She liked the movie. She's 30. BUT she said it brings her back to high school days when you really like a guy. She mentioned how she could not see this making a good book either. She still plans on reading it to find out. So I'm happy she'd not brainwashed by this expirence nor do I think she ever will be. I was still sad she enjoyed the movie...I knew it was mostly due to it being Robert Pattinson, not so much of it being "Edward". Oh boy when he started jumping around the place and sparkling she was even like "Ooook...now this is going too far..."

After the movie I fed her the cure! I had her watch the first dvd of Hellsing Ulimate with me. I'll just say this, it ended at 2:30 in the morning and she turned to me asking if I had more XD. She had to get up early this morning so we didn't watch it all (she had to go home v.v). So we have plans to watch the rest later today.

I consider myself lucky to have older siblings with actual functioning brains.

So discuss: Siblings and Twilight?

btw
My sister is having a problem getting her hands on a Twilight book to read. She's embarrassed to be seen buying it rofl . How do we go about this? (Also the waiting list is disgusting at the library and there is no one avalible to barrow it from.)

Hmm... maybe you should get it online.

I'm not sure if she's actually want to read it, though, even if she says she does. I think the movie is a sufficient experience.

Also, you used the word 'alas' wrong...

She wants to read it because she wants to see why people make such a huge deal about it. She's a hairdresser so she constantly hears her customers frantically talking about the s**t. Oh and my bad dawg.

My sister was a Twilight fan. She liked it before all the hype about it, and the movie just totally ruined it for her. She knows Harry Potter is better than Twilight. C:

I would totally lend you my copy if you live close to me, that is.

So did she mean that as a good thing or a bad thing? confused

I agree though, I've been saying since the first time I opened the book that it reminded me too much of the drama in high school. Or in my case middle school since my high school had a small student body so there really wasn't a lot of drama.

As for where you could get a copy, I say just buy one from Borders or Barnes & Noble if you don't want to deal with the hassle of a library wait list.
