Haunter was already waiting for him, apparently looking livelier than usual. Taroro replied the man's expression with a sharp glare and walked past him, out of the door where he slipped on his shoes. Making his way in his usual direction, with no help from a car to reach his destination. He didn't need to have a driver to fetch him there, the boy wasn't spoiled like other rich kids.

___________________________________________________________

As they got closer to their destination, at some point, the Haunter had paused in his steps, his attention was somewhere else, other than the path in front of him. The Rattata was curious to see what had caught the man's attention and just as the Haunter did, the boy peered into the ally way, noticing a familiar figure lying beside the wall. Taroro's golden eyes widen for a moment. What a surprise, it was the delivery boy from yesterday. At least, he thought it was. Without regard for his company, the Rattata made his way towards the motionless figure, making sure that it was the same person he was thinking of. Sure enough, it was. He bent down, meeting the Tediursa at eye level. His expression turned soft, like how it always looked when he was facing an injured animal or an abandoned one. Placing his hand over the boy's neck, he sighed. Even though his skin was cold, the brown haired boy was still very much alive, probably in a coma of some sort.

The younger boy looked frail, weak and defenseless. It didn't take long for the Rattata to finally give in to his soft side, picking the boy up bridal-style as if out of habit from picking up all those animals. At least the boy wasn't heavy, unlike a certain someone who he had to drag all the way to a hotel. "I'm heading home first," he told the Haunter, looking back at the sleeping Tediursa, his expression still soft. It wasn't unusual for the Rattata to bring animals home and treat them until they were fully recovered. However, he wasn't very familiar with treating people. Aside from Shin, who was probably one of the first few he had tended to. But he couldn't help himself, he couldn't just leave the boy there. Knowing himself, he would feel guilty if he did and he didn't like that feeling. "And don't bother following me." He added, his tone being as serious as ever. Paying no attention to what the Haunter had to say after that, Taroro made his way back in the direction of his mansion. The Rattata was surprisingly strong for a boy of his frame, so carrying the boy back wasn't much of a problem for him.
__________________________________________________________

Since his bedroom was probably the safest place to keep the unconscious Tediursa, Taroro placed the boy gently onto his bed, at the same time, calling for one of the servants to fetch him a towel and some ice water. Looking over the boy, the Rattata couldn't help but feel slightly pitiful for him. What could possibly have happened to the boy? Why was he even there? These questions, he would find out the answers to them later.
After setting the cold towel on the sleeping boy's head, Taroro grabbed a chair and took a seat beside the bed, folding his arms as he did. It was actually a good thing that he had to miss work today. The Rattata didn't think he would be able to survive the whole day. He was strangely exhausted.

His eyes watched the Rattata, but observed the Teddiursa more carefully. They darted back up to his 'boss's' face after he finally spoke, sighing inwardly once he was making his way back in the direction they had just come from. He took a few steps into the alley, near where the Teddiursa was laying, and slid a hand into one of his pockets for a moment, pulling out a piece of paper and reaching over to pick up the syringe that was lying in the open. He was a little surprised that the boy hadn't noticed it when he was examining the Teddiursa, but then again, Taroro was still young and not always as observant as Shin wished he would be.

Shin examined the syringe for a moment before fishing a ziplock bag out of another pocket. He always carried a variety of things on him, for reasons he couldn't even understand. The oddest of things had the habit of coming in handy at the strangest of times, at some point he just finally stopped questioning it. He gathered up the small amount of drugs lying on the ground with the syringe and put it all in the bag, zipping it closed and tossing the piece of paper aside. After putting the bag into a pocket he exited the alleyway, glancing down the street for a moment before heading in the opposite direction that Taro had. He wasn't too worried, the Teddiursa would probably be out for a while longer, just enough time for him to find out some 'helpful little things' about the pizza delivery boy. And so, he carried on his way, though walking faster than usual.

_____________________

It was just about noon when he finally reached the increasingly familiar mansion, not bothering to knock and just stepping inside, taking his shoes off at the door. He had to at least be respectful, somewhat, and it was all he could really do to help himself since his 'boss' probably wasn't going to want to see him. Either way, he kept walking, up the stairs and down the hall, repeating the same entry with the Rattata's bedroom doors, walking in without knocking.

His eyes immediately looked for the Teddiursa, spotting him on Taroro's bed and somehow still in his coma-like state, for now. The Haunter glanced back over at his 'boss' soon after.
"I need to speak with you about that 'animal' you took in," he half joked, because he knew why Taroro had taken him in, but his face and voice were serious for the most part. "Now." he finished, walking back outside of the room to wait for his 'boss'. Shin didn't take the time to find out everything about the boy, he found himself getting fidgety after a bit, but he had learned some...interesting basic information about the 'pizza delivery boy'. Though he was trying to keep his mind on 'business', it kept wandering. He really didn't like the fact that the Teddiursa was lying on Taroro's bed. He was feeling a little...jealous? Not enough to make him act rashly, but it wasn't comfortable, though he tried not to think about it.

