So I finally got my yearbook yesterday and, with the exception of a few minor things, it turned out quite nicely. That is until I saw the back pages.
The back pages are basicly a re-cap of the year and what's been popular in movies and televison. I wasn't surprised to see New Moon mentioned a few times (though Half-Blood Prince had a slightly bigger spread. Awesome.) But, the page about books had a list of reasons to read. #1 was the Twilight Saga.
I get that it's there because it's popular, but, considering Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was on the same list, it shouldn't have been #1. I want to hit whoever made the list so badly!

I would immediately rip the pages out. I wouldn't want to be reminded of the Twitards at my school lol.

Who wants to bet it was a Twilard Fangirl who made that list? I would personally complain, but then again, there's not much you can do about it.

I would find a large group of people at your school, preferably Twilight fans, and pull the pages out in front of them and tear them to shreds. (Then again, that's just what I would do.)

Reminds me that in my Community college newspaper that we had a like vs dislike column about the Twilight series. If you guys really want, I'll type it out on here or make a new topic. It was highly entertaining. lol And I wrote something on the newspaper, so I'll take a picture when I get back home. At my boyfriend's house right now. lol

For some of the holidays and such, my newspaper group will post a big blank sheet of paper on the wall for people to write stuff in that they later publish into the newspaper.
So back around Thanksgiving, they asked the question "What are you thankful for?"
I'm not shitting you when I say that one person actually wrote "Twilight", and that it actually got published.
FFUFUUUUUUUUUUU.
Course, overall, the paper made up for it a few editions ago when someone on their staff wrote an AWESOME story about our school's mascot(a Wolf,) mauling, maiming and dismembering Edward Cullen. It was a nice, big, epic and quite funny slap to the Twilight fad.
It made me happy, it did.
If I can find the paper(I totally saved it), maybe I'll copy it and post it for you guys' enjoyment.

PoisonXLilly The Anti-Twilight Riot Pride and Prejudice and Zombies ...What? Huuuuuuh....
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies; spoof on Pride and Prejudice, along with horror/zombie genres all mashed into one...I think.
I haven't read it but I've heard it is quite good.
