I don't think Miku will be forgotten, since she was the thing that made Vocaloid a lot more popular.

The originals won't be forgotten. They might be enhanced with techonological updates, but they won't ever be ignored.

Well Meiko seems to be replaced by Sakine Meiko.....Not officially! Lately I can't say Meiko without people saying "You mean Sakine!?"
But I'm not sure, Kaito might be remembered......Miku, rin, and len will surely not be forgotten since they are freaking school loli shota MOE~ gonk
Some people don't like Gakupo and Gumi for being different company...Sonika is hardly spoken of, the English ones were sadly forgotten gonk Luka is remembered of course.
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD NERU AND HAKU GET MORE ATTENTION!! (I have nothing against them)
I love all the vocaloids Even if they won't be remembered I'll remember them -cough-Meiko-cough- ninja
Overall....Some will be forgotten and some won't...

I think that even though there are almost, like a trillion, variations and UTAUloids and stuff, nobody will forget the originals. The originals are always the best! 4laugh

I think Miku, Len, Rin and Kaito definitely won't be forgotten. (In that order haha. ^^;; )
Gakupo and Luka I'm unsure about. I think a couple of their classic songs (like GGRKS and Dancing Samurai XD) will be remembered. I figure eventually a later Vocaloid with better diction will take off if a few really popular songs get made with them, but the old ones will probably remain the most popular. XD

Well I do kinda like Big Al and Kiyoteru......but they still don't appeal to me much. Some people have already forgotten MEIKO Dx Stupid Meiko Sakine.......
