I usually start wherever my race starts, then go to westfall at 10, redridge at 15, and then quest there and in duskwood till 24, then move to full on duskwood. From there I do stranglethorn vale and hillsbrad for awhile, then it varies.
Post your usual order, and why you like it. 3nodding

Being Horde my friend and I when leveling together would head to Eversong as soon as possible, hit up Ghostlands for crazy questing, then usually d**k around in Hillsbrad. We've had surprising success there despite being a PVP server.
After that it starts to get less clearcut and we try a bunch of places.

I agree for the most part, though with the heirloom gear, it goes much faster and efficiently. I've made it through almost all the ghostlands quests, except for the level 16/17+ ones, and I'm lvl 17, 1 bar from 18 already. I usually go to hillsbrad really early, around like 25 or so, and its usually done by like 31. I'll move to stv for a few lvls, till like 34 or 35 maybe. Then I head to Arathi till like 38-39, maybe even 40 now with heirloom gear. Then move back to stv and hit up the higher lvl quests, and the lower end of it till like 42/43, then I usually go to badlands for a while, till like lvl 46 or so. At around 46/47 ill usually hit up searing gorge/burning steppes, moving to un'goro at like lvl 52, then to epl/wpl at like 56, then hang out there for a lvl or 2, then go to outlands, where its just hellfire to like 63, zangar to 64, terrokkar to 66, nagrand to 68, or if I miss a lot of quests I go to blades edge for a lvl or 2. And northerend lvling doesn't even have to be explained, just borean b4 fjord, and the rest is pretty simple. This has worked well for me, or if you really really hate questing, just heirloom RaF and grind it up in instances.

Beginning > Westfall/Darkshore > Redridge > Wetlands > STV > WPL/EPL > Hellfire > Nagrand > Howling Fjord > Dungeons > Icecrown > 80 smile
I got really lazy BC and LK with questing, I did Hellfire because I had no other choice, and every other BC zone was ugly to me so I started out in Nagrand early, lol. Borean bored me 2 quests in, after Fjord I pretty much instance ran to 80.

Azuremyst & Bloodmyst. I always skip the spider quest at the end of the zone, though - arachnophobia sweatdrop
Horde side I like the quests in Valley of Trials and the undead starting area, though they both get annoying once I reach the first actual towns. I hate belfs in general but the Tauren starting quests aren't terribly bad.
Also, I love anywhere with elites & space. I make a habit of soloing elites out of my level range and getting my a** kicked, but it's no fun getting gang-banged.

As Horde I get to level 10 in my race's area, then go straight to the Ghostlands at 10. At 20, I get to Hillsbrad, then go to STV till 35, then Arathi till 40, then back to STV till 45, then go to the Hinterlands till 50, then at 50 I go to Felwood, 55--Winterspring, 58, Outland, then of course Northrend at 68. smile

Leveling a hunter atm so...
Durotar (til 15 or so, BOA shoulders + RFC) Ghostlands (til 25, BOA shoulders + LFG tool) Hillsbrad Foothills (I only just got here)
Arathi / STV / Dustwallow / Tanaris / Searing Gorge / Felwood / Un'goro Crater / WPL / Hellfire Peninsula / Zangarmarsh / Terokkar Forest / Nagrand / Howling Fjord / Borean Tundra / Dragonblight / Zul'drak / Sholozar Basin / Storm Peaks / Icecrown ... and by then I should be 80.

I usually make Orc/Troll so I go Durotar - Barrens - Ashenvale - Thousand Needles - Stranglethron Vale - Then I forget...
Anyways, depending if it's a caster or melee, I keep them on separate continents.
Melee usually stay on Kalimdor while casters go to EK. The undead are more magical.

i have one rule and one rule only NO ******** ASHENVALE!!!
seriously, i have hated that place so goddamn much. god knows how many times you have to run half the damn zone to turn something in just to go righ the hell back to where you got the q to get another one because you need to give something else to a place even further instead of just ******** giving them both up right away.
but i think it would be much easier now that hearthing isnt an hour cooldown and mounts are lv 20. that should tell you how long its been since i had a toon set foot in that hellhole