You know how you can still hear & feel everything when your in a coma? Oh wait... Maybe not. It was all faint, but Aret could hear voices talking, each sounding as if they were speaking into a hollow cave, & everything felt as if it were really happening, but as much as Aret knew, he was just tripping right now. Or he thought any way, he had to be right? It was odd, a dream where you could feel & hear everything, but everything was black as night. Everything seemed to change from cold & hard to warm & soft, excluding the new constant cold feeling over his forehead. It was almost seeming less & less like he was tripping that it was really happening & that he was merely sleeping... or trapped into sleeping. The feeling lasted a long time, listening to various echoing voices as they spoke & heard the name Taro spoke over & over. He knew he'd heard the name before, but couldn't place where... He was very sure he'd heard it. Very sure. When he couldn't place the name with a place or face, he figured maybe if he could wake & see who this "Taro" was maybe it'd make more sense. "U-uh..." He moaned quietly while he fought his eyelids to open, but just as quickly regretted opening them as the light shot a horrible pain into his head, it immediatly causing him to shut his eyes again for a moment & reopen them enough to see & adjust to the light.

His orange colored eyes roamed the room, finding it all to be very... regal... expensive looking... then wandered further stopping on a pretty face, one he quickly recalled now. It was the boy from last night, the one who gave him the hundred, the same hundred he used for... food. With that train of thought he mentally cursed at himself knowing he was getting low on his drugs, now he was completely out of money & he was screwed. The best he'd be able to do was find someone to share with. But that matter was pushed away once he realized he was staring at the boy rather blankly, & it probably wasn't a pleasant sight. Aret sat up once he realized that, but again regretted the action made as another pain shot through his head, causing him to draw a hand to the pained area & to squeeze his eyes shut as the cloth on his forehead plopped onto his lap. "Ta ta ta..." He murmured through clenched teeth until the pain subsided & remained at a dull throbbing. Slowly his eyes opened to a slit & glared at his free shaking hand. Seemed withdrawals were already kicking in. "Ouuuu... That hurt..." He whined softly, letting his other hand drop & join his other shaking hand, while slowly looking around once more. This wasn't a dream after all, & the boy from last night was still there, but how did he get here? & where exactly was this? "Uhm... Where... am I?" Though the feeling was something he was used to, waking up somewhere unfamiliar, it didn't hurt to ask... usually.

With the Tediursa still asleep and nothing exciting going one, Taroro was about to doze off on his chair from the lack of activity. Before he knew it, it was already noon. The room was quiet, at least until Shin suddenly pushed through the door. It almost made the Rattata jump out of his seat and his head immediately turned back to face the Haunter that had just entered uninvited. When the man announced that he had to speak with him, almost in a demanding voice, the boy's expression got serious. Taroro knew the Haunter pretty well. He knew what the man might have been doing during his 'free time' away from the boy. Digging up information. Most probably about the brown haired boy who was sleeping on his bed. Having mixed feelings about receiving the information, he stood up from his chair reluctantly. But as soon as he did, he heard a voice, one that moaned of pain and he turned his attention back to the bed.

The Tediursa was finally awake. Taroro felt his heart leap, completely losing interest in the Haunter and what the man needed to tell him. Yet again, his soft side was taking over and he bent over to pick up the towel from the boy's lap, placing it back onto the bedside table together with the cold water. Then, smiling warmly at the boy, he answered his question. "You're in my house. The mansion you delivered to yesterday." The Rattata said, hoping that his house wouldn't be forgotten so soon, not likely though. The lavender haired boy's smile faded and he looked calmly at the male that was on his bed. He didn't want to seem weird taking care of a boy he had only known existed yesterday. Taroro didn't know what say, now that the boy was up. Honestly, he was hoping the boy would sleep a little longer so he could come up with a good enough explanation for why he brought him here. The Rattata didn't quite know why himself. Maybe it was because he treated the Tediursa like an injured animal. The reason 'I just felt like I needed to take care of you', probably wasn't going to cut it either.

"Stay here until you get better." his voice a little demanding, yet at the same time, gentle. That was just the way the Rattata was. He disliked people saying no to him but he probably couldn't object if the boy told him that. After all, he brought the Tediursa here without his consent. "That is, if you want to." Taroro added, smiling at the boy again. Yes, he was acting the way he usually treated an animal. All nice and full of smiles, very differently from when he was with other people. It was a little awkward acting the same way he did with a person. Animals couldn't refuse or even talk for that matter. So taking care of this boy would be something new, yet not so new to him. Although like any other animal he had taken care of, he would have to let them go eventually, no matter how reluctant he was or how attached he had grown towards them.

