Bloody hell! Their stupidity is simply appalling! What has this world gone to? A severe shortage of reason?
I've noticed that for the past decade. Parents coddle their children way too much, give them everything they want, then there's school's lowering their passing GPA score. *cough*NoChildLeftBehind*cough* It's just sad.
The best way to raise kids, is not to spoil them too much.
The "No Child Left Behind" policy is imbecilic, because there are other ways for the kids not to be left behind. In short, it's a stopgap measure, not a real solution to the problem of dropouts. When you look at the problem of dropouts, there are 3 things to blame. Parents for spoiling their kids, schools for not teaching well enough, and society as a whole for discouraging excellence, encouraging disrespect, among other bad things.
Of course, another product of this lack of reason to our world are Twihards and the like.
