Many hounds choose to recline in the bounty of their estate. However, many hounds actually run businesses from their homes to keep their income flowing. These businesses have many benefits for both the owner and the guest. The type of business usually reflect the specialty of the city.
• Cairo resorts, spas,
• Giza fish market, restaurants
• Caspia sport hunting, expensive crafts
• Prussia domesticated animals, jewelry shops
• Babylon Anything!
• Zanzibar motels, slave fighting, bars

So you may be asking 'how does one start a business? I WANT MY MONEY!!!"
Well the answer is easy. First you must meet these requirements:
• Hound must have their journal fully set up
• The hound must have earned a skill badge relevant to their type of business
• Masters must own at least two slaves
• Masters must pay the 100 stone permit fee
When you have met the requirements please post the application in this thread for your permit!
Once you have received your permit you may add your business to your house directory.✗ [Benefits];× × × × × × × × × × × × × × × ×
So now you have your business all set up, but what's in it for the customers? In order to service a business the Visitor must do the following:
• Start a short rp (Minimum 5 posts) with one of the business' slaves or the owner. This rp must describe you coming in, looking around. Add some back story- make it juicy!
• Include a post where you enjoy the business, whether it is a store for jewelry, or a restaurant. (for people who own stores selling goods... it would be fun if you actually made pictures for the items!)
• Pay the House the amount of stones they request (make sure you subtract the amount you pay from your own journal!)
• Leave! Write your reflections smile
At the end of the post the Guest may roll a random number from 1-5. This number may be added onto the stat the business specifies. Only One stat bonus may be offered.

Hounds are allowed to sell items additionally to offering some type of service.
Items should range in price and should cost no more then what your building type allows. The service should be something else entirely and should be required if a hound visits, whereas items are an optional purchase. For business establishments that rely on items (like bars, apothecaries, etc/etc) you may have a member's only fee, an entrance fee, or something to that effect for your 'service', and items are additional, OR you may have only items instead of a service fee.
If you choose to have items instead of a service fee then you may still roll for a stat! Each item may give a different stat roll, for instance item B can offer 1 -5, while item C can offer 1 -10, however please keep in mind that only ONE stat is allowed per visit. So if you buy multiple items only one stat roll will be allowed.
