Offer up a convincing argument for a side you don't agree with. It can be anything, it just can't be the stance you'd normally take. Anyone arguing back must also be for the opposing side. I am not going to start, because I wouldn't know where to. (Oh, and if anyone has any suggestions for a poll, let me know. I can't think of anything...XD )

I think the furry lifestyle is horribly immoral. It encourages bestiality, ***** behaviors, and delusional thoughts. That's right I said it. All you furries secretly want to ******** animals or rape children. On top of that you are humans, not foxes, or cats, or rats, or whatever the ******** you think you are. If you are a furry seek profession help fast. If you know a furry don't encourage their delusion. Give them a punch in the jaw or a kick to the crotch if they show their "furry side" to you. This serves to hopefully knock some sense into it (if you want to be an animal, you loose the right to be referred to as a gender). If it doesn't it should hopefully keep their a** raping hormonally delusional dicks away from you, but then again you know what they say about animals in heat.
Yeah furries are bad m'kay.

I've seen a trend popping up among my female friends emotionally abusing or even physically hitting guys that they're in a relationship with in public and getting away with it.
And I have to say that I find this not only not disturbing but frankly hilarious.
Because when you look at it logically, a man isn't really a man if he can't control his chick.
It's not okay for men to be aggressive with women though. That's not a double standard because it's a known fact that men are statistically stronger than women so therefore no woman could ever do any real physical harm to any man worth his salt. And it's not like she could do emotional damage because it is scientifically proven that men have no emotions.
Also, let's not forget that as women we are slaves to emotion and therefore can't think logically when we get all emotional.
Also, Carlos Mencia is really funny and ICP is the best thing to happen to my generation since MTV.

xd ok ok, i'm gonna go with a more realistic and convincing angle, since i am a lover of acting and drama.

gang-affiliated criminals should not be tried with evidence not pertaining to their individual actions. they are sepperate people doing separate things from their gang-brothers. when evidence from a crime committed by a murderer is brought up in a case involving an alleged drug-dealer, that evidence is meaningless because the latter had nothing to do with the former! it's as simple as that!
the term "gang" has such a negative connotation, but not all organized movements and groups are criminals or violent thugs. big-talk and rap don't automatically mean lawlessness, even if they brag about it. just look around, alot of people joke about being "hustlas" and "pimps" and "bangers". should we be calling churches and schools and charities "gangs" too? to not do so would be hypocritical! they are just as organized.
the gang mentality is the same as a tribal or pack mentality. it is human instinct to group together in families of friends and allies. many people in these types of groupings do very good things, and the inclusion of a few bad eggs should not impact th egood name of the unit as a whole.

Violent video games should no longer be made, let alone sold, because they are bad for young children.
When a mother takes her son to a video game store and, against the advisement of the person working the register, buys the game she should be secure in the assumption that the video game will be a proper parent for her child.
Because, what, it's suddenly a parent's job to supervise his or her child?
And those of you who oppose my view might point out that the game has several warnings on it, including an ESRB rating. But how is a mother supposed to understand this complicated rating system? How should she know what "M" stands for? Ask one of the people working in the store? Glance at one of the posters taped up around the store? Read the print directly above the letter? A little reminder for you communists, this is America!
(I call you communists because people who don't agree with me are communists.) Haha, I just wanted to bring this thread back. It's fun.
Also, I realize that it's about offering up a strong, valid argument for the opposing side, but satire is fun. :3

I try to share my faith with as many as possible, but I won't do it unless the other party is willing to listen that way I am not forcing any thing on any one.

I'm gonna make an attempt to be serious... wink The seperation between church and state is a great thing. It gives everyone the right to worship as they please, while allowing the state to stay away from the whole messy religion thing. The church's rights are protected, and no one is offended or hurt because the state backs one religion more then another. A lot of countries could probably benefit from this seperation.

I actually do Devil's Advocate in the ED all the time just to keep myself on my toes. I'll wait to see someone start something though where they're at least half way serious before I jump on the bandwagon and start arguing against them. It's no fun doing it when the person you're arguing against isn't really trying. : P No offense to any of you.
