Peaceful Hill North Block Peaceful Hill provides home to some of Carter City's more afluent individuals. The gate that separates the community from the outside has been on the whole knocked over, and most of the nice homes here have been burnt down, crushed, or otherwise damaged. The gates keeping the unwanted outside have been entirely torn down.

The Cat Lady runs down the descrepit, beaten asphalt road and scoops up the rebellious little Bengal cat in her arms, hugging him tightly and making soft purring noises to herself.

Rage, who had been blazing down the path, came down to a regular run, then a jog, then finally a walking stop. Breathing a bit more heavily than usual for a few moments, he kept his back straight and his left hand on the hilt of his grey katana. He looked at the cat lady with disdain, saying, "are you crazy?!"
He paused for a moment. "Don't answer that."

The Cat Lady flashes a toothless grin at Ryoko, then at Rage, and laughs, her purring changing to a horrifying cackle.

"Don't like this place guys..." he said, looking around at the destroyed homes. It seemed wrong.
"Only people I'd think would be here, are looters. The enemy would have kept the buildings up for cover and ambush points. At least that's my read," Daniel offered. Still he flicked his eyes over everything in the area, making sure he wouldn't regret his words. He seemed very high strung in this city, his hand never far from his pistol, or the throttle.

The falcon reaches the team and starts circling above them, screaming in that screechy flacon way.
Well thank you for taking off without a warning! Well, while we're on the move, I see a building to the northeast...perhaps there's something hiding there?

I see a team to the northeast...but they don't look like someone we should mess with just yet...let's go East

"East.... sounds as good as anything else," he said, shrugging a bit. He didn't know the city after all. That filled him with dread. First rule of combat was to have good intel. They didn't have that here.
He waited for the others to start, before following their lead. Always keeping an eye out for likely traps and ambushes.
