HISTORY - Isadora Scott was born to a single mother who had little money and no job. After an extremely difficult and miserable first 5 years of her life, Isadora's mother was arrested and Isadora put into an adoption center, where she was adopted by male partners Jonathan and Markus. Enduring taunting from her peers in school, Isadora grew up to be a calm and collected woman, later going to a medical college and earning her doctorate in psychology. When she got transferred to the Kodo region, she decided to join Team Rocket. She did not approve of Team Rocket's ideals, but it was there that she felt that her therapy would be most needed.

PERSONALITY - Basil is a very... eccentric Meganium. Not caring about safety much, all that matters to Basil is making friends and getting to know new people. He is very friendly and happy and likes to view battling and a competition against his friends to make himself stronger. His own curiosity comes first.
HISTORY - Basil was, in actuality, not Isadora's first Pokemon, but he was her first friend. Basil belonged to Jonathan and Markus, who found him and captured him when he was a few months old. While very happy among the partners, he longed to explore, and quickly befriended Isadora when she was adopted. He accompanied her while she was going to school and when she graduated from high school, Jonathan and Markus gave him to Isadora as her first Pokemon. He tagged along with her loyally when she decided to join Team Rocket and has always stuck by her side.
TRAINER'S NOTES - "My sweet little Basil... He's a child at heart, truly. I've known him for as long as I can remember... He was one of the things that really helped me get used to my new life with my fathers; really helped me cope, in a sense. Especially during my school years... He never fails to cheer me up, even if the means aren't conventional, to say. I understand that his innocence can be kind of... off-putting to some, what with his eccentricities and all... but he has a heart of gold."

POKEDEX ENTRY - "This legendary Chinese Pokémon is considered magnificent. Many people are enchanted by its grand mane. Its magnificent bark conveys a sense of majesty. Anyone hearing it can't help but grovel before it."

PERSONALITY - Iditarod is a very loyal Pokemon, ready to perform whatever is necessary to fulfill her duties or protect her trainer, even if she does not quite agree with the cause. She is very energetic and loves to run and burn off energy - literally, on some occasions. She is lively, but she is down to earth and present in where she is. Also, she has a severe weakness for cookies and biscuits.
HISTORY - In her youth, Iditarod was once a part of a pack of wild Arcanine which made its home in the hills and mountains. Iditarod herself was marked as one of the leaders of the pack due to her unique coloring and incredible running speed. For some odd years, she helped to lead her family and protect them, but over time, she grew tired of the constant pressure put upon her by her peers. In the end, she resigned from her position as a pack leader and decided to wander on her own. That little escapade did not last long, for she was near starvation within weeks. One day, the Arcanine came upon Isadora, who was hiking in the mountains. The Arcanine ran and Isadora pursued, for the woman had never seen such a unique Pokemon before. In the end, Isadora caught up to the exhausted Pokemon, capturing her and saving her from almost certain death. After being given the name Iditarod for her speed and wintry colors, the Arcanine decided to dedicate her life to her new cause.
TRAINER'S NOTES - "Iditarod... She's a piece of work, to be sure. For one, she's an essential powerhouse, as well as incredibly quick and agile. She's a prime example of the famous loyalty of Arcanines, as so many people have talked about. I do wish that she would let up on the whole protective thing just a wee bit, at the very least. I don't mind being protected, of course... She just... hovers. Hovers over me like a mother hen. But in any case, Iditarod's a crucial part of my team, and I feel so blessed to have found her."

PERSONALITY - ...Plain and simple, Layleeta is not the jolliest egg in the basket. He retains a deep and burning hatred for all humans and the Pokemon that serve them. He sees the Pokemon as slaves forced to do the bidding of the evil overlords that claim them. Since becoming a human's Pokemon himself, he has plotted and contrived his revenge against all humans and his escape from 'captivity.'
HISTORY - Layleeta was born in Unova, near Mistralton City, and lived there for most of his life with his mother. He was taught from a very young age to always respect nature and be one with it, as well as to always stay wild and free, for that was the true and natural way to live. He took these words very deeply to heart, and so whenever he saw the planes taking off from the city nearby, he grew angry and livid with the humans for defiling the skies with their presence and destroying the natural order. His fury only deepened when his mother was shot by human hunters, Bambi-style. Instead of having a father to look after him, though, Layleeta was captured himself and taken to the Kodo region, where he met his human, Isadora. Since then, he has loathed Isadora with all of his little heart, and he has begun to wait patiently for his day of liberation fron his evil captors.
TRAINER'S NOTES - "...I don't understand that silly Swasbuck! Why on earth could he hate me so much? It's like an... an unnatural hate. A hatred that does not simply stem from me, but from a long history of the same. ...I hope that makes sense. But that's the thing! Layleeta doesn't make sense! I really hope I haven't done anything wrong to upset him. Like it would be hard to upset him, hah. I... I seriously need help with this big guy. If he could just get along with the other Pokemon, fine, but he can't even do that..."
