Within this topic you'll find my dream. I've been fascinated with LAB305 since I found the thread back in '09 [woah so far ago] and have dedicated this page as a quest for a Raevan. Currently you'll find one fel essence hopeful, and some associate souls, posted within:Fertilizing Salt! I welcome all critiques, concerns, and comments that motivate and inspire! Please do not hesitate to talk with me about my ideas. Or even ideas of your own! I'm always up to hear what people have to say and I do offer to read/critique other quests if you would like!

June 28th '13:: Received my journal, got my cert, and am now officially on my way to getting my Raevan for real! June 27th '13:: Entered into the Creatures of Paradise Flatsale. WON MYSELF A RAEVAN AHHHHHHHHHH. June 10th '13:: Re-vamped Lette's Personality. December 22nd '12:: Re-wrote/vamped/designed Lette's OC Post [Likes/Dislikes/Appearance/Personality/History], added a Notes section and cleared out expired links from her outfits section and added new ones. December 21st '12:: Added Male Salt Thorny Devil as my primary Raevan concept. December 19th '12:: Decommissioned Living Metal Fel Essence as a current Fel option. Removed some of the optional butterfly species to a narrower pool of interested subjects. Added Thorny Devil as a soul option. Modified linking titles to be more informational. DISCLAIMER;; Please PM me if you believe any of the essences listed below infringe upon any of your quested/actual essences. I would hate to steal someone's quest/essence concept, so please feel free to contact me.
[color=#a03741]Fertilizing Salt Fel Essence[/color]
Salt has been known for many things, including being used to eradicate crops or to destroy a patch of farmable land; causing it to be unsustainable for plant life for some time. This salt however, corrupted by the storm, has taken on the completely opposite trait. Fertilizing whatever patch of land it is sprinkled on, new life is brought into existence as whatever seeds and plants it makes contact with grows exponentially. Sprinkling it on preexisting plant-life strengthens and enhances its standing, causing crops to bear more for harvest and flowers to grow bigger and more vibrant.
Associated Essence Powers
Supa' Fertilizer [A] Raevans born from the Fertilizing Salt Essence will have the Active ability to affect the growth rate of any seeds/flowers/crop/plants/etc. that are around them or in their possession. For the growth and stimulation of these plants, they will draw on their own personal energy sources. As such, newborn/young Raevans will have severe inhibitions when it comes to utilizing this power. Furthermore, newborn Freis will have little control over their power initially and may cause accidental growth spurts on pre-existing fauna and vegetation. Additional growth of this power in the future may include the ability to hinder the growth of particular plants/areas. xxxPower Restrictions; xxxxx-Newborn Frei's will have extremely limited power supplies to draw on and will not be able to create large growths. In order of difficulty and mastery: flowers & other xxxxx"soft" plants will be the easiest to work with and grow, followed by vegetables/flower bushes, then small trees, trees that bear fruit/flower, and finally large trees; xxxxxother plant life not mentioned will fall in between the levels and up to user discretion within reason. xxxxxxx-Basically, the more complicated the plant in question is, as well as the time it would normally take to grow and produce, affects growth limitations. No growth will xxxxxxxbe instantaneous until late Frei/Sigel/Valsaros, again depending on mastery level, and will more or less just be a time frame of mere seconds instead of BOOM LIFE. xxxxxxx-Additionally, flowers grown in and out of soil/earth/etc will present their own problems, limitations, and drawbacks. xxxxx-Since the Raevan will be using their own energy sources, a need/severity of having a food source nearby will be dependent on energy expended/need to replenish. xxxxx-Large scale growths that expend too much energy, or growths that the Raevan is not prepared for, may result in the Raevan "passing out"
A Plant's Best Friend [P/A] In addition to being able to affect the growth patterns of plant life, the Raevan associated with this power would be able to effectively strengthen them as well. The passive part of this ability would be one that the Raevan would not intend. Merely by being in a plants vicinity, especially if direct contact is involved, the plant would become hardier, more resistant to cold/disease, develop stronger root systems, grow brighter in color, bloom/bear fruit more easily and in greater abundance, and generally live longer. At first the effects will be slim, flowers that the Raevan may pass by will just seem "perkier" though the effects would stack upon each other and become stronger with continued exposure. The active side of this ability would be when the Raevan makes a conscious effort to reinforce a plant or particular area with the aforementioned effects. xxxPower Restrictions; xxxxx-Again, with time comes greater strength and less limitation. xxxxx-On the passive side of things, general life around plants wouldn't have a great effect on the Raevans energy. However, prolonged exposure to large areas with plants xxxxxcould potentially tire them out if they are not careful. It is much easier for them to monitor this side of their power array, once they are aware of it, then direct plant xxxxxgrowth. xxxxx-Active restrictions are similar to the Supa' Fertilizers drawbacks. xxxxx-Radius of "effect" will grow in terms of power and energy levels. If the Raevan has low energy from an active ability, this passive ability tends to fester and die out xxxxxquickly until energy levels are back in sync. At first radius will be no more then a foot from the Raevan in all directions. I will find out what would seem reasonable as xxxxxthey grow, but it could extend upwards of 20 feet? (too much? Idk) xxxxxxx-The Raevan may eventually learn how to personally effect the radius around them to be the size they intend. TBD.
