I dont believe that the world will end in 2012. No one knows when the world will end, but the thought still scares me.

You're not the only one. I agree with you, I don't think it will end but it still scares me. Actually I was thinking about it yesterday becasuse my brother was on yahoo and on the yahoo news they said they had pictures of an "alien" space craft flying over china. the other day but something tells me that it's just the governemt.

You claim Christianity... the world ending basically means you are going to a better place... so whats the problem?

We should believe that it's all in God's hands, right? We don't know when the world will end, but we are told in the bible that we have to be prepared for hard times. But Jesus will always be with us no matter what.
Btw those who occupy themselves with 2012 prophecies don't believe that it will be the end of all life. Rather that it will be time of extreme changes including also some destructive changes, but humanity and other life forms will still continue living here after that.

No, no, don't worry. The world will end, but we, Christians, will be in Heaven when it happens because God will bring us up there. So no need to be scared. biggrin

okay so i saw this thing on youtube and it said something about how the oil spill was a part of the Profociy (i cant spell gonk )
and then my grandma said something about there would be a bunch of earthquakes. and there's been a bunch.

I don't know about the oil spill, but you can make a case for the earthquakes. Relax, it's in God's hands.

The Bible says not even Jesus knows when the end is, and that it will come like a thief in the night: unexpectedly.
So I would think it wouldn't be on 2012, but probably within the next hundred years or so. The world is so full of sin at the moment...
Maybe a few days after the supposed 2012 date...?

In my eyes 2012 is like, well like, Y2K it's bull crap. But don't be afraid of it....someone said the world would end in 1980 something....obviously it didn't.

God intended for you to enjoy life and praise Him for it. Look. I felt like that a while ago. I kept on having anti-suicidal thoughts. But you need to learn to relax and have faith that God won't forget you.
