Hi everyone!

This is just a note to say that for the next couple of weeks I'll really need to concentrate on my schoolwork. I've kind of slacked off on the big drama project for my diploma, so I have a ton of reading and work to do before the beginning of March. I'm afraid guild work will have to go on the back burner for a while. I'll still work on things, and I actually have most of that nysterious reserved thread up and ready to go already, so maybe I'll release it slowly over a period of a few days. Or maybe all at once. You never know.

Until then, everyone please amuse yourselves with Valentine's Vandalism! =D

Fwooo, time for me to take a break~

Hi everyone! I've been meaning to put this out for a while but as it's not that important I've kept forgetting about it.

This is basically just a reminder for everyone to be sure to post their training in the training threads and to keep their dossiers updated. I know most of you are good on this and I've noticed that even if some people forget to post their dossiers are still kept in order with the correct amount of time between training and such, but I'd appreciate it if everyone would try and remember just to avoid any confusion~

Stream of consciousness is wonderful, isn't it?

Anyway, as you guys may know from my posts yesterday I just completed the final exam for my drama diploma. It's basically been a two-year foundation degree, and from here I can choose to stop, or take the second half in either performance or teaching. I'm going for teaching.

You guys know how busy I've been these past couple of weeks working towards it, and I've kind of been forced to neglect the guild work. But my outside commitments unfortunately haven't stopped with this - I'm doing four A level subjects, two of which have weighty coursework to finish by the end of April. If I knuckle down I can finish it long before then... but it will mean a couple of weeks of more neglect, still.

Within Gaia, I've also been working on the development of a second guild belonging to my friend which has involved heavy research. I'm involved, as you may know, with my friend's OTHER rp, and am currently overhauling the thread.

Within the Order, I've got... two gigantic threads in the making, one of which is finished but I'm not sure I even want to publish it (the one you see reserved and sitting around), the other I feel aspects of which should come AFTER the Introduction is completed. The Introduction is a huge commitment that I'm not willing to skimp or compromise on. Aside from that, the system needs revising. A short sentence for a big task... XD

So I dunno, guys. I dunno. I kind of went to pieces earlier with everything swirling round in my head and weighing down on me... I think you can gather my poor state of mind from my rp posts... I feel better now because in creating the archive threads and this announcement I feel like I'm doing something productive...

I think what it comes down to is something Panda said when comforting me earlier... "you want to do BIG things for a small crowd"

Which raises the question of how much the guild would benefit from increased publicity. Less intimate, more problems... but increased development? I don't know. Somehow I doubt it. And yet knowing that if I personally were to cease working the guild would definitely be unable to carry on... it's a huge weight. But maybe it's best that way. I don't want the guild to be a burden on anyone else. I want this to be a place where people can have fun. At the same time, I am struggling.

I think for the moment I need to concentrate on the developments I've planned and the Introduction. But things like the system revision... things which are basically maintenance, reworkings... is it really something I personally need to devote myself to?

Tell me what you think, guys. If I were to ask for a small team of volunteers to come forward to provide improvements which I shall state need to be done, would you guys come through for me...?

I can't remember what I originally meant to talk about... XD

Oh yeah... but on top of that, and as you may have gathered from my reluctance to release the reserved thread... I'm not a very confident person. Sometimes I look at the work I'm doing and the recognition I get and I just want to crawl in a hole and die. Sometimes I think about people looking at my work and I literally burn with embarrassment. It makes me consider, albeit for a few moments only, throwing in the towel. All I can think about is how stupid I look, and how stupid I feel...

It might be completely irrational... but it's how I feel... and it's something I always have trouble coping with. It's always been a problem (I can never look at any work I've done in the past without grimacing), but never so much as recently, when I'm struck by the self-doubt and hate right in the middle of working on stuff. I don't know how to cure myself of it because it's what I've always been like. This timidity holds me back... it causes me discomfort... it's unbearable... and, as I've said, completely irrational. I KNOW I have nothing to feel ashamed about. I just can't help it. I envy the people who can post all their work up without even a second thought... people who can go out and do and say whatever they want without feeling like an idiot... I could never stand a social networking account like facebook or deviantart because I could not... stand... people... LOOKING at me...! The new search feature here on gaia gives me nervous twitches, because people can... look me up, and see all the retarded things I've said and done in the past. THIS is a retarded thing I'm saying and doing, isnt it? The whole guild. The whole thing. I don't know why I did it. Then again I didn't know my anxieties would strike me so badly...