A Salty Taste [P] As a general rule, Raevans under this essence will not like extensive or prolonged exposure to water.This is due to its purely Passive ability of possessing salty skin. Still working on if it will be anything flashy, but right now it is just what it is: salty skin. Unsure if the Raevan's skin will change texture or look due to this element, or if it's full body or focused, but it will come into play the most with its hands (and maybe lips, ehehEH). Will help with cooking and direct contact effects of above powers. xxxPower Restrictions; xxxxx-Doesn't really draw on power levels or energy, it's just...there. xxxxx-In concern to water, the Raevan will hate warm/hot water the most, as it will make them feel slimy and gross. Cool water can be tolerable at times but still not xxxxxits favorite thing. Puffs of (cool) water and focused areas of exposure do not bother it so much. xxxxxxx-In terms of cooking, the Raevan may stick its finger into a stew to season it and simply dab it off and air dry back to normal afterwards.
Powers that need to be inquired if viable A Helpful Sting [A]- a healing touch to minor scrapes and cuts (opposite effect of salt in would) Salt Manipulation [A]- same as any sort of elemental manipulation; but with salt.
NAME : Nathaniel [also referred to as Nate or Nathan] GENDER : Male FEL ESSENCE : Fertilizing Salt SOUL : Thorny Devil ALIGNMENT : Neutral or Lawful Good? Perhaps a True Neutral? I'm bad with alignments. -__- HOBBIES : Gardening | Cooking | Adventuring [Forests/Mountains/Swamps/Etc] | Sun-basking | Painting [particularly scenes depicting Nature] LIKES : Trying out new hairstyles, the Sun, horror movies (especially the ones that involve lizards; he especially likes Godzilla) DISLIKES : When babies/young children stare at him ("Its like they're staring into my essence"), the rain, big birds APPEARANCE NOTES : I'm very open to artistic expression and I love what Kyou does with Raevans. Normally, I wouldn't mention anything in terms of Appearance, but for the Thorny Devil I had a very strong impression for his hair. Something like a faux hawk that's resemblant of a lot of horns. In my mind the salt essence will definitely affect his hair a lot, acting like a super gel that crystalizes his hair into perfect control. He'll be able to play with it and change it's shape with warm water, but I just thought it would be an interesting quirk. In addition, he could be the first Raevan to have "dandruff"! If he scratches his head or messes with his hair too much when it isn't wet, salt could fall from his head and dust his shoulders. Maybe he would even use his salt!dandruff to even season his dishes. The drama that could ensue from that particular drama... Also! If he could have a slightly rough, tough, and/or menancing look to him. Sort of how the lizard looks as if it would be something that is mean or intimidating, but really it's just very calm and leisurely. This could set up a lot of type-casted feelings being directed upon him, as a first impression, when really he's just a misunderstood nice guy.
PERSONALITY : Adventuresome | Noncommittal | Messy | Thoughtful | Leisurely xxxxNathaniel seems to always be fighting an inner battle between two differing entities. A part of him wants to ride the wind and visit faraway places, climbing the tallest mountains and scouring forests for plants no one has ever seen while, on the other hand, nothing would please him more then to lay out in the sun and waste the day away under its warm rays. So he settles for a balance. Challenging himself to new things, Nate enjoys the thrill of diversity and experiences he has never had. Though, for some reason, he can never seem to stay focused on one particular experience for very long, instead constantly needing the thrill of something different. But where does it end? He doesn't know and, honestly, isn't too concerned with that possibility. He lives in the present and thrives on the possibilities of the future. xxxxThe only tasks that he can't seem to break away from are, interestingly enough, more of the "bland" variety. Finding himself in the garden, tending to the plants that are already there while adding his own flair, and cooking in the kitchen just happen to be the two places he finds absolute enjoyment in. They're tasks that challenge his mind, and sometimes his body, encompassing all of his thoughts as he runs seamlessly from one task into the next. However, he does seem to have a habit with not always cleaning up his messes, leaving empty bags, unwashed pots, and tools strewn where they were last needed. xxxxLife is not always about the thrill of the ride and the next gardening competition though. Sometimes, it's about the people you do it with. Nate is far from a solitary creature and enjoys being around people. While the company of new friends are always accepted, he especially enjoys really getting to know someone. The small details are the true story behind a person and that's the biggest challenge to win. Birthdays, Christmas, anything at all really, Nate looks for the perfect presents, painstakingly making sure that whatever he finds is useful or heartwarming for the person he has in mind. His philosophy is that while everyone deserves company, misery is not one of those people, and the act of caring is the one gift he can always offer.

