Katty Perry recently tweeted that using blasphemy for entertainment is as cheap as a comedian using a fart joke. In response to Alejandro video.

There are so many levels of irony with her saying that since, a.) her biggest song was called I kissed a Girl and she's a preachers daughter
and b.) her comedian fiance tweeted about farting moments before.
And if she were smart enough to get the video she would realize it has a positive religious meaning.  ]

Eh, I'm not sure what she was gettin' at. She's made tons of tweets before saying she loves Gaga, admires her, calls her the reigning queen, etc.
I think it's because her California Gurls music video was to premiere on the same day. Not exactly sure, but I thought it was pretty lame makin' it public on the Twitter like that.

Katy Perry is just deplorable. She gets attention by topping the charts with a song called "I Kissed A Girl", then slams the gay card that she played to gain fame by releasing "Ur So Gay". She can't sing, I highly doubt she knows how to play a musical instrument apparently she can play guitar but that idea is lulzy, and her finace reeks of rockstar wannabe.
More than likely she's immensely butthurt about it. Lately she's been appearing in outfits that are Gagaesque, which makes me question if she's trying to dump her lolvintage image and try to be cheap avant-garde for kicks.

I think Katy Perry can't really be taken seriously. She knows she can't take on Gaga. I think she's just exprressing her opinion, like we all do.
Plus, Katy Perry has been around longer than Gaga, I believe. When did the I Kissed a Girl music video air again? Somewhere within the 05-08 area? Her... Lollipop Burlesque appearance has always been there...

I think Lady Gaga is more successful because she works three times as harder than Katy does at least. I mean.... isn't California Gurls her... third music video? Fourth? I haven't seen her on VH1 much. However, Katy does does get my respect with Ur So Gay. I love that song and she is basically making fun of the stupid scene fad.

Katy Perry is one of my favorite singers other than Lady Gaga. She has her songs and everything but she is not as good as Lady Gaga. She puts in tons of effort and Katy comes around saying "Blasphemy" maybe, possibly, because she's jealous of her becuase remember her quote in which she said something about "Nothing comparing to her" in 'What Other Artists have to Say' thread? I don't know but Katy is confusing me now, but still I like her songs! lol

I love how Lady Gaga doesn't even care. She never types s**t about people. That's one of the reasons I love her.
It's funny because she disses Lady Gaga.. and then she uses her flaming bra idea at the VMAs.
