Not meaning to cause any arguments here but who does everyone prefer as a writer. Personally I have got to say Furman's writing is my favourite, I love the whole backstory which goes with whatever he writes. However I have noticed that a lot of people on forums like the new fresh feel McCarthy has brought in his stories. So who does everyone like as a writer?

I'm afraid I haven't seen either of their work. sweatdrop The only comics I've been able to read are ROTF prequels by Mowry, some random G.I. Joe/Transformers cross-over, and a comic that came with a G1-looking Optimus Prime my little brother got this past Christmas.

They're okay. I prefer 'Defiance' over 'Alliance,' but then again I always prefered the robots getting more screen/frame time. If you can get them through a library, I'd do that first. Just a note, Defiance has a darker story line than Alliance, since it deals with how the war started (with Megatron meeting the Fallen, etc.). It doesn't actually come off as a prequel so much as a back-story (And yes, there is a difference). Alliance is an actual prequel/sequel story, and also has more humor.

McCarthy. I fell in love with some of the dialogue in All Hail Megatron.