A "Thorny" Intimidation [P/A] Whenever Nathaniel feels threatened, his horns [if his clothes/skin/etc are depicted with any] will raise, like the hackles of a cat. This is a passive self defense move that I don't believe would affect him adversely in terms of energy stores. I also thought it could be a active power for fighting. While the Thorny Devil wiki states that they "are covered entirely with conical spines that are mostly uncalcified", I thought that the combination of his salty/hardier skin this could become a stronger defense/attack mechanism.
Entertaining, need to check if plausible - being able to extend/withdraw his thorns. This is something that is also highly variable depending on Kyou's interpretation of the Raevan.
FEEDING : Salt. Perchance Fertilizer? x wx
GENERAL NOTES : How his hobbies/personality relates to his essence and soul. xxFertilizing Salt derived;; Gardening - this hobby is probably one of the easiest to understand as it is simply a direct side-effect of his essence. He will use this as an outlet to improve upon and understand his powers while he learns more about how plants work and grow. There will most likely be an arch involved that will entail him getting involved in a gardening competition. Cooking - this is a side spin of his Salt background. Salt is one of the most basic seasonings so I thought it would be interesting to have him enjoy the culinary arts as a whole. Originally his dishes will probably not be the best, especially due a certain affinity to using just a touch too much salt...or a lot. :| Adventuresome - I wanted to give him a side of him that would build upon Lette's fun-loving side that would allow him to venture into the wilderness to have a closer and more developed interaction with all sorts of wildlife and plant life. Thoughtful - This was a play on his "fertilizing" and gardening aspect. Everyone wants to be social, and have a lot of friends, but Nate isn't obsessed with being the most social of butterflies. He takes enjoyment in the simple beauties that is a close friendship and wants to nurture and develop as many close friendships as he can. Becoming friends with him is truly having someone always in your corner. xxThorny Dragon derived;; Noncommittal - His noncommittal side isn't necessarily an ability to not commit to things, but that he gets bored with repetition. This isn't a exact personality side-effect of how lizards/the Thorny Dragon acts, but more of my interpretation of them from an outside standpoint. Lizards seem to always be bored with life and very lethargic. Instead of creating a bland personality, I wanted to reinterpret it to something similar but different. The "Messy" Personality trait is just side effect of this trait [ "Cleaning is boring. >8|" ] Leisurely - Personality trait coming.

NAME : Nydia [nid-ee-uh] GENDER : Female FEL ESSENCE : Fertilizing Salt SOUL : Butterfly Species PERSONALITY : I'm envisioning Nydia as really spacey kind of person. Not in the sense of being dim, intelligence wise, but as someone who's easily distracted. She would also be really whimsy, a person with no real destination or direction; just exploring the world around her and constantly thinking. She'll be easy to talk with, but may seem socially awkward with her whimsical nature and tendencies to zone out and stare. She would be very independent, with a slight drifter personality, but will enjoy the presence of those she cares for, or she finds interesting. A personality quirk I've thought of was an obsession and attraction to bright colors and smells. Though the opposite could be said of dull colorations and foul scents.
OOC Character Reference: Luna Lovegood
HOBBIES : Gardening;; Connecting strongly with her fel essence, I chose Gardening to be one of her hobbies. While cliché, the hobby fits her more than it would for most, and will most likely center her; something she would fall into and resort to when upset. It will allow for her to train and grow into her powers more comfortably, but still capture her whimsy nature as she flits from task to task, humming to herself and just generally losing herself in her work. Cooking;; Another hobby that, while cliché as well, could strongly be connected to Nydia’s salty essence. Utilizing it correctly, it will allow for her to get out and socialize with other Raevans and their guardians at in-house parties, get togethers, events, and more. She would have a very sensitive palette and a tendency to use all seasonings available to her; especially enjoying the usage of different kinds of salts. While she cannot digest and eat the products herself, she will be able to understand the process of cooking and how to season, marinate, bake, etc. Of course, she will still have many boo-boo’s and catastrophes when she first begins investigating this hobby. Hopefully Lette has a strong stomach. >>”

