No, I didn't but my partner did and she loved it! But then again, she loves pretty much everything Tim Burton makes, from Nightmare Before Christmas to Peewee's Big Adventure! On the subject of Gene Hunt, did you see Ashes to Ashes last night? What a tangled web the plot has become!

I dunno, David Tennant left some hard shoes to fill. Especially by someone wearing a bow tie. The next Doctor should totally be Stephen Fry at some point. He's just perfect for the role! As for 5th Elephant, not so sure. I think Guards! Guards! is as good a story to make as any. It introduces the characters and it's a good tale. It might not have some of the more famous Watch characters, but it doesn't need to (as presumably there will be more). I like the idea of Pete Postlethwaite playing Vimes, which is apparently who Pratchett says is his dream actor for the role. Thoughts?

Nightwatch definately. biggrin It's probably quite a mundane book all things considered (apart from the whole time travel thing) but there's something enjoyable about seeing Vimes getting down to some bare bones coppering. They need to make a Watch film! Looking forward to the adaptation of Going Postal?
Wasn't too impressed with Hogfather, LOVED Colour of Magic, hopefully Going Postal will be even better!

Actually official vocabulary guidelines suggest we use the term 'service', as 'force' is felt to be too aggressive. xp Bwahaha! I'm quoting a film called Hot Fuzz by the way and so am not mad, honest. Thank you, nice to be on board!