Shin was paused outside the door, leaning near the frame and listening. He was starting to see where this was going, at least for Taro. The Teddiursa was a bit of an anomaly, a risky one at that. It wasn't so much because he himself didn't really seem to like the boy, though he really wasn't fond of him, but for another reason entirely. From what he gathered earlier in the day, the Teddiursa was mixed up in a few things, some of which were in his pocket in that same ziplock bag he'd used earlier. Shin had never dealed drugs, but he was somewhat aware of what they could do, both when the person was on them, off them, and was going through withdraws. But it kind of varied person to person, so he wasn't exactly sure how the boy would react once his body had reached its limit. There was also Taro's reputation to consider. Having it get around that he'd taken in someone caught up in such things wouldn't be good for him, or his father, and Shin didn't want to have to deal with either of those. It was also somewhat Shin's job to keep information like that from getting out, which would put an unwanted strain on his usual business. He sighed a little to himself, glancing down at the floor in thought.

The Haunter's eyes darted back to the opening to the Rattata's room as he overheard his little 'demand', crossing his eyes briefly before sighing again.
'Of course, of course. I should be used to you making my job difficult by now,' he thought to himself, pinching the bridge of his nose with a hand. 'Do I tell him now or later? Should I try and get rid of the Teddiursa? Then again...' he thought some more, smirking a little deviously to himself, 'this might get interesting.' He wasn't out to cause trouble...Who was he kidding? Of course he was out to cause trouble, at least the usual him was. A part of him was worried about his 'boss' though, which wasn't like the 'usual' him.

"Why am I acting so..ugh," he muttered to himself before standing up from the wall and walking back over to stand in the doorway. "Glad to see you're up, sunshine," he teased, a little stiff. Something about the boy was really rubbing him the wrong way, but he was trying to behave himself.

When he was explained to that the place he was at was the Rattata's home, he looked around again. He couldn't get over how nice the place looked. "So this is what it looks like from the inside." Mentally Aret was stuck in his child stage, more so because he hadn't had the chance to actually be one. It was always business... drugs... violence... & sex. But despite his throbbing head, he smiled energetically towards the other male pretty much embracing the nostalgic feeling of being in a strangers home. It was better than the streets at least. That's what he told himself everytime, but it wasn't often he was taken in by someone so kind. In fact, he kind of hated it cause it only reminded him of the woman who helped him 2 years ago. Even if she would have taken him in, he was still a minor & that Nidoking already seemed like competion to begin with. It couldn't be helped, but he was very grateful at the time, that is until he got back to his house. He wouldn't even call it "home".

The frail Teddiursa couldn't help but perk up even more as he was basically demanded to stay, but then turned out it was his choice to stay or not. He wanted to, but where was the fun in it being his choice? It was always stay for a day or two or get the hell out. More woman though allowed him to stay & spare a few meals, but nothing more since he had the tendancy to eat them out of house & home by mistake. "It's really okay... for me to stay?" If it were possible, his eyes seemed to give off a shine, almost as if eager like a puppy ready to play. Of course this would only make his drug addiction harder to feed, but right he was being offered a place to stay, which meant a cozy bed & food. Plus it may not be so bad staying in the same place as this guy, he was really nice after all. It would just come down to somehow making contact with someone to bring him more refills for his many acquired drugs. Withdrawals were always painful after all, & the only way he knew how to stop the pain was to keep feeding it. Hoever his moment of the question came to a halt as some other guy made an appearance & bid him a good morning, but his voice was anything but kind, which made him pout & cross over an idea that seemed likely to him since it wasn't the first time it had happened to him. "Don't tell me I've walked in between a couple again..." He muttered, but quickly realized he said that out loud & chuckled softly out of nervousness.

"Uh... Taro...?" Aret questioned before continuing as he glanced back at the Rattata. "Who's that?" This time he asked about the other standing at the door, pointing a shaky finger towards him with a pout. Who ever it was didn't seem at all too happy about something. Was it him being here?

The boy almost looked like a puppy when he asked Taroro if he could really stay. At least the boy resembled an animal of some sort, aside from the 'bear ears' pinned onto his head. It made it easier for the Rattata to treat him. Since he wasn't so used to taking care of people, he could imagine he was taking care of a talking animal instead. The lavender haired boy let out a soft laughter, "Of course." he told the Tediursa, smiling at the boy again.