Poison Touch [P/A] Recently, I learned that many species of butterfly have the ability to take poison from a plant, through either touch or consumption, and use it in their own defense. As such, I thought it would be a neat idea to implement into Nydia’s power pool. Upon touching a poisonous plant, or if she eats it, instead of becoming sick she will store their deadly or incapacitating properties to use in her own defense. Said poisons would be disbursed via broken skin (i.e., scratching, clawing, biting, etc.) or in her own defense if she was attacked (i.e., if she was scratched, clawed, bitten, etc.). This power will be available to Nydia at birth, though will be a completely passive ability and thus only used as a defense mechanism if she’s attacked, surprised, etc. I intend to allow her to slowly gain control over this ability so she can use it when she wills it. [[ Possibility;; I’ve pondered giving her the ability to eventually withdraw poisons from others, be it people or animal. This would only come into play during her late Frei stage, or sometime within her Sigel. I don’t want to overreach this ability into territory that it shouldn’t be in, but it seems like the most logical step in the growth and strengthening of her power – not to mention an interesting twist. Will need to research and poll the LAB to see what their opinion is. ]]

NAME : Allora [Uh-lore-uh] GENDER : Female FEL ESSENCE : Fertilizing Salt SOUL : Cherry Blossom PERSONALITY : Allora has a very timid nature; being very shy and timid when interacting with almost everyone outside of Lette and a choice few. She dislikes putting herself out there to people, and usually keeps her emotions to herself; though when upset it readily shows on her face and persona - crying will probably be the most public emotion she shows, if that. She thoroughly enjoys being outside and in the presence of flowers. Still playing her emotions close to the chest, she tends to open up more, smiling and conversing a tad bit more freely. POSSIBLE POWERS : [Same descrip as Nydia's Power Post - I'm just too crazy for this whole Anthokinetic thing. I would really love to have a Raevan with this power. * O*] Agrokinesis! 8D <3 Particularly the variation Anthokinesis At her beginning stage Allora will only be able to grow common flowers. As she progresses she'll gain better control over it and be able to grow uncommons and hybrids. Eventually she'll grow into the full description of Anthokinesis. FEEDING : Sunlight seems to be her main food source, though she can also snack on and supplement her diet with fertilizer.

NAME : Rico [ree-co] GENDER : Male FEL ESSENCE : Radiant Diamond SOUL : Fennec Fox PERSONALITY : Rico would be a extremely amicable and playful, always wanting to be around people and socialize, his worse fear being isolated away from others. Wrestling and most things that involve physical activity would appeal to him - even games of intellect. During the day he'll be slightly lethargic, due to the soul's nocturnal tendencies - perking up once the sun sets and the night begins. POSSIBLE POWERS : [working on a power to relate to Radiant Diamond] He'll also have a very attuned and sensitive nose but this will more be a physical trait then a passive power. FEEDING : Rico would be pretty self-sufficient as he would survive off the carbon in the air (ref to diamonds and their make-up) SIDE NOTE : If I were to obtain this particular Raevan, a aged Fennec Fox would become a part of Lette's household, one close to it's death bed. Lette would have had this pet since it was a pup and will release him from this world by setting the soul bottle near him so that she could keep him with her, in spirit. :'D

