Hm... I guess that the new plot is going to be about creating and piloting our own airships to help this blobbything. EDIT: I have created a team thread: Perfectly Normal Airship

I got nothing to say about the new manga. Except that Gaia is loosing any hope of returning to it's former glory.

That manga was the worst outta all I have read here. Gaia struck gold years ago but it seems to be like a TV show on the plot. Once they hit gold, it lasts for a bit till they start sucking.

I can't say I'm all too pleased with it either, though I am undoubtedly hoping that the event will make up for that.
The manga was just too farfetched. Actually, all of them have been lately. Especially the endings, and then they just leave you hanging wondering what that was supposed to mean. I want to know where this octopussy thing came from, and I'm willing to bet all my tip money (heh, jp) that they don't tell us.

Clone Yami That manga was the worst outta all I have read here. Gaia struck gold years ago but it seems to be like a TV show on the plot. Once they hit gold, it lasts for a bit till they start sucking. It was pretty... lackluster. Had no effing idea what was going on. When I heard "Old Gods" I'm like, "Please make a Lovecraft reference of some sort." But of course, the giant blob thing is goofy as heck and not serious or intimidating at all. scream

So what exactly happens in this plot? I mean, can somebody please explain it to me? what are we doing in this frontier game? do people fly in the same ships and stuff? I'm so confused. I understand the plot and stuff, but has anybody gotten the announcement?

I just found a mini-comic that came out with the Manga. Only thing is, the mini-comic has nothing to do with the plot.

I'm pretty sure the mini comic will have to do with the plot. The mini comics purpose are to introduce people involved in it. So this means Sam is probably going to be a ship mechanic. There are going to be three more. Like what they did with the camps last year.
I don't really understand why this is the worst of the plot so far. This might mean we get to see more of Gaia. And the plot has always been sort of random anyways.
The event is most likely going to be us trying to save the Godtopus and maybe any other gods of Gaia we come across.
Oh and thanks for that Ave =]

(X-posted from G.I.B. Airship Thread)
While many of us are laying claim to our own airships, a few notable Gaians are standing out as possible leaders of potentially massive crews, or even whole fleets, of airships. Two of those people are Sam, of Sam's Body and Parts, and Diedrich, of the darkest recesses of some unspeakably diseased corner of hell.
What's your opinion on these guys, and the others who will make themselves known? Who do you, personally, prefer? (More than that, who should the G.I.B. themselves ally with?

Well, I already set up a thread for an Airship (Kiga's L.O.L airship that is) but. . unless I know the plot behind. . .I can't do much :/ And so far. . .the Manga hasn't given me enough info for me to start with. . .which frustrates me to no end. I want this to be the 'plot' or 'breakpoint' for me to introduce Tenshi back into Gaia. Then again, for her 'Saikyou' Armor, I would LOVE if anybody would donate me a Gogh Reed D": (need the hair) *coughshamelessdemandscough*
But... *sighs* again, the plots have been staggering. . . I might re-launch Saikyou Crisis to bring a plot or something T _T;

I don't really get where all this is going. Edmund's using Brennivin's magical floaty shop/mansion to track down Gino, who is flying around with Overseer and Sen again after they stopped by to get makeovers from Bren. While Ed and Bren are on Gino's tail, however, they're passed by a flock of vampire bats, who also appear to be following or looking for Gino. While Ed and Bren are trying to follow the bats, they come across a huge cutesy floaty jellyfish with a burning forest for hair, who is apparently one of the old gods (like Overseer and Sen?). The vamps for some reason have tried to kill it, and now we have to save it - by using a convenient crop of "casimir" seeds to fuel a fleet of sky-ships, to... do what? Douse the creature with water? Why doesn't it just float into the nearest lake or ocean?
I dunno, this latest development just seems a bit out of place for me. I mean, we still have all of the other plot threads that are waiting to be continued - Sen, Overseer and Gino are travelling somewhere, and are currently under attack (probably) by the random welder guy; Nicolae and Cresento are out to kill Gino, along with a load of bats - I mean, vampires - and Zhivago; the event spirits or whatever they are (Santa etc.) are presumably still hiding out somewhere in fear of whatever it is that is coming (an old god? Possibly the cute one with the forest, although why would they be hiding from it?); and we still don't know why Johnny K.'s remains transformed/mutated into a lovable little green bunny. Oh, and there's still that woman who picked up the note after Johnny's death.
I suppose that what I'm trying to say is that there's already a lot of stuff going on, things that we'd like to see elaborated on or finished, and it just annoys me a bit that on top of everything else, there's this random flaming blob that we have to help, but no one really knows what exactly we're trying to do.
I am glad, however, that SOMETHING is happening. There's still a plot, and that is a good thing. Plus, the stuff with the Airships will hopefully be quite fun. I'ma be a sky-pirate. pirate

I think all of this may be leading towards finding Gino and his crew, stopping Cresento and Nicolae, and finding Johnny's killer (and Zhivago). We've just gotta be patient and watch it all unfold...