At the same time... I've been made to feel worthless and freakish by my peers all my life... but I know that it's not true! I know I need to show the world what I can do...! But how can I do that while these feelings constantly hound me...?

Oh, I guess a few other things...

Valentine's Vandalism will end whenever I can get round to it. Yes, prizes WILL be given out despite the low participation. You guys deserve treats for being so awesome =w= I wouldnt mind a few haikus to choose from though... cos I love haikus... and I know you guys love haikus... and they're easy... and such...

um

Toooooodles and such

Hiya everyone! I like how I can go days without announcing anything and then bombard you with awesome stuff day after day for a few days XD SHAZOW!

Well, unfortunately today I won't be able to do much for the guild as I have an essay to do that was meant to be in yesterday, but yesterday (when I should've been doing the essay...) I spent the day working on Intelligent Infiltration, the new combined version of STW and BA!

Take a look, everyone - I think you'll all find something of amusement and/or interest in there. Unfortunately some of its key aspects (such as spotlighting) depend on the existence of the BIT, which is unfortunately unfinished and will remain so for a few more days at least >3> It's a big project...

Anyway, I hope that these two threads have gone some way to sprucing up the guild and keeping you all informed! You might notice stickied/announcement threads vanishing over the next few days... no need to panic, it just means they're being tidied away...

Tomorrow will bring even more new developments, so everyone keep your ears to the ground~!

In addition, you might have noticed that the glossary is up, though for the next couple of weeks you can keep on suggesting more additions.

Okay... so. Haven't been active at all these past few days. Hmmm there are a couple of reasons - firstly I've been going out a lot (beauty treatments and shopping ready for my birthday next week, squee!), secondly - and mainly - I've been completely absorbed in my neeew boyfriend~ Hehehe! ^^

Eh, I didn't want to mix my work (the guild) and my play, but as I've told a few of you guys over msn anyway, might as well state it officially XD

Then YESTERDAY when I ACTUALLY GOT ROUND TO WORKING I had a sudden attack of low blood pressure! Nooo, the fates! They conspire against me!

So I've been in bed all today and yesterday. Nyuhh. Also getting REALLY worried about my uberneglected coursework. Mm.. should REALLY get round to that... it's starting to get to me, you can tell because last night I actually DREAMED about having like ten pieces of coursework to do and when I woke up I was like HGUK!!! Curse you much more interesting things to do than school!

ANYWAY, I think now we should all consider this kind of like my official 18th-birthday break! I was planning on taking one next week anyway. So for this week and next week don't expect to see me around too much, kay? I love you guysss~

Woah, hold on! This isn't to say that nothing's going on! Let's see, let's see, what am I working on? Well...


1. At this very SECOND I'm finally transferring my sketched maps of the Temple into much tidier CG maps. The grounds are also sketched, but may take longer because I haven't tried making a non-building before... if y'all wanna see what the finished result will probably look something like, here's a couple of maps I've made for the other rp I'm involved in:

2. If you've been keeping an eye on my illustration list you'll see the coded names being slowly crossed off. I can't reveal what they're all for yet so I can't show you any examples, but rest assured everything will come to fruition eventually. There are also many illustrations NOT on the list as the list refers to full-coloured images, while I've also been working on bunches of sketches for use during the event. I think you'll enjoy them all very much.

3. Speaking of the event, I can reveal that it will begin in the roleplay's current day, and that the seeds have already been planted by you regulars. I'm sure you'll all enjoy the causes of it... I know we've been having fun planning it... *CRYPTIC*

4. BEFORE the event comes out, that mysterious reserved thread I've been talking about for months is going to be published, so watch out for bits and pieces slowly being released over the next few days. I'll make an announcement when something substantial has been released.

5. Interviews are on hold until after the event.

6. As soon as Storm submits the next stage of his application we'll be reviewing all applicants and choosing those suitable for initial members of the development team.