But just as he did, he heard a familiar voice come from behind him. It was the Haunter, speaking in his usual teasing tone of voice. It seemed a little different somehow, but it didn't matter. Or did it? The boy could hear very clearly what the brown haired male had said, making Taroro flinch, his face getting a little redder. "W-We're not a couple!" He stammered, not wanting the boy to mistake them for some lovey dovey couple, or anything like that. Because they weren't, at least, that was what the Rattata thought. If anything, their relationship would consist of mostly business and once in awhile, surprise 'attacks'. The reply was pulled out on a whim, his mouth kind of let it slip out. But what did the boy mean by, 'again'...? Glancing back towards the Haunter's direction, he gave the man a glare, sort of like a death glare. He was always though on the man, even after they had gone so far, Taroro never treated him any differently from when they first met. He was just too afraid to bore the man and it soon became a habit for him.

Turning back to answer the boy's question, the Rattata sighed, "That's... my..." He paused. Should he tell the boy that Shin was his assistant? Or maybe tell him he was just 'Shin'? It was probably safer if he didn't allow any information about his business to leak out. The boy didn't have to get involved in any of it and Taroro didn't want him to. Who knew what the boy's reasons for being out cold in an ally way was. It might or might not be risky for his father's business or even Shin for that matter. If that was the case... then, "...That's Shin." The boy said bluntly, his eyes looked away for a moment, before glancing back at the boy. "How did you know my name...?" He finally realized, with a confused expression on his face. The Rattata hadn't told the boy his name yet, in fact, he hadn't ask for the Tediursa's name either. But he was certain that, yesterday was the first time he saw the boy. Or could it be that the boy had read it off the order slip from the delivery yesterday? If that was it, then the boy had a pretty good memory, despite his throbbing head.

His eyes glanced from the Teddiursa to his 'boss' at his sudden outburst, only raising an eyebrow with an amused expression on his face. Another priceless reaction, though the subject did make him stop and think for a moment. He'd never really thought of himself and the Rattata as a 'couple', per se. It wasn't like he couldn't go out and 'date', if that's what you'd call it, other people, he just..didn't feel like it? He was strangely content just being with the boy, as far as he could tell. But, giving it too much though seemed pointless to him since he didn't even fully understand it all yet. Regardless of what it was or how it turned out, he was going to ride it and see how it went. His decision to do so hadn't changed a bit since he'd, well, decided to do it.

Shin moved over after a moment as Taroro asked the 'newcomer' a question, jumping up a bit and tossing himself over with a braced hand on the bed, sitting crisscrossed on top of it and setting his elbow on a crossed leg, his chin resting on a palm. The Haunter wasn't sure if he should tell his 'boss' what he'd learned, at least not yet. It did seem a little early, and if the Teddiursa found out that he knew of the drugs that Shin had spotted with him, he probably wouldn't be nearly as open with any information that the Haunter might want to listen in on or find out. So, for now, he decided to just listen carefully, eyeing the boy curiously, forcing his 'dislike' into submission for the time being. He was in a bit of a 'work mode' now, and work didn't require his personal feelings or opinions.

After just a little bit, he noticed the Teddiursa's shaking hands, but made his eyes wander idly after so he wasn't spotted in his observations. If he was recalling correctly, being 'shaky' wasn't exactly a good sign for someone who used drugs. Shin watched the Teddiursa even more carefully, but kept that dull and curious look on his face. He'd have to stick around now, in case he needed to 'assist' Taroro, or cover up any mess that the newcomer might cause in the near future. If he could, he would have sighed. He really wasn't bored anymore these days, not with the Rattata as his 'employer'.

As soon as he was confirmed able to stay, he felt a sudden wave of joy come over him, but didn't much show it now that the Haunter had made his appearance, he couldn't explain why but he suddenly felt paranoid & anxious. The outburst of them not being a couple though made him feel relieved on the part that he wasn't intruding since it seemed like a common thing with him, it was good to hear that, but strangely felt there was something between them since it didn't seem the Haunter wasn't too kind in his words just moments ago. But maybe he was just being paranoid? Whatever the case, he let it go, a little not completely since it was still bothering him, but found out apparentally his name was Shin, recalling hearing that name as well last night. But it sounded as if Taro was going to call him something else, something under the status of being claimed. Which made him a little confused, but didn't bother questioning it since he was asked how he knew the Rattata's name.

Placing a shaky finger to his lips he peered upward as if the cieling had the written answer there, but really it would have helped right now since his mind seemed to be drawing a blank for some reason. "Uhm... I..." He started as it slowly came back to him & looked back to the Rattata. "I read it off the delivery &... I kept hearing it my sleep." Aret finally explained, though what he thought was just sleeping was really a drug induced short coma. Though it didn't seem to take long after before his stomach decided to act up, making him queasy rather quickly the longer he sat up right, & he oddly felt exhausted even though he'd just woken up moments ago. Leaning forward he placed his trembling hands to his abdomen & tried breathing slowly & quietly. If it was possible at all, his skin seemed to lighten it's tone to further express his illness.

(( Had to retype this one as well since my interenet decided to poof last night & didn't come back until later this morning >c ))
