No kiddies, this isn't like a list like Shindler's... It's about listing off some of your favorite films, old and new, and telling us a bit about them if you want.
For instance, today I watched Nightbreed. It's a cult classic, revised from Clive Barker's book Cabal. Definitely check it out! Especially if you're into darker movies where anti-heroes rule at the end of the day.
Speaking of dark movies, Dark City and Lord of Illusions fall into this category for certain!
I'm sure we all know the classics like The Crow, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, Lord of the Rings and an onslaught of others. Try and remember films that others may not know, such as Cradle of Filth's dealings in the movie Cradle of Fear, or Lordi's having to do with Dark Floors.
So... Let's hear it. What films do you enjoy? I'll post some of mine over time as to not be so overwhelming.

Let's see...
One that's been a favorite of mine for a while is School of Rock. xd I heart Jack Black.
I also love the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's especially good when you see it in a theater with people acting out the parts and toilet paper throwing and audience participation lines and the Virgin Sacrifice. Fun times.
Keeping with a musical theme I guess, Repo! The Genetic Opera was wonderful. The music was great, the movie was silly, and Paris Hilton was actually good! Plus, it looked totally awesome.
Uh... what else... Tank Girl. A lot of fans of the comic hate the movie, but I thought it was really funny.
Yeah.

Hannibal was tight. Repo! is amazing. School of Rock gets me stoked every time I see it. Not sure about the bassist only playing the G note though. I haven't seen Tank Girl, maybe I should. And... yes, seeing Rocky Horror is great. When I was in Salem I saw it, Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog and The Guild's "Date My Avatar" music video. I want to say it was the Tesseracte acting group that did the parts for 'Blog' and 'Rocky'. It was swit.

You should totally see Tank Girl; it's really hilarious. And it's got Ice-T playing a mutant kangaroo, which is a must-see. biggrin

What about some "cult" classics perhaps not so well known in these circles? SLC Punk anyone? Last of the Living?
Sam Neil's made for television movie Merlin is beast, and the sequel Merlin's Apprentice was all right.
The original Howling is iconic for werewolf films. I just checked out Michelle Rodriquez' first film Girlfight. It scored my approval.

+[Skarekrow]+ Ooh even though I prefer the graphic novel Watchmen was awesome. Rorschach FTW. It's not like they made too many detours from the original. Dr. Manhattan's work was changed to a more modern understanding of a threat, as opposed to the Cold War ideology of the time. Though Mr. Mason's death was left out, as well as Rorschach and his conversations with the news salesman. The g. novel was wicked.

Here's one I love that nobody ever seems to know about: Psychomania. It's about a British biker gang that kill themselves to live forever and they go around terrorizing little old ladies and stuff. It's hilarious.
