Karrde's tree seems to reflect him pretty well, bearing purple flowers and leaning precariously out over a nearby pond almost as though wanting very much to be a part of the pond. As a cross-breed Karrde often feels a similar desire and while the tree is beautiful it is small and just a little stunted...certainly different from all the other tall and strong trees around it.

Karrde is a crossbreed and as such has many hurdles to over come in his coming life, something he is only just starting to understand fully. Despite this however Karrde is an upbeat Nequus and generally tries to find the good things in life rather then focusing on the bad. He does however harbor a dislike for Reya.

A Quick Lesson - Karrde is lured away by a friendly Reya filly, once away from his parents however it turns out to be a trap by Eacles who has a grudge against Esterlina this mother. Karrde is on the verge of being hurt..or worse when he's saved by an unknown grey Jala.

Those He Knows

Esterlina - Karrdes mother, she's a crossbreed like him and he feels a close bond with his mother because of this
Udi - Karrdes Father, its from him that Karrde seems to get most of his coloring.
Larkspur - A reya filly who pretended to be his friend but was only luring him into a trap.
Eacles - A reya with a grudge against his mother...and willing to take it out on Karrde