NAME : Lette Smathers GENDER : Female AGE : 24 OCCUPATION : Mechanic RACE : Human LIKES : Body Art | Her Motorcyle | Fast Cars | Countryside | Drawing DISLIKES : Ignorance | Wimps | Lemons | Alcoholics | Gory Movies LOOKS : 5'6", Moderately proportioned with a full figure, Long curly black hair, Silver eyes. Majority of the time she wears glasses. Normally seen either out riding her motorcycle in skinny jeans and a leather jacket or at work in overalls, tied at the waist, with a tank top.
PERSONALITY : Opinionated | Hardworking | Grounded | Territorial Ever since she was a small child, Lette was known for her quick decisions on everything from her appreciation of a certain vegetable to her opinion of her high school principal. Once her impression has been formed, changing her mind is an uphill battle. Even when faced with the truth, her arguments taper off, accepting the truth silently, rather then admit she was wrong. Her impressions of situations are not limited to just others and individual situations, but can limit her own personal decisions. Aware of her own drawbacks and strengths, Lette is a realist able to understand her limitations and the drawbacks of her decisions.
Knowing that the quality of life is dictated by an individuals hard work and they job they work, Lette devotes a large amount of her energy into her job. Up at the crack of dawn working till close, if not later, the meaning of a hard days work is familiar with her. Comfortable with a life that provides for shelter, food, and transportation, Lette is content with an existence of dirty hands and middle-class providing’s. However, what is hers is hers, if you happen to threaten or impede on her territory, her anger will be the first thing you deal with.
HISTORY : Lette was not a child born with a golden spoon in her hand, nor was she a child beget of poverty. Her parents were supportive, like most are, but they weren't exceptionally amazing at what they did, both in and out of personal and professional workplaces. By 16 she was working odd jobs, still in school, but already aware of the fact that she would not be pursuing a "higher" education. It just didn't seem worth it in her eyes, neither for the debt or the qualification. Her first actual job was actually around the time of her high school graduation, as she took her motorbike in for repairs at a local garage.
Walking into the shop, her first reaction was to the smell. She couldn't place her finger on the exact scents, outside of the usual smell of gasoline, but she liked it. The noises weren't that bad either; loud just like her. Talking with the large Native American who owned the shop, his black hair streaked with gray, she convinced the man to give her a shot. She fit in right away, learning the trade like the apprentices of old. Some years in, she even enrolled herself into an auto mechanics program, learning the trade she felt could become her career.
SIDE NOTES : = She's lived a pretty average life, nothing too spectacular or extraordinary. = She currently resides in a trailer with a small garage in the back. She moved out of her parent's place when she was 20. = Her ragtag group of animals currently consist of a Beagle with a tattered left ear, 2 Siamese cats, a Lovebird, and a Thorny Devil she got off a client who didn't want it anymore. = The Native American's name is Wyatt. Lette looks up to him both as a mentor and father figure. = She's single and not really looking.

Ever Seed Fel Essence
This fel essence was found out in the forests surrounding Durem, on one of the many rollings hills. If a picture could be taken of it, in between mutations, one would see a normal seed. Wait. Mutations you say? Why yes, this particular seed seems to be constantly changing between many plant forms, though it seems to be limited to flowers and small plants only. Watching it is quite entertaining as it grows extremely fast to a single perfect flower specimen, though it has many different unknown hybrids in it's flower collection, before collapsing back down into it's seed form to repeat the process by growing back into another, different flower. How this came to be has yet to be seen.
I like this idea, it's interesting because it'll give rise to plenty of ideas within the raevan born from it especially in the way of powers and appearance. We have a few plant based raevans already; Vyn, Eiry, Xiuelian, Varun. However the only really flowering one is Xiuelian, yet she's more the pure white type of flower whereas your essence feels to me like it's more like the kinda of spring-y wild flowers that you'd find in a meadow, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. My only qualm is that something about the essence reminds me of Varun's seasonal branch. They're both plants stuck in a cyle of changes, so it does take away some of the originality of it in my opinion.. But with there being over 30 - nearer to 40 - official essences I think whatever you do there's going to be some treading on toesin regards to your concept.
(Also, the bit that I highlighted in red sticks out when reading it. It could be just me but I think it complicates what you're saying and cutting it would make the description slightly better in my opinion.)
Diamond Rain Fel Essence
The common conception of rain is that wet stuff that falls from the sky in droplets; usually resulting in very pissed off cats and soaked bikers, right? This rain cloud didn’t seem to get the memo. Experiencing a change under the influences of The Storm, the rain that falls from this roving storm is not droplets of water, but droplets of what seems to be perfectly faceted diamonds coming to Gaia in a steady drizzle of valuables. Thankfully, the cloud seems to be contained to the outskirts of popular Gaia cities, in the wilderness and deserts, and doesn’t have too much attention from Gaians; appreciated so that people don’t follow it building up sizeable fortunes and turmoil. Though a fable does seem to circle about diamonds falling from the sky like angel’s tears... Mmm, not sure if I like this essence all that much. For a start, we already have two cloud essences (three if you count Zave's eye of the storm) and in my opinion there's only so much you can do and Kyou could be getting pretty tired out with clouds by now.. Also, it could be construed as a spin or reverse of Sevillin's essence; Mermaids tears that should've turned to diamonds but haven't. I'd keep your idea, but perhaps use it as more of a backup and focus your efforts on developing your other idea/coming up with something fresh.

