Not what I expected at all; the movie was absolutely breathtaking. I expected some lame disappointment, but... I guess James Cameron is a famous movie-maker for a reason. Very rarely can a movie get me so immersed that I forget where I actually am; this one did.

If you've seen it, thoughts?

well...
first off hello charels, my name is emma!
i haven't seen the movie, but i will be dragged off to see it.
my only dislike about the moved is the character design for
the na'vi. they look so lame and the face is all off. i would have
been more interested in the movie had they looked a little better.

i hear its a good movie, but i'm not sure if i'd get into it like everyone else.
did you see it in 3D?User Image

2-D version. Very reminiscent of pre-European colonizatiion and population of inland New World aka the Americas.

I enjoyed the film. Though I had weird thoughts of steamy alien intercourse. At least briefly. But that's enough on that. I applaud Cameron's efforts and his three hour epic.

+chortles at Herr Wulf's post.+
I'm not sure I'd be all the interested in it. Although I do love a good fantasy/action film.

havnt seen it yet, but I hear its fantastic.
A lot of people have likened it to Pocahontas...Which is basically what Herr Wulf had said.

When you break it down, it is. Which I can't blame someone for using influences, but it's got a lot of likenesses. Still though, James made it all badass like.

And was it just me, or am I the only one that didn't entirely hate the humans for trying to keep their own species alive and well? More so, the only one that enjoyed the willpower and brutality of the old timer? He was beast!
