Name: Kurojuu, Hiroko
Aliases/ Nicknames: Hiro
Physical Description: Medium length black hair and glasses, Hiro stands at five foot seven with an muscular build hidden beneath his shinigami robes. He modified the lower portion to be more form fitting though, and he wears dress shoes. Hiro never smiles, and usually wears a medical mask to hide his sharpened teeth.
Zanpakuto: Hagane Ooku (Steel Oak)
Sealed: Hagane Ooku hidden within a komagong stick.
Sword Spirit:

Eight women in a coffins surrounded by bamboo. They speak and act in perfect unison and have the ability to control the bamboo around them. In reality though they are all control by his
Bankai spirit.
When the moment comes that he achieves bankai the spirit will dig itself up and the eight coffins will seal and levitate around him.
Shikai: Upon saying Grow, and Dominate, Hagane Ooku becomes a naginata with a spear head on the opposite side, as well as a pair of silver gloves. The gloves attach to the naginata and prevent Hiroko from being disarmed as long as he has a firm grip on the weapon, it can however be bent, but is easily fixed.
-Planting of the metal forrest: By inserting either blade into the ground and saying "root" Hiroko plants some seeds. These seeds take one post to grow into a few stalks of metal bamboo. 1-3 stalks will grow as determined by a die. The stalks are six and a half feet long and about and inch and a half wide. The seeds can only grow in soil, although it does not have to be quality soil. As soon as they are planted a small bushel of metallic grass marks where the plant is. The roots are about seven inches deep and must be entirely removed to stop the plant from growing, but do to the metallic nature of the plant it is difficult to break off the roots without use of a weapon. After removal the plant will replant itself if it comes in contact with the ground, but two post after removal it will die without soil.
Fully grown plants have deeper roots, three and a half feet deep and four feet wide.
-The forrest grows: By not touching any of the stalks each one will give shoot off more seeds on the next round, this can continue to happen until another ability aside from planting the metal forrest is used. Doing this can eventually entrap an enemy, making the only way out upwards, it also blocks the opponents vision
The amount of plants grown is determined by a six sided dice, 1-2 =1 plant, 3-4 = 2 plants, 5-6 =3 plants. The plants will grow within 20 feet of their parent plant, and if allowed to grow for 4 post they will entwine roots with their parent plant, creating a web beneath the earth and making them harder to remove. New plants grow at the same rate as the normal ones.
((The maximum he can grow is 500 plants. << Added in on 14DEC10))
-The forrest is cut down: By saying the command, "Cut" and slicing into a stalk Hiroko can absorb the metal of that stalk into his weapon, and eventually into his gloves. This extra metal can be used to increase armor coverage, or change the weapons appearance, but the pole must always remain, as must the gloves. This ability is limited only by Hiroko's imagination and the material that he has to work with, but the metal grows heavier as it get further away from him.
--Future Developments gained through training.--
-The metal forrest of the East: This is activated with the command "Hollow out" and causes the stalks to grow to twice their height, but become hollow. Meaning they still provide the same amount of material, but provide more cover.
Growing in water.
Growing in wood.
Creating 1d4 sprouts instead of 1d3.
Bankai:
When Hiroko says "bankai," all of the metal plants he has grown melt down into a large metal plate, then his weapon melts away into it as well, leaving only the original staff and gloves. As the gloves shatter and fall into the metal plate a surge of riatsu is released and the staff melts away into a long double sided katana. (Not double bladed, just sharpened on both sides.)
After the plate and swords are made the plate melts down to reveal the outlines of eight women holding swords, they all seem like caskets.
(**If Hiroko does not have enough to create the plate with what he already has the material will burst out of the spear tip from his shikai and creat a 30ft x 30ft plate.
**Each coffin lid is eight feet long and sixteen inches at its widest point.
**The sword is a five and a half foot long blade with a foot and a half long handle.)
While in bankai Hiroko receives no speed boost at all, but he gains a strength boost and becomes majorly better at riatsu control.
Only two abilities exist in this mode:
Shield of the Forrest Maidens: Hiroko can summon the eight shields to hover around him and form a shield. They can either cover above him or around him at a 220 degree radius. If they go in front of his face he cannot see, and if he makes a gap to see through it is penetrable. Also the chainsaw ability cannot be used while the shields are up. When released the shields drop where they are and meld into the plate again.
Chainsaw: Hiroko's riatsu is concentrated around his blade in order to massively increase its cutting power. The blade can cut through almost anything. The sword cannot cut through zanpakuto, but can cut through object created by them. For instance if your sword is an axe that can summon boulders it can cut the boulders, but not the axe. The sword is capable of mauling human flesh more than a normal sword, but it cannot cleave off a limb in a single blow, (Although 3 or more in the exact same spot may do the trick.)
((Objects that can be cut are anything with a Mohs hardness rating of 8 or less. Issues will be brought to the mods.))
Other abilities: So long as he cast them while on top of the plate, Hiro's kido are 1.5 times more powerful. A level 40 kido has the strength of a level 60.

Meditation to lessen the amount of pain he feels. This stems from his years of being forced to fight. By slowing down his breathing Hiroko can dull the pain of large cuts or broken bones, and can completely ignore smaller wounds

Hiroko is calm and collected. He is also rather opinionated, but humbled. Though he himself was once human, Hiroko thinks that all things resembling man are inherently evil until proven otherwise, sadly this mindset has left him with a feeling of utter disgust for humanity in general. He is a complete pessimist and loves to drag others down on the emotional ladder for his own amusment.
Biography/History:
Sold into slavery at age ten, Hiroko's life was never enjoyable. He was forced into a world of Filipino underground fighting. In this time he gained muscle mass and a tolerance for pain, because winning meant getting food to make him stronger for his next match, and getting to the top meant freedom. It was here that Hiroko gained the shame of his sharpened teeth, which has given him humility and understanding, in addition to a slight lisp.
Hiroko remained in this fighting ring until he was seventeen and finally gained his freedom. Underfed and weak he left his former masters behind and wandered into the jungle, where he met an old man that took him in. Hiroko lived with the old man after he had been nursed back to health and was finally at peace. The old man was far to kind to Hiroko though and did not prepare him for the cruelties of the world, for when the man died Hiroko wandered into the next town to give his body a proper burial, but when they saw the long haired man with sharpened teeth they panicked and accused him of killing the old man. He was run out of the village and forced to live in the jungle, but not before taking the old man's sword from his hut.
And so Hiroko lived up in the tree tops in a makeshift hut for almost a year before trying civilization once more. He cut his hair short and never opened his mouth until purchasing a medical mask. Then he claimed to be sick. Slowly Hiroko integrated into society and became a cook, which he did for many years until dying of an unknown disease at age 36.
Upon entering Soul Society he discovered that his body was younger and took advantage of it, because his home was in the Zaraki district. His life seemed to have diverted back to his days of slavery, but when a soul reaper saw him take out four men and break up a fight Hiroko's life changed. The shinigami recommended Hiroko for the academy.
Hiroko excelled in Hakuda and zanjutsu, but lacked in kido and thus was held back an extra year, but once he learned kido he graduated and left to become a shinigami.