I personally really like the idea of a butterfly raevan - as it stands we have hardly any insect raevans (only Riv unless my memory fails me) so that means that your butterfly idea can't be contested in regards to originality. I think butterflies should also provide Kyou quite a bit to springboard off in regards to design - their wings, patterning, ecetera all have design implications that she could use. The three species you have given are all nice looking but I kinda want to suggest you look at glass winged butterflies too, just because they're really quite cool and would add extra interest to a raevan. All that being said I must warn you that I know that moths were strictly off limit for semi customs a while back and since moths and butterflies are pretty similar you would most certainly have to question that with Kyou or one of the other informed staff.

Ehhh, I can see the appeal of a cherry blossom soul.. It's be pretty and the folklore and traditions associated with them could make for some interesting plotting but in short I think that it's not a very creative or interesting soul choice. For a start cherry blossom trees are totally raped by anime nerds, so it always comes off a little tacky, and secondly having a plant soul isn't like "woah! original!"

D'aw! This soul is sweet! Not only is it cute but it has some nifty added stuff. If you wanted a desert spin it would alow that - the only deserty atm raevan is Jasper ( forgotten his new name.. >>" ), so if you took that idea and ran with it you'd have a pretty open and original concept. Of course, even without that spin it's a good soul and it would contrast with various fel essences quite nicely which is good because sometimes the best results are acheieved when souls and fel essences don't go together with ease. A bit of chalk and cheese never goes amiss in my opinion. Something about this soul with a diamond based essence makes me smile... (looking at the feeding technique of carbon impressed me) So perhaps if you reworked your ideas you couyld be onto something. All in all, with your souls, I think you need to just make sure they're all good stand alone items because then you can whap 'em out in flatsales with enough "umf" to impress the judges and win your way into the LAB community. (that was why Snoof was so effective - everyone loved croccy because it worked so hilariously/awesomely with everything. :D)

@Ever Seed Critique You make a valid point on the highlighted sentence, I'll try and re-work that so it's not as awkward. (y) I understand the concern with the plant-based souls, though I'm hoping that it doesn't create too much of a fit as I really enjoy the idea just due to the possibility that it has such a wide possibility in it's roots for its powers and its design. A couple people have brought up the semblance that it may have to Varun's branch but I'm thinking that it's specific category will be distinguishing enough. The branch deals just the season's and it just shows the signs on it's body. The Ever Seed is changing between a wide variety of flora life and it cycles between different forms. At least, that's the justification that strikes in my mind - I don't know if it's necessarily valid and structured appropriately. xD
@Diamond Rain Critique This is more of a back-up essence, as I'm heavily favoring the E.S. essence. With the cloud thing - Kyou doesn't have to capture the cloud at all, if unwanted. She can draw some of the diamond shaped rain drops in a vial, with a back story or something of the sort where she has Dr. Kyou dispelling the roaming cloud itself. And I can honestly say that I didn't make the connection with the Mermaids Tear essence. Hmm. I'll have to ponder that to see if I can make D.R. more distinguishable or rewrite it to where it's more appealing
@Butterfly I think a Butterfly Soul essence would create a very interesting Raevan as well! I've favored it as a soul choice idea since coming into knowledge of LAB. 8D I've looked up the Glass Winged Butterfly, and while it seems incredibly interesting, I've yet to become too sold on the idea, mainly because if I went with the Butterfly Species soul, I would really enjoy the idea of a more colorful Raevan. Though I'm still leaving the option there and I may add it in the future. ^^ To the moth thing - I've seen it discussed recently in the thread, with many people mentioning a Butterfly soul, and Kyou/misc staff member, haven't said anything about it being against the rules, so I'm hoping that the soul is viable
@Cherry Blossom Ahh, yes. I've thought the same thing. I've been considering scrapping the idea as a soul choice. I just enjoy the idea due to the nice whites & pinks in the flowers, along with the blossoms themselves. I can also admit that I thoroughly enjoy Cherry Blossoms and have a fascination with them. >o>;;
@Fennec Fox Yessss! The big ears! That face! As soon as I saw him, I had to add it in as a soul. :D I'm glad you like the idea of combining the soul with a diamond essence and the feeding technique itself. I'm hoping people would really like the idea of the Fennec as a soul, like they did with Snoof's gator. (y) ^^
