Oh, God!

You must be having sooooo much better weather than us here right now!
It's supposed to be summer, but it's been overcast and literally raining cats and dogs for weeks now. IT's getting on everyones' nerves here.

I enjoy the rain. It may be sunny here a lot of the time, but it's a humid heat--and it can get overwhelming sometimes. That, and our volcano shoots out a ton of smoke that can choke the island. I once walked outside and thought there was a fire going on somewhere nearby.

Hmmm...well I'm going to have to back up a bit and say: I'm hungarian (both my parents are), but I was born in Australia and now I'm living Hungary.
So...I know all about hot and humid. It's unbearable unless you've air-cond. The only big difference I can see is that if we smelt smoke, it really was a fire. xp xp
Oh, well...I guess no where's perfect.

Kisses!

Born and raised in Kansas,USA. And no I do not live on a farm. When my sister went away to college some people actually asked her if she ever talked to corn and how to tip cows....

Ooo that happens to my friends who went out of state for college! We get the questions "Do you live in teepees?" and "Do you ride horses everywhere?" I share your pain.

Online, I'm constantly asked if we live in huts and wear grass skirts all the time. Stereotypes abound, my friends. Ignorance is everywhere.

Um, my friends at uni usually ask stuff like:
Do I have a didgeridoo?
Have I eaten kangaroo meat or grubs?

Etc..

Well, you can't blame people, no, wait you can, but it's not going to change anything.
smile

But it's still funny.

Kisses!
